Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Review for cabin 11
Very clean and tidy. The kitchen had a two-seater dining table, small oven, 2 hotplates and a bar-fridge plus toaster and jug. Bathroom was compact, but functional. The queen sized bed was comfortable (electric blankets supplied). Two small issues ... the air conditioner didn't work and the front door lock was difficult to open. We didn't find out about the air conditioner until after dark, so we left a note for management. Thanks for a lovely quiet stay.

Room Tip: Book early, this is a great park, and Bicheno is a BUSY spot.

We stayed on a powered site. The parks amenities were very average, it consisted of only 4 unisex ensuite style amenities, with toilet and shower combined. When you wanted to go to the toilet OR have a shower.....join the queue. When you did get in, the floors were soaked with water and smelled of urine. There was a mop on the deck for self cleaning which the water was black.
Had a good playground for the kids, walkway from the park straight to the shops and close to the beach suitable for swimming.

We stayed just the one night and there was a mix up with our booking. The lady on reception was incredibly helpful and managed to slot us in to an unpowered site for the night. Our site was on grass which made a nice change from the sand and dirt sites we'd previously had! It was super busy - every site was full, yet it didn't feel uncomfortable or crowded.

The amenities were good - note that there are extra showers and toilets either side of the laundry (opposite the camp kitchen) that many people didn't know about.

Central location, great spot to stay.

Comfortable cabin, clean and tidy. One of the main reasons we chose this place was they advertised free Wifi. However we found that the Wifi did not work for our entire stay of 5 days. We notified the Office staff and were told that "the Wifi acts up at times". A big let down for us. Fortunately for us the Tasmania Government installed free Wifi in the Triangle Park across the road. Stay here if you dont need access to Wifi.

Great location, toilets near laundry are the better ones. Laundry Dryers need to be upgraded as do the washing machines. Don't waist your money on the dryers and go to the laundromat or if you get a good day use the clothes line.
Our site wasn't one of the better sites but ok for two nights. I don't know how people can give this park raving reviews. Amenities quite run down

Located so close to eateries and local convenience stores, was excellent start to two night stay. Close to Coles Bay etc. We had 2 bed cabin which was warm comfortable and very clean. All bathroom amenities orivided, body wash shampoo and conditioner hair dryer. Kitch had good size fridge microwave kettle toaster, tea and coffer provided. Amenities on the site were so very clean. Our stay the park was very quiet and friendly.

Only had one night in the two bedroom cabin. Beds were comfortable, the couple at the check in desk were really nice. The TV yessss was a smart TV so was able to log in and watch Netflix! Could just walk out the gate to the Bicheno Penguin tour so bonus. The internet was the only let down, you go a password but it just wasn’t strong enough. But other than that I would definitely stay again if I ever came back to the area.

We stayed in a two-bedroom cabin. One had a double bed (with small bedside tables and reading lamps) and the other had two bunk beds where you can sleep up to 5 kids. The bathroom was tiny but it was alright. The living room/kitchen was in the middle of the cabin. It had a big table (I loved that), TV, heater and a proper kitchen. This is the first cabin we got that even had a small stove. There was also a large fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. And plenty of kitchen supplies to cook and eat with. The walls of the cabin were made of wood, making it really cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here over the school holidays and stayed in a 6 person cabin. It was clean and neat. Staff were friendly. The kids had fun and hung out with all the other kids staying in the park. It is a great location for Red Bill surf beach, shops, tavern, bakery and other conveniences. Great stay overall

We stay here every two years..love the park and the previous Management, however this time the new management put us in the worst place ever, site 55, it’s so uneven, can’t even get the van of the hockey wheel! It has a ramp to the concrete and even that’s not even, Annex/awning area totally uneven, No where to park a car. I booked 10mths ago and asked for a flat easy access site and gave the make and model of both the car and caravan. Suitable for small vans and cars only! No response from management after several calls and emails. Very disappointed. Also overcharged and the receptionist said not here problem
