We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bicheno Hideaway. Lovely spot to relax and enjoy the quiet surrounds, nature and wildlife. Very peaceful and private. The coastline views just steps away from the cabin were definitely a highlight. Perfect central location close to National Parks and the breathtaking East Coast.

I am Danijela, one of the two people who over 25 years ago built and created the Hideaway; I go back from time to time, and am happy with the way new owners are leaving the property natural and beautiful as always; there are not many places in the world where you can walk from your verandah to the rocks...

I stayed in the boathouse with a group of friends and we couldn't fault a thing! Our hosts were friendly and very helpful, and even gave us some fresh eggs for our breakfast. The beds are comfortable, all surfaces spotlessly clean and we didn't want for anything. We used the bbq on the deck on our first night and sat...

You can't fault the location, the local wild life or the solitude. However, the general maintenance of the property could use some attention. We had to ask for light bulks and batteries to be replaced in remotes....very quickly attended to by Nick but the whole place just seemed to have an air of tiredness. However, the views and the local...

We shared a 2 bedroom cabin ( no. 4) with another couple. It was rustic but comfortable , a sea change . Great for self catering. Nice haveing a BBQ and drinks on the front verandah. Loved the evening visit from the mother peacock and her 4 chicks. Great bush walk along the beach. Enjoyed our stay. Very private.

We stayed in cabin 4 for two nights and loved it. The property is secluded with gorgeous bush surrounding each of the cabins. The hosts warmly welcomed us and helped out with advice when needed. The cabin was spacious, had both electric and wood heating (which my partner fell in love with!) and had all the amenities we needed. Accom...

My wife and I, and another couple, had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at the Bicheno Hideaway. The location of our chalet amongst the trees, just off the road, gave us a great escape from the usual accommodation types. The chalet had 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom, and large dining / lounge room. There is a slow combustion...

These lovely chalets certainly are hidden away. So quiet and private. All the inclusions of home. Cosy and comfortable with a slow combustion heater for those chilly nights. Absolute waterfront and 20 minute walk to a sandy beach. Lots of wildlife, wallabies, possums and peacocks as well. Delightful!

We booked the Bicheno Hideaway for 2 nights in their beautiful home, The Boathouse. It completely exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The rooms were all beautifully decorated with a combination of antiques and classic traditional comfortable furniture. The place was absolutely enormous but still felt cozy and well thought out. It didn't have that sterile feel that many...

The most beautiful place we stayed during our fortnight in Australia. The boat house is complimented only by the warmest of hosts, the clear blue ocean for a backyard and a herb garden to add to the flavors of a home cooked meal. The boat house is very spacious with unique interiors. What we really loved was the wildlife around,...
