We took our pup and had a wonderful few days of relaxation. 50metres down the road to the great beach. The unit was spacious, clean, comfortable and very convenient to shops as well as the beach. The bed and couch were very comfortable and the surrounds were very peaceful and quiet, apart from the fabulous native array of native birds that came to visit. Will happily go back again.

Another excellent stay. Love the large windows , light filled rooms. Beautiful large bedrooms. Heating is great. Beautiful surroundings, garden and lawn. A very short walk to the beach. Well looked after and maintained.

We keep coming back to this beautiful place in Winter for many reasons - it's quiet (though you can hear the waves crashing at night) and bright, warm, comfortable and clean and has everything you need for an easy stay. The location is perfect - the beach is so close and the local shops are only a short walk away, there's nothing you need to do except sit back and enjoy the birds and the garden. If you're staying in Apollo Bay, stay here!

Another lovely stay! The beds are comfortable , heaters are great ( essential for winter in the Bay) and the property is immaculately clean. See past reviews. We are return customers. We love the garden area for our dog , the big rooms and I love the large light filled windows. The heated towel rack and sky light in the bathroom are great. Beeches is well supplied with essentials. Quiet , warm , and you feel comfortable and ‘at home’ at Beeches. We’ll be back in November and then again next July for our 2023 winter escape. ( yes, Jess we’ll be rebooking!) Thanks Jess for lovely service and accomodation.

My wife and I drove the Great Ocean Road and stayed the night at Beeches By The Sea. We’re glad we chose this place to stay. It’s in a great location that was quiet during our stay. The place is well decorated, spacious, and well equipped. We liked that we could watch Netflix on their television. The bed was comfy and the living room was well lit and spacious. I would recommend this as a great option for Apollo Bay.

Beautiful cottage style accomodation. Very clean and neat with everything you could need for a beach side holiday for a family of 4. Easy walking distance to town and a short 3 minute walk to the beach. Amenities include Smart TV, air-con, cooking appliances, space to store surf boards and hang your beach stuff to dry. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Just returned from a lovely week at Beeches by the Sea. These villas are extremely clean & comfortable and as a bonus……pet friendly too. Finding quality pet friendly accommodation can be difficult but all the little extras that Beeches provide make a holiday all that more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Beeches by the Sea.

Truly a hidden gem in Apollo Bay! We had our first stay last December ( See previous review) and another stay Our stay at Beeches for four nights Nov 19 ‘21. We have stayed at many properties around vic and nsw, units, motels, caravan parks and villas. Beeches is wonderful accomodation because… • Very comfortable beds. •Hardwood floors • Dog friendly. Lulu loved the big yard and access to the beach. • Impeccably clean ( very important) • Bright and light rooms. ( have you ever stayed in rooms that are dark and small, you truly see the difference!) • Huge large windows in lounge dining area, looking out to immaculate garden, green mountain countryside and the ocean through the trees. •Warm heating. Daikon inverter. Our son loved his electric blanket in the second bedroom. • Two tvs one in main lounge and one in kids bedroom. •Quiet at night. Off main road. Glorious. • Only four houses from great ocean road and the beach . Takes 2 minutes to walk there! • It has an iron. If you have stayed at places and not ironed beforehand you would realise how convenient this truly is. • My husband loves how big all the rooms are , even the bathroom. Just think if you’ve staying at a cabin in a caravan park how small they can be. Not Beeches, plenty of room beside each bed and plenty of space around the toilet. Important. • A minor thing but the toilet toll holder is sturdy and attached properly. The number of times you stay at places with flimsy toilet roll holders that fall, or are broken… • So luxurious … there is a Heated Towel rail in bathroom , lovely after a shower. • Beautiful light fixtures in all rooms. • Loved the floating bedside tables in main bedroom , even our son mentioned how lovely they are. • Skylight in bathroom ( good for those nightly visits) • Comfy cushions on sofa. • Lovely easy to use modern curtains. • Carport in Villa 1 ( car off the street ) • Outdoor seating area. ( Great for fishermen or just relaxing outside) • The kitchen has ample equipment you’ll need , the oven, full fridge, electric stovetop, just to name a few. • The villas are well made. We have stayed at places that windows rattle in the wind and the whole place shakes in strong winds for instance caravan park cabins, but not at Beeches . Beeches by the Sea is a house, strong, well built and windows are secure etc. The list goes on but you’ll have to wait till our Easter stay for another review. As soon as we arrived , easy lock check in , my son and I both said when we walked in ‘ ahhh, we’re back’ and after the lockdowns we’ve had I nearly cried. Loved the little touches, chocolates, eucalyptus soap in bathroom , condiments sachets in fridge. Lastly , Jess is a lovely host only a email or phone away. Nice accommodation. Roomy with all the mod cons (except a laundry). Easy walk to the beach and town. Very quiet. My only gripe was the additional bedding in the wardrobes have not been used for a while and were covered in dust and were smelly.
