You can’t beat the views.
The villas are older cabins unrenovated since the 80’s.
Beds are rock hard.
You need to wash you own dishes and put out the garbage or you get fined, however our dishes were stuck together with food.
Consider a SUV/4WD for the drive way. Our little city car got stuck trying to get up the hills and the driveways are rough as causing suspension bottoming out. Should have brought the 4wd :)
Wood fire was nice but bring some paper to light it.
Bring some mugs for coffee as the supplied are tiny.
TV is tiny.
Beautiful views.
Pics make if look like you have no neighbours but had people along past at all times.
Would come back at half the price but plenty of better accommodation available.

Was a little concerned by some of the previous reviews of Beacon Point Ocean View Villas and was actually thinking of cancelling. So glad I didn't. Yes it was a steep drive and not helped by roadworks which had a habit of preventing us even getting into the property but providing you take it slowly no major drama. We seemed to drive these windy tracks forever before finally arriving at our accommodation. Check in halfway to our villa was easy with contactless checkin. As it turned out we were the only villa in our group of 4 occupied during our entire stay so privacy was at a premium. We were greeted by a very comfortable villa complete with everything we needed including a lovely upgrade by the owner to a 2 bedroom villa. Although we didn't use the second bedroom, the villa itself was larger with a great amount of space which we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Views were to die for and because we were the only ones there no curtains needed to be shut even though I am sure if the other villas were occupied the main entrance is via the back door so probably not a lot of passing traffic via the front which afforded all our views. Bedding and linen were lovely with plenty of towels supplied. We had the luxury of not only split system heating but a lovely fire as well which we used most of the time. Crockery, glassware, cleaning products, coffee, tea, sugar etc were all supplied and the villa was spotless. We actually stayed an extra night so we could have dinner at Chris's Beacon Point restaurant which was reopening that night but sadly lockdown 6 was announced that afternoon which meant yes we could attend dinner but had to be out by 8pm which we managed quite well after a beautiful but early dinner. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Beacon Point and its proximity to Chris's restaurant to anyone who is looking for a post lockdown getaway. Our stay was faultless and many thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.

This was the first time we stayed at Becon Point ocean view villas. The host Paul and Natasha were very flexible and quite approachable. They booked us the sea view cabin at our request name Sunny Side. It was a perfect place with silence and full of nature over looking mountains and Apollobay beach from high altitudes. Place is surrounded with lovely birds also we had a visiting Wallby came to see us early morning. We had a perfect glimpse of our visitor from our bed room. Morning sun rise was so amazing and night perfect peace. If you like you could open your Windows at night and you will get wonderful breeze. Very clean cabin and out side private BBQ was very clean and spotless which is not normal in most places. We had the comfort of having meals by sitting outside while enjoying the beautiful views as outside was very clean. Definitely we can recommend Becon Point ocean view villas to anyone who loves nature and a cleanliness.
We will be defenitly coming back again to this Perfect Escape.

Cheers

Mario

No reception staff or any staff to be seen. An enveloope on the reception door with a code for the room.
The place has become very dated and in much needed attention, particularly to interior painting, old furniture and even kitchen plates/utensils etc. The tennis court was overgrown with weeds and covered in leaves. The road in is steep and dirt only. Be warned.
No A/C in the bedroom or TV. Clean all your own plates and cups, take out your rubbish bin and clean everything down or pay the ridiculous cleaning fee!
By far the worst part about this place is the the small sized and extremely uncomfortable bed. Very hard and two nights of poor sleep for both of us.
Overpriced and underwhelming.

My partner and I stayed in Sabine Villa. The view was spectacular at all times of the day! We seen a Wallaby 3 times during our stay only meters away from the decking area. There was a koala who lived in the tree directly out the back which we were able to watch from the sofa.
The villa was spotless. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels. Soap/shampoo/shower jel/tea/coffee/milk/sugar were supplied along with a few biscuits on arrival which is a nice touch!
Will definitely be back! Beautiful place to stay to see some wildlife and relax.

Stayed in one of their 2 bedroom cabins with a sea view. The room is well equipped with basic necessities including a full kitchen. It is well presented and clean. The view is amazing, making it an ideal place for a relaxing weekend.

Stayed there with my wife. We managed to get in a “pre lock down” visit ie, we were there before the latest lockdown was announced. Such a beautiful place to sit and do virtually nothing. The rooms are comfy and warm. Most rooms have ocean views from what we could tell. If you like staring out the window at the ocean whilst sitting by the fire then this is worth being on your list. It’s just a short drive to the beautiful Apollo Bay and all of its charm

I loved this place, but I love nature. It was a friend and me. We had a 2 bedroom. It was so homey. We grilled one night. The door on the closet got stuck and I could not get my suitcase out of the closed. I called and a manager came right away. Nice guy. The pillow was hard but the second night I covered it with my fuzzy blanket and slept well. We cut our ocean rd trip a few hours short so we could get back to enjoy this place. Well worth the 10 mi drive off the beaten path.

We went for the 4th time just within 2 years , this is really nice and calm place with nature over looking the beautiful ocean and the mountains . What you need all are there in this accommodation . We stayed at Osprey Cabin - East Level over the Grand Final weekend for 3 nights , but is still not enough with this place . So relax , out from the trouble world . Easy own parking just in front of the Cabin . 100% cleanliness including your BBQ at the balcony overlooking the ocean . What more , you get birds giving you compony . My wife love this place , hosts Natasha & Paul very friendly . definitely will return again .

After reading poor reviews ..... I must say after visiting twice in different cabins, I do not share experiences or opinions.
The villas have brilliant views, whether it be to the ocean or hills and trees. The kitchen is clean and has the right variety of utensils and appliances. The beds are comfortable, and rooms well lit. Although small the dining/living area are also clean and cosy.
Bathrooms are average, and hot water is not a problem to access. Barbecue works and is easy to use. As away on a retreat to disconnect from city life to reconnect to wildlife and nature ......TV was used on basic news channels which was more than enough.
Only problem is the lack of outdoor seating/dining. Two deck chairs were provided however aren’t super comfortable.
