Detailed Reviews
This van park is quite large. The facilities are solid, and clean. The park grounds are not well kept. There is a bar operating at the reception. They also have a book exchange. It is just on the edge of town so only a few minutes drive to the business area. However, given that the charge is the same as Big4 just down the street, I think it is over charged for the condition of the park. It is also the case the web site for this park indicates a lower price than what was charged. However, it is quiet (given this is school holidays). If you want quiet then this is ok. It is not inconvenient to access town.

We had this Caravan Park recommended to us by my in-laws, who have stayed here a few times before. At first we had a giggle on arrival (thinking of the movie, Castle) as we are in viewing distance of the local airport, 24 hour a day freight train line, and the main highway (road trains galore!). HOWEVER, we extended our stay due to bad weather (thinking it's safer to stay put than tow our big caravan in rough weather). Since arriving in Ceduna we've seen the other caravan parks, and would DEFINITELY prefer to stay in this one if we get back to Ceduna any time. Here we could drive straight through in a VERY spacious site (the other places are packed in like sardines). The amenities block is very clean (we choose to use that rather than our own shower and toilet) and any road/plane/traffic noise is STILL less noisy and intrusive than being in a busy town centre. The only down side I can see (for families, we're a couple in our fifties) is that we're probably the youngest people in the park, and there's not much here for families/children to do. There's a Big 4 nearby which probably caters better for families (I can NEVER resist bouncing on the Big 4 trampoline thingies if we stay at one of those, much to the amusement/amazement of some of the children I see). I just read two negative reviews from people who stayed in cabins here. I can't comment on that style of accommodation, except to say that we saw the owner/manager cleaning two cabins near us yesterday. He spent the whole morning going back and forth cleaning them, among his other many other jobs. He owns and runs the park himself. Finally, we've met a LOT of people here who are regular visitors. The one fee ($30 per night when we stayed) covers enough room for their car, boat AND caravan. Some of them leave their vans or boats here when they go home ($3 per day to leave them here).

We stayed here on a powered site its pay and pick your own site as it wasnt full. It is very outdated but clean. The amenities block is VERY old but its kept clean it does have a pool but avoid using it.
There is road noise and train noise but if you can overlook that great spot to stop the night before hitting the nullabor.

I don’t like rubbishing someone’s business, but if you want clean then don’t stay here. The cabin was filthy - everywhere, the final straw being the pubic hair all over the bathroom sink and floor. We slept in our clothes and left at first light. My husband and I actually cried with relief when we found somewhere else to stay.

A great place to spend a night. Steve the manager is a straight shooter and there’s a nice little bar and pool tables. It’s a bit out of town but in a small town that’s not much more than a stroll to the beach. For the hot days the pool is a great addition.
Cheers for the hospitality!!

+1
We stayed here for one night in avid get room and would never stay again or recommend it . We did have to use our own bedding which I was aware of and glad that was the case after seeing the place, but I did expect it to be clean 😡. All the cupboards, fridge, microwave and wall in kitchen was splattered with food and dirty hand prints on handles and doors. The dishes had dried food and dust on them ,the floor looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped. The shower hadn't been scrubbed and the toilet was disgusting . Didn't use the shower at all and there were cob webs and spiders around the inside of the Windows .All I was after was a clean room to sleep and cook in I didn't think it was to much to ask for .So be WARNED DI NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A CLEAN ROOM .Refer to my photos 😡

The man at reception was courteous and said we could pick our own powered site. All the other caravan parks were fully booked, but this one had room available. The amenities block was clean, although a little dark inside; but had a good supply of hot water. WiFi is available but only works if you are within 10 metres of the office.

This place might look a bit old and be next to light industry and an airport, but it is clean and very well looked after. The bathrooms are fine and kept clean as is the laundry. One washing machine ate my money for nothing and the manager refunded me with no issues. Stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed the space. Only a short drive to town.
