This quaint hotel is located on the main shopping street of Kingscote and offers one of the few options for meals in this small coastal town. We enjoyed an informal Pub style meal - beef and rice curry, steaks, Greek lamb, and fisherman’s basket. They were all quite nice and being in the pub you have a good selection of...

We recently dined at the Queenscliffe Hotel on a Wednesday night. There are two hotels in Kingscote, the other being the Ozone. From the outside you would have been excused for thinking that it was closed but once inside we found about 20 or so in the dining room. The menu was typical pub fare and our meals were reasonably...

We attended this hotel for a family dinner. The night was quite pleasant. The hotel is a lovely old pub decorated beautifully. That night the atmosphere in the dining room was a family style pub and the meal was quite nice. The quality of the food was not outstanding but rather a country pub meal class. Overall we had a...

We went for the Tuesday night schnitzel special & the place was packed with locals (a good sign in my books) really enjoyed it as did my 2 girls. We went back on our last night and was met by the same friendly staff (Laura was very kind) who made us feel very welcome. Had the schnitzel again & wasn't...

We were so glad to have found good reviews for this hotel on Trip Advisor prior to our holiday. It is a family oriented hotel with decent pub meals, with warm and friendly service. We stayed in Kingscote 6 nights and ate here 3 times. The food was excellent, in fact a little better than the average pub food. On...

Our meals were delicious and served very quickly even though there were more people than expected on a Monday night, and they were missing a staff member. The prices are far more appealing than the nearby pub (presumably their competition), and the servings are sufficiently sized.

We were two 70-ish couples and selected this hotel for dinner one week-night due to the great reviews here. However, although we know it was listed as a Family Friendly hotel, we did not expect to find uncontrolled children running amok and banging on tables with the parents totally ignoring the disturbance to other customers. Foodwise the service was fairly...

Was a great meal but only one staff on duty and was run off her feet looking after about 40 guests. She done an excellent job doing it. It took about 20 mins for most of the guest to get their orders in. Not Good Enough.

We had a good pub meal here - chicken parmis and chips were good. Kids enjoyed it and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of people so I think we were lucky to get in as we hadn't booked. Just be aware it doesn't open until 6pm. We thought we'd get an early dinner but had to sit and...
