What a fabulous place for a great getaway in the Clare Valley. We loved it all from the gorgeous glamping tent to the well set up shared camp kitchen where we gathered with fellow guests for drinks at sunset. The pool was a delicious respite on a hot day and you can't forget to mention the farm animals that love a pat and a snack at any time - special mention to 'Kevin Bacon' the pig.
Had a sneak peek at the Chook Cabins and they are just gorgeous if tenting isn't your thing.
Friendliest host ever award goes to Alison "Chook", nothing was too hard and her local recommendations made our getaway just fabulous.
Highly recommend this property 😍

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Burkirk Glamping and if was amazing! We stayed in the Silky tent and it was so light and breezy. The ensuite attached to the tent is an added bonus. Such a beautiful location, fantastic spacious tents, great winery’s nearby to visit and the owner (Chook) goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. We loved the common area where we could cook BBQ and the animals (Kevin Bacon - The Pig). We will definitely come stay again in the future. A great getaway and place to recharge after a busy year.

Was lucky enough to have a travel voucher to experience Bukirk and I must say it was bloody awesome! I stayed in the leghorn glamping tent and loved it. Chook was such a lovely and friendly host and made me feel so at home from the moment I pulled up and checked in. Highly recommend anyone to stay there as a couple, a single person or a group of friends. Loved the farm atmosphere and scenery along with the animals.

Will definitely be back again soon!! 🥂🧡

Surprised my husband with a mini break here for our 25th Anniversary. The moment I saw the place and his reaction, I knew I'd made a great decision. The owner, Alison, aka Chook, made us feel immediately welcome and showed us around and gave us info on things to do in Clare ie places to eat, best coffee etc. We then saw our tent which was totally awesome and had been decorated with a blackboard wishing us a Happy Anniversary with chocolates and tea lights. It was so lovely. The tent was very spacious and welcoming with rugs and a very effective heater and a gorgeous deck so we could watch the sunsets. Having your own ensuite just outside your tent was an absolute bonus as well. We just loved every minute we were here and can't wait to return

A fantastic trip away in Clare Valley at Bukirk. The glamping tent was fantastic with all the facilities finished to a high standard. The attached en-suite is perfect to feel fresh and get ready to go out for a day at the wineries. The site is great to wind down after a day out and the scenery is breathtaking. We had a great few days at bukirk as it was relaxed and you can keep to yourself or mingle with other travellers. The host is so helpful and assisted us to arrange ebike hire and suggested great places that we didn’t know even existed in the area, such as some fantastic cellar doors and eateries.
Overall, bukirk far exceeded our expectations. It was an experience that made the few nights away in the valley perfect.

We were lucky enough to spend an evening here early November, it was 8 degrees overnight but we’d never know from the campfire and amenities provided in the tent.
Welcomed to the properly by the roaming chickens and house pig we felt immediately relaxed.
The warm hospitality from Alison and Kevin (Bacon, the pig) were truly like an oasis. Arriving after an afternoon of wine tasting at Sevenhill Cellars (a host recommendation) we pulled up to the dart board for a game and relaxed on the lounge chairs. Alison was kind enough to ‘teach’ me how to get the fire going, really she did the hard yakka but I keep the tips she gave me in my mind for my next attempt in the wild.
The communal kitchen is clean and stacked with boards for your cheese, purpose built knives and wine glasses, we opted to cook our own dinner on their BBQ which worked out very well.
The joined bathroom that is entirely yours for the stay was a total luxury - hot water on demand after a night in a luxurious tent really recharged the body and mind.
Don’t delay your booking - you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed in one of the bell tents with a king bed, which was probably the most romantic option. The tents are pretty well decked out and there are some minibar provisions, but you'll need to bring some food items for proper meals unless you plan on noshing into the many places to eat in Clare Valley. The location is very close to many popular wineries and the Reisling Trail and that's the best way to spend your day before coming back to watch the sunset. Each tent has an en suite, power and there is a communal kitchen. You're so well taken care of that you can relax, talk to your partner and really enjoy your time in each other's company.

This is the third time we have stayed at Bukirk. Our first stay was when Bukirk first opened up. It was small, homely, and had everything we needed. The accomodation was superb, everything we needed and more. Chook is the absolute best, always accomodating and dry approachable. After a few years which we have watched on Facebook the changes happening to Bukirk we were finally able to go back for another visit. Wow!!!! What a change!!!! What chook has achieved in the last few years and with battling the covid pandemic , is unbelievable. The ammenities are outstanding, the fire pit to sit around, the wood fire in the camp kitchen, pizza oven to use. The tents are fabulous with all the added extras in there. Nice and cozy with a heater. We stayed in the star gazing tent which was outstanding. Laying in bed watching the stars was so peaceful. Drifting off to sleep with the sound of the sheep in the paddock and the stars above was serene. Whilst Bukirk may have expanded with more tents and cabins they are still placed far enough away that you feel you have the place to your own. It still has the charm and uniqueness which drew me to staying there for our first visit. Our stay was in May so it was cold but come summer you can lounge by the pool which is a new addition.
We will definitely be back again and will try out the new cabins that look stunning.

We have visited Bukirk Glamping multiple times. Bukirk is a 5 star glamping experience in the Clare Valley. Chook (the owner) is amazing and has a wealth of knowledge on the Clare Valley and will always guide you in experiences available to suit individual needs. The tents are of a high standard and the communal kitchen and fire pit is an amazing space to meet new friends whilst enjoying a wine and toasting marshmallows. The coops offer a standard of accommodation like no other and are great value. Waking up to seeing the animals on the property, warms my heart. We will definitely be returning as each time our visit creates new memories.
