This is a well situated motel a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Check in was very good with an informative and helpful owner. The rooms are large with most amenities including a microwave. The shower was generally ok and shampoo and conditioner were provided but not shower gel. Oddly there was only one hand towel. A good place to stay!

Room was of reasonable size. Floor could be cleaner though.
Kitchenette has a microwave but no stove. Location is right in the centre of town so it was convenient
Although there was self service laundry, dryer could not be used after reception closed in the evening. Hence we could not do our laundry at night. would be great if the dryer was made available in the night.

Heater was not very strong so room could get quite cold.

owner was friendly. Requested for a slightly later checkout but was told that we will be charged $30 an hour.

We came across this wonderful Motel right opposite the Apollo Bay beach after having just come from another property we had booked for 3 nights in Apollo Bay that was just so disgusting we couldn't stay there & as it was late afternoon we were desperate to find a place that we could afford after being refused a refund from the previous property. It was like a Godsend seeing this Motel. I called the property & spoke to Jeta & she was so lovely & the price was so great for the 3 nights & when she said to come take a look at the room because she had only one left of that type for a couple, we said we could come straight away. We were literally parked outside. Jeta was just so fabulous & so friendly. She told us she likes it if a guest sees the room first to see if they like it & that it had a beautiful King Bed & everything was fresh & clean. As soon as we saw it & it was opposite the beach on the ground floor we were so rapt & took it straight away. Jeta chatted with us & said at night you can't hear any traffic & she was so right. We had a beautiful peaceful sleep in the comfy King Bed. The ensuite was lovely & large & had a rain shower head which was perfect. Can't compliment this place or the owner enough it was just so clean, comfortable & relaxing. Its so close to everything, literally a stones throw from restaurants, supermarkets, the marina with a fish'n chip shop overlooking it, the beach across the road. The only downfall was that covid came along & spoilt it as Victoria went into a 5 day lockdown & we left to get back home, but Jeta was so great that she refunded us for the day/nite we couldn't be there. We are so going back to stay once things settle. Thank you for a lovely nights stay & your friendly warm nature. Wish i took some pictures to post on here.

We stayed at the Coastal Motel for a few days in early February and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Motel is perfectly located on the main street so all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Our room was very clean and the bathroom and little kitchen were both well equipped. The beds and pillows were super comfortable! Parking is on-site and just outside your room. I recommend booking through Agoda as we got the best price - but the price direct or through booking.com is super reasonable for what you get. Had a great stay - will be back!!

Wow! What a great place it was to stay. A quick 4 day stay and enjoyed everything about this Quality accommodation. The location is perfect, on the beachfront, we upgraded to the two storey 3 bedroom unit, it is huge, well appointed, full kitchen, dining room, lounge with 2 large leather lounges, two bathrooms, 5 TVs, all rooms are spacious, modern, clean , with extremely comfortable beds.

Amazing accommodation at very affordable prices.

I must pass on just how welcoming and helpful the managers are. Lovely people.

2 night stay at the end of March 2024 on the Great Ocean Road circuit. Accommodation close to the beach and restaurants. Deluxe king room.

Small motel with 15 rooms. Very warm welcome at reception and we feel an interest in the comfort and satisfaction of customers.

The complex is very well maintained. The rooms are bright and have been renovated with care. The materials used are of quality: kitchenette including a small fridge and a MW; Contemporary bathroom; particularly clean carpet. Favorite for the shower: good space, airtight and with surprising water pressure...the most pleasant shower after 2 months traveling in Australia and that's saying something!

We could have stayed there several days to enjoy more of the city, its restaurants and its beach.

Well done to the owner!

Wife and I had the pleasure of staying one night at the Coastal Motel, Apollo Bay on a return trip from Warrnambool. The owners were very friendly and helpful which added to the experience. The rooms we had was very spacious and spotless with a wonderful ensuite. Our room included a king size bed, and the fantastic kitchen area included a microwave. Coastal Motel is located within easy walking distance of the many restaurants and bars along the Great Ocean Road running through Apollo Bay and we would certainly not hesitate to stay there on our next visit.

The best part of this motel were the reception staff Apin and a lady I didn't get the name of (who may have been the owner).. We needed to change our booking and there was no hassle in getting a refund. Also we needed to get some important documents printed out and again this was done with friendliness and good will.

Our deluxe king room was beautifully fitted out with a great bed and lovely kitchenette..

The only downside was that the very 'smart' bathroom had one of those glass showers screens that leak and the drainage was so poor it was almost impossible not to flood the bathroom.

It is in a great location opposite the beach and has a handy outside barbecue area and shower.

Room smells awful; really musty, and very obviously smoked in, even though there are no smoking signs posted everywhere. Bathroom smells worse than the room, and the shower is rather small. In-room wifi is really slow.

We stayed on the family loft. The kids loved having their upstairs room with a single bed each so no fighting. Nicely renovated and included a small kitchenette and dining table. Across the road from the beach and easy walk to town. Nice outdoor bbq area too.
