As others have stated the accommodation is basic but you get what you pay for. We had a one bedroom apartment. Great views form both the bedroom and living area. The place was very clean. The grounds are really well kept and the whole area is very quiet. One excellent feature is that the carports are under cover so when... More

We stayed twice on our GOR trip, once in an apartment for $150, once in a room for $115. Both wee great. Location is terrific with ocean views from most room it seems. Whilst the motel may look dated, Andrew keeps the place spotless. Bedding is excellent as were the room facilities. Apartments have good kitchen facilities, the room have... More

Great find in Lorne. Stayed one night on the GOR circuit. Andrew was direct and helpful. Accommodation is clean, spacious and basic - we had a studio room. But the view is amazing- one can sit inside and look through the huge glass doors and windows or sit on the small walkout patio. Perfect place to enjoy an evening drink... More

The room no 24 was fine the view to die for, out side the room the gardens were well looked after, as was the BBQ (20centcoins) req,the owner Andrew was most helpful and did not require any payment until the day we left, we would stay there again.

This motel is on the road out of town towards the pier - about a 10 minute walk into town. It is up on the hillside with a great view of the ocean. It is a basic motel, but very well run, very clean and well appointed. If WiFi is essential to your stay then perhaps this is not the... More

We stayed with our friends at this motel. Rooms were spacious and clean with kitchenette providing us with fridge storage, toaster, kettle and microwave. The unit had a patio leading on to the garden with a fantastic sea view. Wifi is not available. A good place for an overnight stay.

Stayed here in a drive down the great ocean road. We chose the one bed apartment, which was a bed upstairs, kitchen and sitting area downstairs..with patio area looking over the ocean, very roomy and comfortable. While the foyer areas of the motel look a bit tired, the room was great, the gardens beautiful, and the views worth the price... More

Visited Lorne in August 2015. Stayed at this motel on advice of Visitor Centre. We were delighted with the large size of the room. The bed was very comfortable - definitely not soft as described by another reviewer. The room was spotless. Kitchenette has microwave and toaster. There is an electric BBQ available for guest's use. There is a lounge... More
