Adam was so lovely, I had to pen a review about how accommodating he was. We had many requests for the long Queen’s birthday weekend, and he was always willing to fulfill them where possible. I recommend booking the deluxe studio with the courtyard, but ask for it towards the back of the place, because this motel is located behind Lorne Hotel which is frequented by deliveries or garbage trucks which can be loud in the morning if you like to sleep past 9am. Other than that, the room was quite clean and had many of the amenities you would need to have a night in if you desired. Bring a pair of slippers if you are a bit pedantic about walking around barefoot in your room, though not everyone has the same concerns as me, it was a tip that made my trip just that much more comfortable. I wish it was possible to rate 4.5 on this app.

We stayed at the Lorne Bay View Motel for two nights where they upgraded us to a larger Apartment on the top floor with a great view. As the Laundry wasn’t fully operating, the Manager gave us access to an Apartment downstairs that had a Washing Machine & Clothes Dryer. I thoroughly recommend this Motel as it is modern & clean. We also found that the Owner/ Manager was informative, efficient with a great attitude.

We were expecting a room, but it was more like an apartment with a huge bedroom/dining/lounge area, plus a separate kitchen - very spacious and clean. The Bathroom was huge with a separate spa bath and shower. Our only critisim is that the decor was a bit dated.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It a perfect place to stay, only a few minutes walk to the beach. Also, we recommend breakfast at Aqua (across the road from the Comfort Inn), overlooking the ocean.

We had booked a down stairs motel room for one night, $149 we were given an immediate upgrade to a spa room with sea views, the place was really clean and modern, very comfortable bed, microwave, and two hot plates, loads of tea and cofee everything you could want, small balcony where we were visited by 3 cockatoos which was really fun so tame they eat out of your hand, close to shops and restaurants, and behind the pub which is a bit noisy till 10pm or so, only drawback the supermarket is near the caravan park at the other end of town, and no mini mart or anything up this end, so if you need supplies get them on the way through. We really enjoyed our stay and wandering about Lorne and the great beach, definitely worth a visit.

I went to Lorne Bay View Motel with my husband and 8 months old baby for three days just after Victorian queens Birthday in June and had an excellent time spent in there. The place exceeded our expectation and made such a perfect little trip for the three of us. We researched alot before going to this place . Especially went through lot of reviews. This Adam at reception, whome everyone was praising in their reviews was definitely a wonderful person. And he really deserve that praise. Initially we selected a ground floor Unit, but he upgraded us free of charge to a Unit which has a Corner Spa and spectacular views of the Lorne Bay(room 104). Also gave us late check out as it was not crouded. He recommended us where we could go to make the maximum during our stay with our little man. Erskine falls was my favorite (and yes the 8 months old, made it to the second look out in a baby carrier). Adam was really a great person and would do his best to accomadate requests and help you in best possible way. The Spa came really handy for me and my little baby as i was stucked in the room on the third day as it was raining. Room was really clean and tidy (furniture looked new) and had a very comfy queen size bed. The foldable sofa bed was really useful, and we use that as a cot for the baby :-) The kitchenette also was good enough to do basic food preparation for us/baby and the overall Unit size was quiet good for the price. We had a bunch of beautiful Cockatoos visit on the balcony too. The place is at an ideal location(in a hilly area), you can walk to the beach and the shops in few minutes. Almost all restaurants offer great food in varying prices. But its definitely worth trying few different dishes from around. Overall, we were very satisfied about this place and we cant recommend this place enough without any hesitation. We will be going back there for sure. Very grateful and special thanks goes to Adam for being so kind and assisting us in every way to make our trip so memorable and satisfied!

We had such a nice time in Lorne & had a excellent stay at Lorne Bay View Motel. We are a family of 3 with a little 10 month old baby and I honestly can’t recommend this motel enough. Location is perfection to stroll the main Street with so many great cafes, restaurant & visit the beach. (Pizza pizza take away pizza was really good quality and yum pizza as a side note) Room itself was fresh and spacious and had a really peaceful vibe. The kitchette was exactly what I needed to prep baby meals with a microwave, fridge & kitchen bits & pieces. Last but not least - Adam who runs the accomodation was incredibly accomodating to make sure we had a nice stay, ensuring we had a comfortable room with our baby, going above and beyond several times for us. When you stay somewhere it’s always nice to receive personal and attentive service & Adam exceeded this, they even have umbrellas to hire for the beach which is great for city people like us who don’t own one.Thank you Adam, your such a asset to Lorne motel & we are already wondering if we can sneak in a trip back next week because we enjoyed our time so much and alot of that was making holiday life easy with a baby.

What a great person the owner of this place is! We came here because we made a wrong booking in another appartment. The manager there referred us to Bay View. We could rent for the same price as the other appartment. After checking in, he really took a lot of time to give us information about places to visit and about the best places to eat. The restaurant we went to, was really excellent! The appartment was clean spacious, and comfortable! Wish we had more days to spend there!

Decided to arrange a nights accommodation in Lorne to treat myself. Thought the ocean view would be nice so was very pleased with the website of Lorne Bay View. Turns out the accommodation is dark and dodgy and the only view is of a car parked outside my room. I would have been better off staying at home. I think this place would be good if you just wanted a bed to crash in after a big night at the Lorne pub. The pub is next door. I recommend this place to people looking for low budget bed only. Relaxing or nourishing weekend seekers do not book here.

Due to Covid and flight rescheduled, I went to the hotel to speak to Adam to discuss for the possibility of either leaving at 5am to go to the airport or cancelling the booking. Adam kindly accepted a cancellation for this non-refundable booking and was really understanding of our situation. During this difficult it's not easy to get much businesses. Much appreciate that they allowed us for a last minute cancellation without any charges. It's a nice place and hopefully we will be able to stay in the future.

We got room 102 with real Bay view. Wow. The front desk person Adam explain us all the places of interest in the neighborhood. The room has everything to prepare dinner and breakfast. TV does not show programs, since connection to Melbourne was bad those days. If you plane to entertain yourself by tv it is better to watch laptop or bring something to hook laptop to tv
