We had a lovely stay in Genesta House in mid-May, although it was at a cooler time of year the bed and heating in the room was very warm. The garden was spectacular and Susan was very warm and gave a home-style feel to this beautiful B & B. We were a same-sex couple and she was very comfortable with...

We had a beautiful 2 night stay in the Lily Pilly room. The room was cosy and clean and there was a lovely verandah to sit on which overlooked a stunning garden. The shower was a little small but this was not a big deal. On arrival there was chocolate and port waiting for us, a lovely touch. Breakfast was...

We stayed on Phillip Island in order to experience the Penguin Parade at the Phillip Island Nature Park. Fortunately, we chose Genesta House as our lodging for the night. Since there were 2 couples in our group, we occupied 2 of the 4 rooms available at this lovely Victorian B & B. The rooms were side by side and shared...

we stayed here for one night in the maple room. Lovely quaint room with ensuite bathroom, bar fridge and little extras like toiietries provided, tea and coffee, biscuits, and port. Close to the main beach of Cowes and quiet considering it is central and surrounded by other accomodation places. The gardens are beautiful and the buffet breakfast ample. Sue the host...

Genesta House is set in very pretty little gardens crammed with plants and hidden gems and the theme is continued inside the house. I stayed in the smallest room which was certainly small but there is a large ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and the bed is very comfortable. Sue made us feel very welcome and there was a...

When we arrived we were asked to forego breakfast as the ladys family had arrived for christmas, but at a push she would make us up a tray of continental style to eat on the verandah, We had to choose what cereal and juice we wanted there and then. When it arrived in the morning, it was laid out nicely,...

Fortunatly our first pick, Holmwood, was booked, or in our impression, the Lady didn't want to have guests, so we stopped at Genesta. Susan gave us a hearty start right from the first moment. The room was good size, a small veranda into the garden, the bed was comfy. Only the bathroom window couldn't be closed, while we were here,...

My husband and I stayed at Genesta House for 2 nights this past weekend. What a find! We booked the Lilly Pilly Room, which was extremely comfortable and nicely decorated, and my husband surprised me by having champagne and strawberries waiting in our room on arrival. The breakfast was one of the best B&B breakfasts I've ever had, and Sue...
