This is a lovely clean park with large sites and green lawns. The bathroom amenities are heated and offer bath mats and the kitchen is spacious and well fitted out . There are many free outdoor games set up (chess, Frisbee golf, jenga etc.) and there is a short cut to town. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Went with my family for 3 nights. The cabin was clean but the grill didn't heat probably so made it very hard to cook, the certain rod in the bedroom kept falling down and the heater didn't even heat the small sitting area. The main reason we booked to stay at this park was the train rides that go through the park, unfortunately the train is closed during winter and it doesn't say that anywhere on the website or when book or on arrival. The office was also closed and we couldn't buy glof clubs to play mini golf or use the go karts. Everything was closed and not much for the kids to do so we left a day early. The naracoorte caves however are a must see

I don’t mind waiting if office unattended, it was raining and I was tired from driving. The time was 4 pm when I drove in and the advertised time online for office to shut was 5 pm, on the site I looked at. Anyway the lady was not very friendly, told me to book ahead if I was going to be late arriving! I was there an hour before advertised closing time! Travelling on my own, in my own little Hiace, then to be charged $48.00 for very little! I will look out for free camp next time.

This is a very nice caravan park with plenty of shady sites. The amenities are very good, clean and tidy too. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. They do not have a swimming pool, but there is a public pool directly outside.

Have stayed at big 4 in past and this place does not come close to other places. The hot water unit made so much noise, couldn’t sleep. Lucky we arrived before 4, as that’s when office closed on public holidays and 5 other days. We collected keys for family as otherwise they couldn’t get in, arrived at 6. Despite being in a high fire risk, gutters were full of debris. Toilets in campground not cleaned.

Thanks for your review. Naracoorte Holiday Park is 45 years+ old so it is a little dated but it was newly acquired in 2021 and we hope you keep following the Park to see the upgrades as they happen. Of course , we will look into all your feedback to see what changes we can action immediately to better future guests experience. Late check-ins are available to all of our guests, they just need to speak with the Park Team prior to arrival to arrange it. We're glad that you arrived before the office closed, though, and together we were able to to help out the rest of your group who arrived after hours.

Stayed in Studio Cabin which was of an older style, it was spacious enough and clean. The Caravan Park does seem a bit tired looking but on the plus side, is within walking distance to a local supermarket and next door to the swimming lake, nice if staying in summer. Also, the camp kitchen is spacious and well equiped. For the price, it was okay.

We are currently staying at the park, on arrival we received a friendly welcome by the Managers, big sites easy to reverse into, we have found it easy to relax, only a short walk into town to supermarkets and restaurants. We have no hesitation in recommending this park, we definitely will be back. Congratulations to the managers for a well run park.

Deluxe cabin. Nicely located overlooking grassed area and jumping pillow. Was nice to sit on decking. Felt spacious around the cabin and good size within for family of 4. I quite liked the birds everyone was complaining about. Good size couch and table to seat all 4 of us. Great aircon and fans needed for the hot days we had there. Good size rooms and TV in bedroom too. Next door walking distance to swimming lake. Improvements needed are a smart tv, kids were going crazy without it. Bedding was strange with a quilt between two sheets. Usually a quilt is inside a quilt cover of some sort. Cleaning was bad, toilet smelt like piss, shower, toaster kettle and dishes could of been cleaner and a sharp knife and oven was needed. We had trouble cutting a tomato. Jumping pillow was flat and dirty and was basically the only activity included. Had to pay extra for mini golf, bikes and train which I felt should be included for the price. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just need to make some improvements

Thanks for your review, Danielle. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and will pass your ideas on how we could make the guest experience even better on to our team. We're currently working on wifi for the Park, which will allow for more entertainment options, such as including smart tvs in our cabins & facilities. Please note, the limestone in the water can cause discolouration of wet areas & appliances but they are clean. We're also glad you noticed the bedding! Triple sheeting is something new we're trying out. It's very common in hotels so while it may be "strange" to see in a caravan park, our hot tip is you'll start seeing it more and more as you stay in Parks across Australia.

Slightly older style cabins, but still clean and functional, in a park with many family friendly facilities. Most convenient for us was the close proximity to shops and restaurants available by a simple walk along the creek walkway, making it very easy access to Naracoorte. It did what it needed to do for us, and was not excessively priced.

One pet cabin; old and tired with a very small bathroom, blinds are broken & very dirty, screen door has holes in wire; mozzies/flys can get in. The floor is sloping so you cant have anything on wheels or it rolls to the lowest point! The park previously had a larger cabin that whilst old, was clean and adequate. I’m not sure why this park has chosen to downgrade anyone staying with their dog into the poorer quality double bed cabin. Certainly wouldn’t suit a family travelling with their dog and as they only have one cabin its limited availability. We wouldn't stay again until the pet friendly cabin is improved. We have stayed in many pet friendly cabins in other parks and this is by far the worst we have encountered.

Thanks for your review. The Pet Cabin is a new offering at Naracoorte Holiday Park so it's good to hear our guests' initial response as to what we could do differently to improve the experience. It's not unusual for older cabins to be typed as Pet Friendly but we understand that most people, including those travelling with pets, would prefer the better quality cabins. The "quality" lifespan would be shortened though as Pet Cabins are our arguably the most popular accommodation choice with a high turnover, which means they do get run down quicker. We will have our Park Managers assess the cabin to see if there's any further maintenance we can do to improve future guests' experience.
