So pleased we stumbled upon this gem of a B&B for our 3 night stay on Phillip Island. We needed a later check in and hosts Evie & Richard could not have been more accommodating and we're the perfect hosts throughout our stay. We were met on arrival, swiftly checked in and provided with a local map and tips to get the most out of our trip. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. Tea & coffee making facilities and a full size fridge we're located in an adjoining room that doubles as a walk in wardrobe. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of hot and cold options to set you up for a day's exploring the area. The accommodation is ideally located being a short journey to shops and there's a long sandy beach a few minutes walk through the back gate. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. …

Glen Isla House was simply perfect for a 'special occasion' getaway! The beautifully-appointed rooms have a garden outlook and the beach is just a short stroll away. It's a pity that the property's website is a little outdated - it doesn't do it justice. The sumptuous breakfasts suit all tastes and are included in the room tariff. Evie and Richard are helpful, generous hosts without being intrusive. Philip Island offers so much to explore, yet we were tempted to just stay put, relax (under that SUBLIME super-soft throw) and soak up all Glen Isla's comforts.

The best place one can imagine. Kind, generous hosts that recommend and make sure you don’t miss anything. The house is outstanding. Unique, warm atmosphere, beautiful landscape, furnitures, gardening. 3 min from the beach so enjoy the sunsets while you drink the wine they kindly left in the room as a present. Breakfast is amazing. All in all - SUPER!

There was no one available when we checked in and no note to help us. The establishment has been sold into three plots and next door was a building site which started work at 7.30 am. Not the standard we expected. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts told us they did not make up the beds after the first night. The only place in Australia we have come across such. About 2km from centre of Cowes for evening meal.

As explained to you several times your note was on the office door, unfortunately you are the only guests that havn't located our office. We also have not had any other complaints about our covid precautions of not servicing rooms for 2 night stays.

Of all the B&B's we stayed at on our 2+ weeks on the ground in Australia, this place was probably are favorite. Evie and Richard are great hosts and do a wonderful job on keeping up the place and providing a compact but high-quality breakfast buffet. The room was well-appointed with a nice-size bathroom, walk-in shower (which we really appreciate), and a separate walk-in closet with a good-size refrigerator. If we could wish for one item, it would be a small desk in the room to use with a laptop. However, it wasn't much of a problem as we were right next to the central building where breakfast was served and we'd just 'borrow' a table during the off-hours when we needed a desk area. We're just sorry we only had two nights to spend here. The entire Phillip island area was a most-enjoyable place and we needed more time to really appreciate all it offered. (We had so many things to do that we never got the chance to walk out to the beach!) But we really do appreciate the hospitality and recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.…

We stayed with Evie and Richard for three days late November ‘22. Well it felt like we stayed with them anyway, such was their warmth and hospitality. There is a great living room where a full english breakfast is offered daily. If you’re seeking a peaceful, elegant accommodation two minutes walk from the beach and a five minute drive to downtown Cowes, you will love Glen Isla House, and of course, Buddy!
