Greeted by very friendly owner. Very bright and clean room. A good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. A small but adequate bathroom all you need for a night or two. A short walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Perfect location a street back from any noise! Room is spotless and everything is new, including new bathroom. Comfy bed and pillows too. Reception were so helpful with local attractions to see and places to dine.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Apollo Bay. We had a really comfortable spacious room with everything we needed. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and the location was great. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Great value motel! Will be back to stay whenever we visit Apollo Bay.

Great price and comfortable stay for a night away. We walked to the pub and settled in there for a nice fireside meal - very close to the main drag. Service was fantastic at the beachcomber and we would definitely stay again.

Great motel, it is a traditional motel, car space our front, straight into room. The room was spacious and well appointed with a kitchen area. Clean, comfortable bed. The owner is really lovely, friendly and helpful with local information and recommend the good places to eat and the ones to avoid! This motel is set back from the Main Street which is a good thing, no road noise and no hustle and bustle. It was a short 5 minute walk to all of the shops, restaurants and beach. Would definitely recommend and be happy to stay there again.

It had all that we needed - hairdryer, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The mattress was the most uncomfortable that I slept on in my five weeks in Australia. It gave me a bad back! I would recommend that other travellers stayed in something up market. We had very nice pizzas in Georges down on the seafront.

We are very sorry that you found the mattress to be uncomfortable, PaulJH55. We have been replacing mattresses slowly, so the room you stayed in is the next on the list, however most people have found the beds to be very comfortable. Perhaps mattresses are just like pillows, everyone has a different taste in comfort. We are happy to hear that the room had everything you needed and that you enjoyed the pizza at Georges. The room we had was like a small apartment, with a double bed in the main area and another separate bedroom. There was a full kitchen and a large jacuzzi style tub. The room was very comfortable. I liked being able to park directly in front of my room, with direct ground-level access. The location was good, a couple of blocks back from the main road and the beach, but it was a short 5-minute walk to get there. The beach at Apollo Bay is great

we had a two bedroom apartment... the main bedroom was in the large, open room...the room was OK....old with a mishmash of different styles of furniture... the bathroom was old and the shower was moldy...cleanliness was just OK.. maybe because the whole room needs an upgrade... the outside area was lacking any plants or flowers outside the room...one chair in front of each room...not very appealing to sit outside...the laundry room is filthy and needs a new floor and a major cleaning... the owner is a lovely woman, but there are so many other places to stay in Apollo Bay...we stayed in many other motels in our 2 months in Australia... all were upgrade for less money....
