Very good flow of information & pick point for key etc.
Had fireplaces that were really welcoming.
We stayed during a big storm & the manager provided extra help & accommodation without any prompting. I thought in all my years of travelling this was refreshing touch.
Very grateful for that extra help.
The park is doing the right things limiting spaces & people plenty of signage & cleaning products sanitiser etc. I think they are doing all they can to provide a safe & pleasant stay in these difficult times.

Visited this park for 5 nights last week.
Was placed in the bush camp area. Just a rough area
Never again will I stay at the park in that area. It was a 5 minute walk to the toilet and showers. (They were quite clean and presented)
If they expect people to stay in this area they need to have a toilet block in a reasonable location to vans parked in the bush area.
If I were you I would make sure you are in the upper area where it is better presented and reasonable proximity to the ambulations

We stayed in a superior balcony cabin and loved it! The location is so central within the park and we love the lush grassed areas. The kids had fun on the bouncy pillow, at the playground and scooting around. Staff were welcoming and efficient and we love the location within Clare. It’s a well equipped cabin too with everything you need. An added bonus when traveling with toddlers is that the ladders to the bunks are removable - winning! My only concern is that the beds are rather soft and take some getting used to. We will be back again next year again.

A few negatives about this park that I wish I knew before booking. A majority of the sites are gravel so in the middle of summer this meant very dusty. We had to wash out our 5yo's eyes after a couple of small gusts of wind blew dust everywhere. The poor cleaners did a great job but due to the dusty gravel sites, especially near the dump point, the bathrooms were muddy, dusty and slippery not long after they were cleaned. There was also no mop and bucket with disinfectant in the bathroom facilities to mop out the shower stalls after being used. I showered with my little one each morning and many parents commented on how gross they were and there was no way for us to clean them before or after taking a shower. I've visited many parks recently and this is the only park where they haven't been provided. In todays current pandemic, I thought this was a huge oversight. There was hair everywhere from the previous nights showers. The other issue I had was when we grabbed our swimmers and headed to the pool only to count 42 people in the small backyard sized pool. We turned around, however, it was like this most of the weekend. The 2 amenities blocks are both located close together and the back of the park is being serviced by port potties and porta showers. Hopefully this means an upgrade may be planned. So much potential for the lovely Clare Valley but we were disappointed.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe cabin. Had everything we needed, play area is great for kids. Camp kitchen with fire for cooking marshmallows is large and there’s even pizza ovens! Laundry on site but bring washing powder and pegs. Little way out of town but plenty to do nearby.

Mid week getaway to Claire. Hired deluxe cabin suitable for six. Secured the accommodation at a South Aussie with Cossie special price. Instead of paying over $700 for three nights we paid $375. Beds comfortable and linen supplied. Kitchen fully equipped with supplies. Nice balcony with outdoor setting overlooking the grass and kids playground. Not too busy this time of year. Overall a pleasant stay with a “home away from home” feel.

+1
Stayed here for 3 nights in an economy cabin. The only thing economy about it was the size. It sported a really comfortable queen-size bed in the main bedroom and then there were two bunk beds in the hallway. The cabin is ideal for couples and at a push would also accommodate one-child. Beyond that go for a bigger and more expensive cabin The cabinwas quite old but hadbeen updated with new appliances brand new flat screen television updated shower room and furniture. It was impossible to fault and was freshly redecorated. The site facilities are superb.

Enjoyed our stay at this park, although it was not without its challenges. We (two vans) opted for the ease of drive-through sites, but this meant being closer to the main road and the consequent traffic noise (ear plugs a must). Both sites’ taps leaked and all four of us experienced problems with the WiFi. The amenities block, camp kitchen and laundry could all do with a make-over, but loved the BBQ pavilion with its massive fireplace and gas pizza ovens. Overall a pleasant, but not great, stay!
