This was, for us, ideal. We were close to the town centre, and did walk there too. The facilities were great, and we enjoyed our stay. We found so much to do and see, and all relatively close to Kingscote. The location of the units is also quiet, with car parking at the front of the units. We used the barbeque, which was clean and ready to use. All in all, whilst this may not be 'top of the range' it certainly provided all we wanted and needed. Thank you.

Absolutely loved staying in this one bedroom unit in Kingscote. Comfortable bed and everything you could need is supplied including a washing machine, cooking facilities, plenty of travel brochures etc. Walking distance to a great fish and chip shop! No WiFi but get prepaid if you can't live without it. So much to do on KI without worrying about checking your email every five minutes. Watch out for this gem on Travel Auctions.

the unit we stayed in ( 2 ) was very spacious and acomadating for our needs ,there was enough of cups plates cutlery pots for at least 6 people ,,the unit was very clean indeed the lady who looks after the property ( carla ) was very polite and poleasent ,,the key to the property is left in key safe by main door which means easily access to the unit if you arrive earlie or late ( great idea ) ..the town is very close to units arounf 5 minutes walk ,and there are pleanty of walking trails ,,the only dowfall to kangaroo island is you must need a car to travell to some of the amazing areas they have on the island and maybe 4 wheel drive vechicle to some of the mosy spectacular beaches

Good location, nice grounds. Stayed in Unit 1, which I needed to clean when we arrived, very disappointed. Blinds in main bedroom didn't open. Rooms crowded with mismatched furniture, some of it is very shabby looking. Only one pillow for each person, no extras provided.

The accommodation is very dirty, furniture is dated and mismatched. There is no curb appeal. The shower simply feels "dirty". The sofa looks grubby. I emailed the owner advising the above, with photos and haven't even received a reply. Don't stay here!

My son and his girlfriend stayed here over Christmas 2021 and really enjoyed their stay, when we facetimed with them the unit looked great- however, I'm writing this review, not to remark on that, but to say what amazing customer service we received from Phil at the Units. He went out of his way to get my son and his girlfriend a bottle of wine and Christmas card as a surprise from myself and my husband, since we couldn't be with them due to the Covid restrictions! First class service and much appreciated!!!

Great self contained unit with everything we needed. Neat and tidy and very close to shopping and other facilities. Kingscote being the largest township on Kangeroo Island and only walking distance from the unit to shops and waterfront.Would recommend these units to stay in. The Owner very helpful with any queries.

Absolutely fantastic. Every basic item supplied including washing powder. Have our own Wi Fi so no issue with that. So clean and comfortable. So close to the town centre and a lovely walk along a very clean beach. Would highly recommend staying here

We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is within walking distance to the shops and beach. Key is left in a key safe by the door to accommodate late arrivals. We were especially impressed with the cleanliness of the unit and the very comfortable bed. The owners had given a lot of consideration to the needs of the traveller so one doesn't need to take anything extra than clothing and personal items.

Very clean unit, the best equipped kitchen ever excellent pots & pans clean cutlery, bathroom was newly renovated however a new rubbish bin would complete the job, There is no internet and I think that there is no excuse these days for any accommodation provider not to have it, replacing the TV after 20 years with a smart TV would enhance the accomodation especially if you stayed with kids
