Our room was half renovated. It was ok but the beer garden music on Friday and Saturday night was unbearable. Blues harmonica music until 11pm followed by noisy patrons. The rooms face the entertainment area so it's inevitable there's going to be noise. Our room wasn't serviced as per website information.

New, clean motel rooms at the rear of the hotel with double doors opening onto a pleasant lawn and rose garden with views to the walking track and creek. Bathrooms are tiny, just a small curtained shower and toilet. The hand basin is in a bench, outside the bathroom, with the kettle, microwave etc.
The double rooms are quite small, cosy for two adults. There is only one chair but we carried another in from the verandah, after removing the bird droppings. On our second night we paid a little extra for a family room which was larger. Same size bathroom and hand basin arrangement.
The hotel dining is very popular; the meals are typical pub tucker and good value. We heard no noise from the pub on the nights we stayed.

Stopped here for lunch and ordered a chicken parmigiana. Asked for chips to be replaced by a salad and got charged 3 dollars for the change request. Food came fast, the parmi was average, the salad tiny with some half-raw crunchy potatoes, missing dressing and a not really fresh bread roll. All in all: For 25 dollars I’ve seen much better parmis!

A huge disappointment yet again. I’ve stayed in this motel many times and I stayed there in November and was disturbed by rowdy drunks at the outdoor bar by the bottle shop. They caroused very loudly til well after midnight. I stupidly returned to find a beer garden/entertainment centre has been constructed ten metres from the motel rooms. There is a playground, two large tvs and live music so there is constant, unrelenting noise right by your room which goes all afternoon and night. I returned to my room at 10.45pm and there were abusive drunks shouting obscenities until. I will never return.

Went for birthday celebration 12 of us. We booked table for 6.30. All meals booked and paid for by 6.45.
First meal delivered pizza 20 mins later great we thought. Well 45 mins later yes 1 hr after ordering our meal’s arrived. Schnitzels arrived almost burnt. Fish arrived crumbed so overdone cracked when tried to cut. So overdone, if you go table of 4 great service order and out whilst we are still waiting. This is the 3rd time our party has had to wait at least an hour and we are locals. This is the last time we will be going. Dreadful dreadful service. Don’t bother visiting.

Dinner at Naracoorte hotel was absolutely amazing. I’m a vegetarian and the plant based schnitzel was incredible.
I certainly wouldn’t of expected this level of plant based food in a country hotel so was very pleasantly surprised and surprised on how tasty it was.
My partner who is not vegetarian had the chicken schnitzel and equally loved he’s meal.
The atmosphere in the bistro was also amazing, and staff were very hospitable.

Fabulous food and cosy dining room with an open fire. We enjoyed chicken wrapped in bacon with prawns and garlic sauce. My husband had the beef checks in red wine jus. We stayed in the refurbished motel rooms at the rear, which was perfect for a one night stay.

We had a one night stay in April 2022 and knew this was an old hotel, but the rooms (located behind the hotel) were renovated only a few years ago. Very comfortable, a good price and quiet at night. We ate dinner in the bistro which was very enjoyable too. I would most definitely stay here again if I was to visit this town again.

I’ve eaten a lot of steaks on my time but the rump steak was probably one of the best I’ve had. My wife had the same and her view was the same as the best steak she’d had as well. Service was fast and the whole Meal was Affordable too. Highly recommended

Excellent food, service and atmosphere in an old local pub. Value for money and chef specials and menus offered a good choice. Excellent for large groups. Beer garden out the back also very characterful.
