We are coming to this property for over 40 years.In all those years it has not lost its Charm& Uniquenss. We stayed in July and the outlook from Flat1 over the mountains was especialy soothing after our Lockdowns. A coplimentary bottle of wine,Apollo Bay CHocolates &roasted coffee was a nice touch. Four nights at Unit 2, Beeches by the Sea, went very well in the depth of a Victorian winter. The reverse cycle heating worked a treat and kept the apartment warm despite the chilly conditions outdoors. Beeches by the Sea is only about 100 metres back from the beach, and we enjoyed some very pleasant walks along the foreshore, and along the Great Ocean Road into the business centre of the town. The unit has a magnificent polished hardwood floor throughout, which looked great and proved very resilient with the foot traffic, both human and dog. The decor of the unit has been updated in recent years and is both stylish and practical. Having a full kitchen, with cooktop, oven, microwave and family sized fridge was very useful. We recently stayed at Villa 1 for two nights. So close to the beach and a short, leisurely walk to Main St. It was sparkling clean and really well appointed. Extra touches such as robes, toiletries, coffee, tea and books were a welcome touch. The villa warms up quickly and the bed was lovely and cosy. We were so grateful to bring our pug with us and he loved exploring the garden when not snoozing. Jess is a wonderful host and so lovely to deal with. We look forward to visiting again.

Beeches is the perfect spot if you're looking for a quiet retreat. It's close to the beach and shops and is only one of a handful of villas so you never feel crowded in. We stayed in Villa 1 and it's bright and modern, well-maintained and clean with everything you need for a week or a weekend. They are also the loveliest people to book with - Jess is a wonderful host and easy to reach if you have any issues.

Beautiful little villa only moments to the beach and Main Street. This villa was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and well equipped with everything you need. Little touches like robes, throw blankets, books and puzzles made us feel instantly at home. We will definitely be back.

Loved this cute little cottage, that was about a 5 minute walk from the main area. It was clean, spacious and had a comfortable bed. Jess was very helpful and answered any questions I had by email or phone call. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed in villa 1 for the weekend and throughly enjoyed it. Check in by lock , easy , manager rang gave all details beforehand. Great service. Comfortable couch in lounge, nice round dining table with comfortable cane seating. The beds ,2 bedrooms 1 with queen ,the other 2 singles , are comfortable too! . The bathroom is fine (love the green tiles) and had nice showers that didn’t run out of hot water. Big expansive windows in the lounge/ dining where you can see the ocean , when standing up. You are only a few houses back from the great ocean road and all throughout our stay you can hear the ocean. Very relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need oven stovetop, toasty machine, microwave, big fridge, it even supplied Apollo bay coffee and Forrest chocolate!…

We were lucky enough to be able to stay the Beeches by the Sea at very short notice for a short break. The host kindly let us bring our very well behaved dog too. The Villa is very close to the beach, you can hear the sea roaring which we loved. The Villa has two bedrooms, a very comfy queen bed in the main and two singles in the other, There is plenty of space for clothes. Everything is very tastefully decorated and it has every thing you need for a short stay. The beds very comfy and had electric blankets (its was winter). The lounge is very comfortable and the heater was more than adequate to keep the Villa warm. I loved the green tiles in the bathroom. We had beautiful stay at Beeches by the sea. We had everything we needed to cook for the 4 nights we were there. The beds were very comfortable and the whole villa heated up quickly when we put on the heater. The beach is only a stones throw from the cottage and shops a mere 5 Minute walk into town. We actually wanted to stay here longer but the next couple of nights had already been booked up. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Villa 2 whilst we were travelling the Great Ocean Road and it was lovely and very homely. Lovely beach style villa. All the things you need are at the villa. Excellent location, just a short walk to the main shops in the lovely town of Apollo Bay surround by a stunning forest. Swift process to check in. Lovely owner as well who helped us out with anything we asked. Thank you for the stay.
