We stayed in the suite with ocean view, 2 separate bedrooms, 1 with a view of the southern ocean!! So beautiful.
As suggested by Christine, we sat on the verandah with ocean views, and watched the sunset over the Otway's with a glass of wine!!
Breakfast was delicious and served to us in the dining room. What a treat!! There is a sitting room full of wonderful books, comfortable furniture, and views of the ocean. Another spot to enjoy a glass of wine!!
Easy walking distance from everything!! Loved our stay, highly recommend!!
Thank you Christine.
The guesthouse itself is wonderfull. You have a private space that consists of a bedroom and ensuite bathroom (with toilet). This space is not large enough to live in but there is a wonderful large living room that you share with to other guests. All the rooms are immaculate clean.
In the shared living room are complementary chocolates and port (tawny) that you can use. We used it both nights and the used glasses were already been taken care of the next morning.
The host is really friendly, We loved talking with him and it was always a pleasure to meet him. In the morning he prepares your breakfast. The breakfast is really good with lovely homemade muffins.
Very warm welcome and very good location we can go to dinner in town on foot.
The decoration of the house is a little surprising but it is well described on their site so no bad surprises…but there is nothing French about it 😉
Stuart welcomes guests very well.
Impeccable cleanliness, rooms cleaned every day.
Breakfast is a little disappointing without organic product with fruit juices too industrial to be consumed
With the type of house we expect a perfect breakfast but nothing too serious
Breakfast is limited because there is no cooking, so fresh yoghurt with muesli and toast with jam, honey and peanut butter. Espresso and capuccino and home-baked muffins.
Apollo Bay is also not a very lively place and restaurants are very basic.
The hostess was lovely and helpful in suggesting restaurants, sightseeing tips and things to do. The breakfast is adequate, even without a hot part.
"Apollo Bay is a busy little place either a lot of shops and it’s fair share of tourists. The beach is great - big waves, rock pools and sand"Read full review
