Lose the salt, control the pices. The duck spring roll were overpowered by five spice, the lime and pepper prawns drowned in the batter. everything was super salty. And, really, if the customer orders salad he/she/they are expecting fresh flavours. Not cold pasta and tinned beetroot. So disappointing.
Ordered Takeaway on a Saturday night. Didn’t take too long, even with that place full and the service was great. The meals were really great. Large serve, great chips, massive schnitzels, kilpatric topping was really nice. We will be back, it was definitely worth the money.
Asked for a medium steak. Got a rare. Asked them to cook it a bit longer. Got sent out a new steak which was a nice thought. Problem - it was raw. Just disappointed for a $40 steak in pub. Waiting staff were lovely.
Our family spent 5 nights in Kingston and expected to eat in a different place each night. Instead we ate and drank 4 of the five nights at the Crown. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The serves were huge!
Slightly tucked away from the (obvious) foreshore ( royal mail ) hotel ( grumpy ). The Crown Inn was a bustle of locals and tourists ( like ourselves) enjoying a delicious pub fair. Staff are happy and helpful and the food is great. Highly recommend.
