The reception staff member was very obliging and helpful, the room was functional and clean so all went according to plan. The facility was very close to the main shopping centre of Cowes and to the beach
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay easy walk to both the beach and main shopping strip of Cowes. Highly recommend staying here friendly staff. Its a good place to choose for your short holiday the spa and the pool are definitely a highlight. Everything is so clean and fresh sheets. Very highly recommended and would go back again for the next Philip Island trip.
Very nice tropical resort ambience with decent facilities not far from town centre. A bit more supplies such as plates and spoons will be nice. Maybe time to reconsider daily room cleaning and replacement of towels.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay easy walk to both the beach and main shopping strip of Cowes We were upgraded at no cost which was very much appreciated Highly recommend staying here friendly staff and great on site restaurant
20/04/2022 It was a solo birthday getaway to Kaloha Holiday Resort and the stay was relaxing and amazing. I had a lovely time. Easy access to the back beach, the spa and the pool are definitely a highlight. Everything is so clean and fresh sheets. Very highly recommended and would go back again for the next Philip Island trip.
Great being so central to cowes. If you like 80’s themed caravan park then this is for you. From the musty rooms to the dirty dishes. This is for you. Great place. Just needs some $$$ spent to bring it up to spec
friendly staff, good location to the beach and shops. However, my room was near the entrance/street side, and it was very noisy until midnight from the opposite accomodation (outside of Kaloha Holiday Resort), which was really annoying. I could not sleep. spa and pool which was ok. However, no bookings for spa was required, so one group occupied the spa for 2-3 hours which was ridiculous, no chances for others.
Great location, loved all the palm trees and ferns around the place fitted in well with the pool and spa. It would have been good to go in but there were too many teenage kids in there for my liking. The room smelt beautiful and everything was tidy and clean, the only thing I found was the kitchen table had not been wiped down as there were a few messy spots on it. Also, they didn't supply face washers which would have been handy. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic the chef is an outstanding chef the food we ate was fantastic. Wonderful customer service. We will stay again.
The Initial online booking process was quick and easy. Upon arrival, receptionist very friendly and helpful. The room was tidy, the kitchen was basic with only a microwave with was adequate. I found the bed very firm. When extended our stay by 1 night which turned out more difficult than it should have been because the receptionist was confused with what we were asking for. The key card was not updated so we were unable to get back into our room after been out all day which was a bit irritating. When we left, we checked to make sure we had been charged for the extra night… this also turned out to be more difficult than it needed to be. We were eventually charged the correct amount for the two nights. The extension of our stay and checking out processes was a bit of a rigmarole. Not sure if we would stay here again. I think the back part of the property needs some refurbishment. It looked a bit run down with old caravans that had verandas built over them….. kind of like old shacks.…
We had a great stay at Kaloha in one of the beachside cabins, literally metres from the sand. It was in a quiet and peaceful spot. The cabin was bright and clean, and contained everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also only a short stay from Cowes too in a very convenient spot. We will be back again!
