We booked in on the way to Maralinga and again we repeated the booking because the Park was ultra clean, quiet, well resourced, with friendly and helpful staff and well located. We stayed in the cabins, which were warm and more than adequate.

This was our second stay on our way back to Adelaide. Friendly efficient service. The ensuite on the powered site was very clean and "luxurious" compared to others we have encountered. Would have no hesitation staying there again. Wayne B.

Cabin was good. Quite large for cabin accomodation. Cabin park was separate from main caravan park. Main park is a bit old and dated. Staff welcome was average. All a bit"Ohh humm, so so.. " attitude. Would rather stay at Ceduna Foreshores park. Much nicer ambience.

The customer service was spot on from the time I walked in. The cabin that I stayed in was a 10/10. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this place place to my friends and family

Thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days there. Ablutions were spotless and the whole grounds were well kept. Thankyou, being from WA if we come back this way again will definitely come back to your park.

Found a mouse inside the cabin. Mouse poo was found under the cushions of the sofa. Staff was inhuman and rude, refused to clean the cabin nor give another one. Stranded with two young kids. Never visit this place with kids!!!

Response from Caroline Strathern, Owner at BIG4 Ceduna Tourist Park
Responded 3 weeks ago
Dear Imara, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We would like to take this opportunity to try and clarify our side. We completely understand your concern with regards to the mouse and we would like to assure you that we routinely monitor and take proactive measures to avoid all forms of pests, although even with these measures there is never 100% guarantee that we can avoid all pests. With this being said, we were very willing and offered to come straight to the cabin and give it a thorough clean to ensure there was no more mouse evident. When you were unwilling for us to come and do this and advised you felt your children wouldn't be safe, although if we offered a discount you would feel better about the situation, we did not feel this would be the right solution and that our park perhaps wasn't the right fit for your stay in Ceduna. We therefore offered you a full refund of your accommodation and felt you would be happier in an alternative accommodation. With regards to the inhuman and rudeness you speak about, I believe you are referring to to the questions asked on arrival. By law we must ask the guests registration and how many people will be staying in the cabins/ sites. If there was a fire and we only logged 2 people in a cabin when there were in fact 3, not only would we be seen to be at fault, the 3rd person may go unaccounted for in an evacuation. When we asked you this question and you said 2 people, we could see there was a 3rd in the car, therefore we do not feel we were being rude or inhuman by confronting the fact we had been lied to about the number of occupants in the cabin. Once again, we thank you for the feedback and truly hope you have a safe and enjoyable onward journey. Kind regards, BIG4 Ceduna Management Team

Very accommodating staff, had booked ensuite, powered site but lost that when we had to change dates so we were put next to new and very clean facilities in the extremely spacious park. Loved the herb garden in a boat.

The cabin we stayed in was exceptionally clean and well laid out and well supplied with cooking / eating requirements. The communal areas in the park were also spotlessly clean - we used the BBQ area and the fish cleaning area. The grounds in general were lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful.

We spent three nights at BIG4 Ceduna Tourist Park. Clean, tidy and the hot showers were one of the best experienced so far in our “discover SA trip”. Our site had plenty of shade and allowed awning extension without having to install anti flap assistance. The herb garden near the Camp Kitchen was a nice touch. This is an older BIG4 Site however the enthusiastic office staff took their time in identifying the easiest way to access the chosen site for us (not that experienced in reversing caravans). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others
