It was a overall a disappointing visit. It was certainly not as luxurious as advertised. Hosts were nice and the provisions provided were good, but the cooking facilities made it not worth the trouble of trying to cook. Fresh baked bread was great but a good bread knife would have been useful. We found the bed extremely uncomfortable along with...

Very warm welcome and great accommodation. Very comfortable rooms and add on welcome pack of fresh bread, local cheeses, cup cakes etc. Room we had was well set up, roomy and comfortable. Definitely one to put towards the top of your list to visit/ stay at.

We stayed in what was advertised as two bedroom suite, except it is not a two bedroom. There is a bed in a room straight from the main enterace. This room also has a tired two seater and a table and chairs. From this room you enter a hallway with a kitchenette and from there you enter a second bedroom. So,...

Blake's Manor is a perfect place for a get away or use as a stopover on your way elsewhere. We were greeted by Dina and Rhett upon arrival, what a beautiful couple. The suite was stunningly decorated and clean. Two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, dining area,TV etc. Each bed has its own little teddy bear which is a wonderful touch. The fridge...

Echo all the previous comments. Dina and Rhett are perfect hosts and go out of their way with special touches to make your stay memorable. We stayed in a family room that fit our family of 5 easily and could have accommodated a family of 6. This is highly unusual, especially in a property of this standard. Kids loved playing...

This restored historic facility is very special. Very quiet & tastefully restored Blake's Manor made for the perfect start to our Tasmanian holiday. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided some delightful freshly baked fresh bread. A benefit of Deloraine was no through traffic, yet close to Devonport & Launceston. It is also a great place to launch into Cradle...

The room we stayed in was really nicely done with lots of antiques and careful attention to detail. They brought us freshly made bread, local chocolates and port! Such nice people. We had a family room for my kids and my mother - it worked well.

We had a wonderful (but incredibly short) stay at Blake’s. But I will definitely be coming back! We actually had a late engagement in Burnie but needed to return to Hobart very early in the morning, so planned to drive part way, sleep in Deloraine only to rise early and continue to Hobart. But I love this place and I...

Wow, what a wonderful experience to spend a night. The rooms are gorgeous and the hospitality by the hosts are exemplary from the moment you set foot in reception. Nothing is too much hassle and the kindness is extended with additional touches like complimentary cheeses, chocolates, port (yes I said port) and a fresh loaf of home made bread delivered...

Just stayed 3 nights in the family suite which was great. There was us and our 4 young sons and we had a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable and it was toasty warm. Rhett and Dina go out of their way to make you feel welcome with fresh baked bread and goodies to greet you at the end...
