A spontaneous girls weekend away &a gut instinct to book here paid off. From the moment we checked in with Chris, who was welcoming, friendly & had such a warm personality we loved our stay. Definitely a home away from home! Our room on the 1st floor of the 3rd lobby was perfect! It was clean & spacious. With 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 people a good sized kitchen, meals area with a combined tv/lounge space, you don’t feel cramped in. Our deck looked over a little garden . The pool & hot-tub was perfect even if the weather wasn’t overly hot. The beds made for a wonderful nights sleep… something about crisp white hotel bed sheets. The apartment has washing/drying machine, a shower/bathtub, toilet and a second shower. I will definitely be booking here again! I only have one suggestion… a small coffee machine would be heaven in the kitchen ☺️ Thank you Chris & Tony

We stayed in apartment 2 which is right at the front on the first floor. First the positives It’s close to the lovely cowes beach which is great for kids. It’s close to the town so easy to go to the shops and restaurants by walk although it’s on a hill so you will get a shot work out. The beds are comfy The pool is ok but freezing cold, kids didn’t seem to mind though. Has a decent sized balcony
The not so positives The bathroom needs to be completely demolished, no exaggeration, it’s an accident waiting to happen. The bath is very dangerous to get in and out of and the shower if you are to call it that, is in the bath. The water comes out in a trickle even when the taps are on full. You either get scalded or freeze . There is no in between. (I’m told by reception that the rooms are being refurbished next month including the bathrooms ) Couch is uncomfortable Internet is hit and miss I received an email from reception when I booked in asking for bed set up and asked if we could have a king and two single beds in the second room. I also asked if we had to bring our own linen and a couple of other things but the only reply I got back was that all beds are queen and two single beds. No response for the rest. I emailed back asking for a response and got none. FYI, the main bed was a king (and comfy) and yes they do provide bed linen and towels. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone outside your room just walking to their rooms as if they are walking beside you. One thing I found was very odd was the fact that they say the smoke detectors go straight to the fire department and that they are very sensitive and if there is a call out you have to pay. so you have to use the toaster under the range hood but the cord doesn’t extend that far. Really odd!
If I knew that the bathrooms were fixed including the water pressure and regulation and sound proofing was done I’d consider coming back. The place has Lots of potential but has been left to deteriorate and feels like there is no care.

Hi Lorraine72, Thank you for your review prior to the most recent Covid lockdown. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about our accommodation and your stay. We love being so close to the beach, shops and restaurants and enjoy seeing families return from a swim or shopping or a nice local dining experience. The pool is a bit chilly sometimes but there is a heated spa on the garden end of the swimming pool which can provide a warmer option. Also great to hear that you found the beds comfy and liked the balcony space. Updating the bathrooms is a priority for us and we were, as reception mentioned, hoping to have this done during the winter months. Unfortunately a further Covic -19 lockdown prevented us from being able to have these works completed yet but it is a priority for us and we are doing our best to source available tradespeople during the post Covid rush on works. We truly apologise for you not having received replies to your questions and will incorporate some of these into our communications. Please look out for photos of the refurbished bathrooms in the coming months so we may welcome you back. Thank you again for your review.

Large, clean, comfortable, well equipped, 2 bedroom apartment with excellent sound proofing so we weren’t disturbed by outside noise and more importantly didn’t need to worry about our kids waking others. Professional, considerate staff. Terrific location close to beach, restaurants and supermarkets.

Beautiful large ground floor apartment. Large room containing lounge, dining and kitchenette. Large bedroom. Walk through laundry, shower, toilet, bath and sink room with sliding doors to separate each section. Bath was disgraceful, it was rusty, edging on tile surround coming off, basin sink taps wobbly, floor tiles uneven. Other than wet these areas the room was great. Enjoyed having large sliding door off lounge room to small outdoor sitting area and the soothing sound of the water in the pool only metres away. Free off street parking. Nice easy walk to Main Street shops, cafes and restaurants. I would stay there again but not in room 12 as I’d hope that others would be in better condition.

Very welcoming reception staff, professional and courteous. Check in was quick and easy. The room we were allocated presented very clean and tidy. Furnishings were good. The property in my opinion needs some money spent on facility upgrades, such as bathrooms and kitchen fittings, but for the age of the apartment it was kept up to a very good standard. Great nights sleep and very close to the main street for eating and drinks.

We have stayed here many times over the years and still the same problems persist with new ones added in..toilet door locks dont work, dirty stains on the doors, paintwork chipping, cracks in walls, front door locks not working, shower head looks like missing the actual inner parts , fans in the bathrooms clogged with dust, spa area looks shocking, no handle on a window winder making it impossible to use, toilet seats that have turned yellow from age. Just all round lack of any care. Its so sad because it could be the best accomodation at cowes if it was spruced up and cleaning was thorough. The prices were around $330 for one night but this is definitely not worth it. If it was cleaned and renovated then definitely. But as it is, i cant justify it.

Beware you have to leave $500 bond from your credit card. They are stressed about what time you arrive. We rang them the day before to say we would arrive about 2pm. We received a phone call at 1.50pm prior to arrival checking on us again when we were literally down the road. The staff were also unfriendly when we did arrive. Decent apartment. Good location in Cowes.

Dear Michelle, Our apology that your experience was not ideal. You are correct that we have introduced a policy of taking a pre-authorisation on a the guest's credit card for $500 on arrival, in line with other properties. We have only done so because of issues with guests causing damage to the apartments and facilities. While our staff can be zealous when checking arrival times, it is meant well to try to make sure your arrival and check in is seamless and friendly and we are sorry that on this occasion, that was not your experience. Thank you for sharing your feedback o this process and the apartment location being good.

Our 2 bedroom apartment smelled like sewerage. The walls in the toilet had stains on them, the bed head had several hairs in it and it was extremely noisy. We paid quite a lot for our first family holiday in 10 years, but unfortunately, our experience was dreadful. Do not recommend.

Lovely apartments, nice and quiet and great location. The Manager, Tony, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, so nice to feel special and welcomed. The apartments are a bit tired, but very clean, beds were wonderful, TV was a decent size, had all the amenities you need. Just a very short walk to the main street. Highly recommend
