Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Clean and very well appointed suites. Lots of provisions in fridge. Very quiet and only 30 metres to Riesling trail Close to Clare and wineries. Spa in bathroom. We will go back with friends. Having to have 200 characters for these reviews is silly.

Lovely private self contained luxury villas over looking a magnificent garden perfectly manicured. Quality fittings in a well designed classical manner. The bathroom has a huge spa, and gorgeous plant atrium to view while enjoying the spa Candles thoughtfully are placed around the spa to add ambience to your stay.

I went there for some peace and quiet so that I could take in an online symposium in China, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Russia and Hong Kong. As one of the organisers I wanted to be able to sit in very good accommodation, not have the internet drop in and out and be able to relax at the same time. The accommodation was first class, the suite was well-appointed, the bed was firm but really comfortable and the amenities excellent. I cannot fault Chris and Mick for providing such a quality product. There was even a bike hire facilities on the doorstep. I'd recommend Brice Hill to anyone who wanted that little bit 'extra' when looking for quality accommodation in the Clare Valley.

Like a home away from home. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Rooms well appointed and breakfast provisions were generous. Lovely in Winter with wood fire, would be equally as lovely in warmer weather. We walked to wineries and enjoyed the best of Clare. Really enjoyed our stay and everything that it offered. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed four nights, which I thought may be too long to spend in Clare. It was not. So relaxing the rooms were spotless and well stocked with everything you may need for breakfast and to lounge around. And a delicious bottle of Riesling to top it off. Well located on the Riesling Trail to bike to amazing cellar doors. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay. Thanks Chris for looking after us.

We booked and stayed in the Sevenhill Cellars suite At Brice Hill Country Lodge as we wanted something better than a motel room and wanted an open fireplace to enjoy. We took the gourmet package which worked out beautifully. Even though the weather was cold and sometimes wet, we were cosy and comfy. Breakfast provisions were very generous and we enjoyed taking a good while to enjoy this while looking out over the formal garden and the vineyard beyond. The Clare Valley is a great place to explore, good cafes and restaurants within a few minutes drive of Brice Hill. Great welcome and respect for privacy by lovely hosts.

The room was exactly as the photos show on the website. Just gorgeous. Very comfortable and the fire was great and warmed the cottage well. Breakfast supplies were amazing and plenty for the three mornings. Bacon and eggs two mornings, yoghurt and toast the third. The location was terrific. Riding from here was great. Travel either way and it is continuously slightly uphill so when you are tired and want to ride home it has the downward slope so made it easy. We sat outside on freezing days in the sun and had our coffee and relaxed. I really really enjoyed our break at Brice Hill Lodge.

We loved our stay at Brice Hill. The luxuriousness of the suite, the Paulett, had me literally jumping up and down with excitement. The provided food for brekky was great. The hosts were easily contactable via text. The spa was amazing, but some more specific instructions for setting that up, including an expected waiting time to fill the tub, would be helpful. We failed miserably at lighting the log fire, and despite the electric blanket, and the heating in the lounge area, it was difficult to keep warm on those cold winter nights. Perhaps the fire could be lit already to cater for incompetent people like ourselves. 😅 Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Brice Hill, and would recommend it to friends.

This is an accomodation gem in Clare. Expect to be pleasantly surprised, from the views, extra special touches and log fire, this is on our list to return to. Having stayed in Clare a few times before, it’s our expectation that the photo is better than the reality. However it was very pleasantly the opposite on this occasion. The suite was very spacious and the bathroom super. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

Lovely and well equipped cottages with a gorgeous view of the property. Excellent location, 5 (or less) minute drive to town. Option of cooking breakfast at the cottage as a generous brekky was catered. Very dedicated owners, we had a minor issue with the shower head and it was fixed straight away. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back.
