Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The cabins are in a decent park area and I stayed in one of the more basic ones which appeared to be made out of a shipping container! It did have a little verandah at front though and was clean inside. No room for anything other than two beds and a fridge though.
Unfortunately the kettle didn't work, which we did get replaced, but the hot water was cold and the lamp in room didn't work.
It's not far from centre but a bit too far to walk in the heat!
The guy at reception was friendly and helpful but think this place needs a bit if a tidy up and some basic repairs here and there. It was a cheaper option though.

My brother and I stayed here for a night while travelling between Sydney and Western Australia. Good choice.
We got a perfectly adequate twin room for $65, which I thought was terrific value. (The room actually had a double and two singles, so you could accommodate more people but they might charge more money in that event.)
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is shortish walk from the shoreline (roughly a par 5, I would say) and the shops and eating places are on the way.

We were lucky to be upgraded as uncertain to what the other accommodation would be like. Our accommodation was far from modern but was spacious and had all we needed.
Staff was very friendly. Location very good.
Surrounded caravan parks looked much more modern however hard to argue with the price we paid.
Certainly didn’t stop us enjoying our stay in Ceduna.

Dungos are not cabins - misleading. Don’t be fooled by the photos as they do not accurately depict the true state of these dwellings. Not clean. Old and run down. Will not return. I paid to stay elsewhere coz I could not bear the thought of staying there.

A1 Cabins is an oxymoron. Admittedly I stayed at a cabin at the bottom of the price range, BUT sometimes you expect possibly a fraction more than what you pay for, sadly I was disappointed. The cabin was shabby, the water tap in the sink didn't work, the TV was not connected, the table had a big hole in it, the air conditioner had a towel under it to stop it rattling , the chairs looked like they came outta "Scrbbles Cafe" what with all the names and dates scrawled on them, the ladder up to top bunk had rungs missing and so to sleep in the top one I would have had to be Spiderman or a ninja.
The toilet and shower block was worse than Fukuyama after the accident.
But in saying all of the above........ it served a purpose, it saved me setting up the tent.

We were moving our family from Perth to Tasmania, obviously as a family doing this big move we were conscious of our bank account, though, we never expected something so "budget". We got in at 8pm having done a massive day on the road, we had 2 very tired little girls (6 and 8) and my fiance also very exhausted, i wanted them all in bed and to get a good nights sleep for the next big day of driving ahead through to Adelaide, what we got was horrible, we were greeted at the front desk by someone who could not spell "dollars" properly, also smelling like a sewer rat and looked rather, stoned? Drunk? The screen door of our cabin once had fly screen up but at this point it was ripped and didnt lock, the beds looked "shagged" litterally!. All the furniture was out of date and dirty, the hand basin in the sink of the bathroom had cigarette marks on it where prior guests had obviously smoked and dabbed out their smoke ends on the basin, the shower curtain had mould. Basically i would rather have had kept my family in a tent. It would have been cleaner and probably safer. Needless to say, we didnt enjoy our stay here. Cheers though.

Checked in by someone who smelt like they had had a liquid lunch. Was greatful that they kept an upgraded room for us because accomodation was very basic.
Cabin was spacious but not clean or in working order.
Not sure I would recommend this environment for families.

stayed in a self contained cabin while we had mechanical repairs done on our van. Budget accommodation but the cabin was clean and had everything you could want. Staff were very friendly and Dave was very helpful. Double bed, single bed and a fold down lounge, microwave, full size fridge, large screen TV and reverse cycle aircon. Linen included. Ensuite bathroom. Laundry on site. Close to town, walking distance and pet friendly, what a bonus for us as we had our two dogs and were stranded. The other caravan park was quite a distance from town and far more expensive.
