Absolutely beautiful location up in the trees overlooking Apollo Bay with spectacular views and surrounded by wildlife. We had several birds including a Kookaburra on our balcony and saw a Koala right outside our apartment. Apartment was well equipped with a fantastic shower and comfortable beds, and the breakfast basket was delicious. The restaurant was one of the most stunning settings that we’ve dined in with professional and friendly staff and a Greek style menu that contained some of our favourite Greek dishes as well as some local specials. We had a very good Stifado, some very nice wine and an amazing Creme Brûlée. The accommodation was great value for money, the restaurant was relatively expensive but well worth it for the exceptional quality of food and the setting and for a fine dining experience. Only thing that would have further enhanced our stay would have been Wi-fi in the apartment (available in the restaurant though) You definitely need a car to get to local amenities. We loved it and would highly recommend it as a place to stay or place to eat out on a special occasion.

The views are to die for. The accommodation is fine and good value. Two bedroom with an open plan kitchen dining lounge area and small balcony where you can enjoy the view with a glass of Shiraz.
Bonus is the excellent restaurant on the premises
Note there is no breakfast service in the restaurant, apparently they will bring you a box breakfast to the rooms, but would probably go out rather.
Excellent for a night or two, and close to Apollo Bay

My husband and I stayed one night at Chris’s Beacon Point Villas and we were blown away by the view and the size of the room. The villa was perched on the side of a hill with long range views down to the water and wall to wall to floor to ceiling windows all the way across the back of the unit. We were treated to a wall full of stars during the night and the most incredible sunrise the next morning - it was like going to sleep waking up to a giant, beautiful mural that nature painted.

The villa was very large, squeaky clean and fully equipped. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open the day we were there so we self catered in our villa for dinner and breakfast with no difficulty at all. We were there in winter and the bed was fitted with electric heaters which kept us very comfortable even though it got chilly at night.

The only reason I gave this property four instead of five stars is because the villa is not updated (it’s a little dated) which in my opinion means it can’t be called a five star property but that doesn’t mean there is anything to be concerned about. I would be thrilled to stay at Chris’s again and next time hope I can try his restaurant too!

The room is beautiful, clean and well equipped, on two levels, with the bed and the bathroom (huge and with washing machine) in the upper part, and there living area (kitchen furniture, table and chairs, sofa in leather) in the lower part. A huge bay window offers a very pretty view of the sea.

The problem is that neither the bay window nor the skylights above the bed are equipped with blackout curtains. So you wake up at daybreak around 6:00 a.m. and wait until 8:30 a.m. for the restaurant to open for breakfast! At this price level it is very disappointing, hence the mixed rating, especially since the breakfast buffet offers little choice.
Fortunately to compensate, there are the restaurant's bay windows which overlook eucalyptus trees where we were lucky enough to see a koala.

Upon arriving, we were pleasantly greeted by a wallaby. We assume he/she was on the payroll, as we didn't see any human staff during our stay. Our room key was left at the door of Reception. Our Villa had uninterrupted views overlooking the water. Unfortunately, the night we stayed, the restaurant was closed so we had dinner in nearby Apollo Bay - about a 10 minute drive.

The room itself was a bit worn/dated, and would benefit from some painting to freshen it up. The decor was a mix of dated and modern furniture. The bathroom had a washing machine in it which makes the bathroom very confined, and the space for the toilet very narrow. The sliding door to the balcony could not be locked, however, it'd be unlikely someone would climb up onto it.

The property itself is in a very peaceful setting, and it was a shame we couldn't experience the restaurant. We left feeling underwhelmed. We had been recommended to stay here by friends and perhaps our expectations were too high.

We stayed in a King studio room with balcony and ate dinner in the restaurant followed by Breakfast. The location is fantastic; panoramic views over the tree tops across the sea whilst sunrise and sunset bring rich colours to the panorama. The villa was spacious and had a private balcony. It was clean but getting dated. Room does chill down rapidly at night, insulation in the rooms is poor although heating provided. Restaurant delightful without being special. Breakfast offering a little limited in choice. The whole business is up for sale and I think has suffered from a lack of investment over recent years. For all its minor faults the setting and views more than make up for them. A must do stop on the Great Ocean Road

Wonderful place! First of all the amazing view and the calming feeling we got as soon as we got here are indescribable!!
Then, entering the villa we were delighted to see that is was very clean, tidy, and attention was given even to the smallest details! You can tell people here care to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Friendly stuff and willing to help with everything we needed. I strongly recommend this place!!!

We chose Chris's as a special venue to celebrate our daughter's 18th Birthday.
We took the Apollo Bay taxi up to the mountain top restaurant, which delivered us right to the door. From the moment we entered Chris's, we were immersed in all that Chris's is famous for: exceptional and professional service, stunning views to the sea and over the mountains, but most importantly the food! We enjoyed a stunning three course meal, with wine. Each course and meal was exciting and flavoursome. It was so refreshing to find a restaurant which delivers on all the big items, great food, great view and personalised service ( thank you Ian). 10 out of 10 to you all and thank you for making our occasion so memorable! ❤❤❤
Also, thanks Chef, for the special birthday message to our girl.

We have been travelling along the great ocean road. The last place we stayed was here. The rooms all look over the ocean and it was a joy to hear the ocean.

Only problem was being woken up by the light pouring in the skylights!

We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good, along the Greek theme. I was delighted with every mouthful!

The staff were all friendly and helpful, explaining any dish I asked about.

We had such a fabulous time, we hope to go again when we do the same trip .
Thanks for such a lovely experience

The room had the most amazing view, was a little cool to enjoy it from the balcony, but even sitting indoors it was very pleasant. Strongly suggest after taking the photo turn your off and just enjoying being here.

The restaurant for dinner was very good, breakfast however a little disappointing but enough to detract from the views our 5 stars.

No it's not good for accessibility. You can drive to front of the villa, but there were steps down to the door of our unit and steps inside the unit itself. They may have a special accessible unit but you'd need to ring them and ask.
