A very clean well equipped motel. Whilst fronting the main Phillip Island road the rooms are off a quiet side street. Good beds and pillows. Toaster, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, usual toiletries and tea/ coffee etc. Some other little items included such as bottled water, chocolates, biscuits, makeup removal 'face washer'.

Laundry room and ironing facilities in each room. More than adequate wardrobe. Large lawn for children including picnic tables. Many birds 'resident' in motel trees and very entertaining when fed. (Only appropriate bird food!!)

For our 3 nights absolutely no noise. :-) Walking distance to Cowes great shops, beach or cruises. RSL one block away. Managers very pleasant.

I booked direct online with ease and excellent confirmations etc.. I note the some 3rd party 'agents' were advertising rates different to the motel's rates. Our experiences have been that low advertised rates have a habit of increasing when one comes to book and advertised facilities etc have been been wrong.

I stayed in a spa room only planning to stay one night but enjoyed it so much I stayed another. The room has everything you’d expect in a hotel so I was delighted with the offerings being a rural motel. Incredibly clean, additional bedding already in the room, more then enough ameneties, absolutely charming and tranquil grounds, the front garden is stunning! they put out bird feed and is great viewing for the sunrise. Very comfortable bed and lots of information in the foyer for what’s available on the island. The location was the best of all very short stroll to all the shops and eateries. It just had a great aura of peace and charm. I have already planned my next stay in two weeks and competitively priced. Can’t wait to go back!

Stayed for two nights as our first trip after lockdown. The room was spacious and spotless. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Some nice little touches like chocolates, biscuits and bottled water were well appreciated. The motel was just the right distance from the centre of Cowes. Far enough away to escape the noise and hustle, but close enough to walk into town and back again. Will return on our next trip to Cowes.

Staff lovely. Plenty of space in our room. The welcome chops & biscuits were a lovely touch. A couple of quirky things that needed fixing & we passed on to staff. Despite advertising laundry facilities they were broken down. Management did offer the use of their large commercial washer/dryer but we chose not to do this .
We would recommend this hotel.

We booked a cheaper room and were very happy with it. Small extras like free water 2 chocolate bars and a full packet of biscuits were appreciated. The bed was really comfortable. The people in charge were so friendly and obliging. Thank you for recommending the restaurant in Rhyll. It was great.

Stayed here last weekend and, once again, had an enjoyable and relaxing couple of nights.
Manager Hope was warm and inviting and nothing was too much trouble, even going out of her way to print a document we needed but had forgotten to bring.
The room was very clean and tidy with some updates in place despite a particularly challenging lead up to the holiday season.
We keep coming back due to excellent trailer parking, the proximity to the restaurants and the quiet atmosphere.
Thanks again Hope and we’ll see you again next year.

Perfect location, but the place is a little old and getting tired and run down. Also there is no onsite BBQ for families to gather round, even though they have a big grass area which is not used for anything. It needs modernising desperately. Pillows were like concrete and the beds stiff. And with everyone smoking outside their rooms all night and early morning, you are going to smell of smoke all day. On a positive note. The staff were great, doing a good job with a 70’s era accomodation, and at the time we visited. One of the big buildings and reception had burned down. I wish we was told to us before we booked

Probably one of the cheapest stays (~AUD 85) we had in Australia so far, and what a great value we got!

Clean room, with a very comfortable bed, spa, and small little kitchen with teas & biscuits.

You will get parking right outside the room and has a very easy check-in process.

It's around 1km away from the city, but you can still walk it if weather permits.

Definitely coming back again if we are ever visiting the island.

This motel is a real gem. I needed a room for the 20th and 21st as I had work in Cowes and didn't want to travel home late at night. I secured the last room available, a spa room. From making booking to arrival to collect keys, the customer service was outstanding. The room spacious and was impeccably clean, with nice little extras like chocolates and water.

The bed was very comfortable and block out blind ensured a good night sleep was had.

I've stayed in many motels with my work and this is the best one I have encountered. From booking to checking out, he experience from start to finish was outstanding!

Would highly recommend to friends and anyone wanting a lovely place to stay in Cowes. Walking distance to shops and supermarkets. Maybe next time I will be able to relax and enjoy the spa!

Great little find! Very friendly staff greeted at reception. Great size room with all amenities needed, especially a long hot shower after a week of camping. Who doesn’t love finding chocolate and bottled water waiting for you!!!
Plenty of parking, close to the centre of town.

You need to contact the Motel, these comments are provided by visitors, I hope that helps.
Cowes, Australia
Sorry no extra beds are available in the family room. You could book 2 queen rooms and sleep 3 people in each room.

Get a twin room , the price difference is minimal, a twin room usualy has a queen bed and 1 single bed, trust me ,It will be worth it ,you or your wife can always use the single for a better sleep .
