Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked a 2 bedroom cabin at short notice. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers and weren’t expecting much from the caravan park, but needed affordable accommodation.
We were blown away at how great our experience was.
The cabin was spotless and everything we needed was provided.
We loved the camping kitchen’s with commercial bbq’s. There are 2 in the park, 1 even has a TV. Both have a fridge and table and chairs.
The indoor heated pool was a fantastic bonus and the kids loved it.
The laundry rooms are perfect (my only suggestion would be to make sure you have $1 coins to use the washing machine and dryer as I couldn’t seem to locate a change machine)
There are outdoor showers dotted around the park for washing sand off.
Beach towels can be hired from reception for $5 each if you forget to bring one.
There is a jumping pillow, a basket ball court, a recreation room with TV, pool table, couches and library.
Reception staff were lovely and were more than happy to help with any enquiry we had.
Coffee is available from reception and was actually really good.
If you walk to the back of the park, you can access the beach through a trail. It has calm water and is perfect for relaxing.
We are already planning our return trip as we enjoyed it so much.
Thank you for helping to make an important family holiday so wonderful.

Excellent service and great location in Cowes.
Disability cabin was easy to use and spotless.
We recommend this park for a safe and friendly environment and the nearby holiday cabins had friendly people as well.
Very quiet location with the sound of kookaburras nearby is great.

Lovely staff (especially Taylah- not sure of spelling). Booking process easy, staff were friendly on arrival, and as you saw them throughout the park. Comparative value for money with the powered sites.

Park is beautiful and green, the 'heated' (but not really lol), pool is a bonus.

Camp kitchens are adequate, people seem to love the pizza oven, personally I would prefer a real oven, but that is just personal preference. Bathrooms were kept clean, toilets seemed very low though, water pressure very good.. Posted cleaning times were very useful.

Sites are not level, (even though I was told the site was level). The space for backing a caravan in is limited, and some sites are well away from a bathroom block.

The back beach is a short walk and is convenient. The park is close to everything in town, a longer walk or a short ride or drive.

I would stay here again, and recommend this park to others.

Very well located caravan park in Phillip Island. Site for our caravan was a great size, clean, grassy and flat. Location was perfect for all the activities including beach access and short drive to restaurants, Penguin Parade etc, Kids loved the heated indoor pool . We usually stay in newer Big 4 Parks, and this park is an older style park yet we found this park has been one of our favorites we have stayed in so far. We will definately be back.

The reception staff and ground staff were all incredibly friendly and it was only a short stroll to the beach and to town. We had an ensuite, which was immaculate and the drive through caravan site made parking the van easy. We travel with our small dog and she had the best holiday ever

Do not consider this caravan park, if you make a booking for a powered sites but then you need to cancel for any reason even with a month's notice. You will not see you deposit back, this caravan park takes half of the booking when you make a reservation. In our case they took $173.00 from us as a deposit and will not see any of this money back.

Nancy, I think this is your 5th of 6th review now. As we have mentioned in our previous replies: "You were provided with our T&CS including the cancellation policy at time of booking. We are running a business and are held to our cancellation policy just as much as you are. Your reason for cancelling was YOUR error in double booking dates- We had been holding your booking since November 2020. The abuse, threats and harassment towards our staff from yourself and your partner is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. No one deserves to be treated the way you treated my staff, especially when they are trying to do their job and already under extreme stress with the latest lockdown announcements. Our staff are amazing and do a fantastic job, they often go above and beyond for our guests." Have a great day.

What a great place to stay if you have little kids. My two year old absolutely loved waking up first thing and running out to the playground. Out cabin was right next to it, perfect for a family. The heated pool was a awesome especially as the weather was only in the low 20s. Great location, only minutes to Cowes town centre, including coles/woolies/Aldi. The deluxe cabin was clean with freshly made beds. It was really nice that they supplied a small single serve milk so we didn’t have to run to shops straight away, such a nice touch. Staff were always helpful and really friendly. I highly recommend for a family with little ones.

We and our fur babies spent a lovely weekend at the anchor belle park
We were in our caravan with on site en-suite facilities
The site was lovely. Close to the beach.
The en suite was near new, very clean . Included hand towel, bath mat and heater.
The camp kitchen was modern and well equipped
We did not use the other park facilities but they looked impressive including a jumping pillow and indoor pool
Definitely recommend this family friendly park

It was a great stay for our family vacation. We booked a powered site on our first night (which was great) and booked the cabin on subsequent days. You can find everything that you need in the cabin. Amenities were great and we especially enjoyed the heated pool. The park is also minutes away from the beach. It was a treat to see kangeroos on the way to the beach. We would like to say thank you to the staff who were friendly and helpful!

Thank you for taking the time to review our holiday park. We’re glad to hear you had such an enjoyable time with us, in both our powered sites and accommodation. Our heated pool is a definite hit during the cooler, winter months. We are grateful to be in such a great location with amazing scenery & wildlife, a stone’s throw away from the beach and a 10-minute drive to the Penguin Parade. We can’t wait to welcome your family back in the future!
