Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My son and I overnighted here before heading to Gordon Country for a day of four wheel driving with Isuzu.

Check-in was straightforward and the proprietor friendly and helpful. Although the room was just opposite reception she walked over with me, opened the door and pointed out the features of the room.

It's a standard small motel room, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The bathroom had been nicely renovated recently. Good lighting for shaving if required.

A bit of road noise was audible but this stopped early into the evening. Beds were comfortable and we both slept really well.

I would stay there again although I do try to stay different places each time.

A clean well run hotel with all you need for an overnight stay in Warwick. Room is well stocked with plenty of things to keep you warm including blankets and hot chocolate sachets. Breakfast option is cold breakfast packs. Very friendly host who takes you to your room on arrival.

Clean and comfortable hotel which worked well for our family. Room was small but good value. I would suggest adding some plates and knives to use with the supplied toaster. Even though motel was full it was quiet with easy access to all town amenities.

I would not recommend this motel. It was a 38 degree day and the aircon was not at all up to cooling the room. The decor was pure 70s. There are plenty of other better options in Warwick. It reminded me of the motel in the movie “No Country For Old Men”

Response from Sandra Nolan, Owner at Buckaroo Motor Inn
Responded 30 Jan 2024
It's unfortunate that the entire Darling Downs had a heatwave during your 2 night stay, with temps feeling like 41c. As a courtesy your air-con was on prior to your arrival for your comfort. The AC has been tested and is in good working order as it is maintained on a regular basis. If reception had been advised during your stay, we may have been able to assist in some way.

How good was it to find this motel, and mine host Sandra. What a fantastic experience with A very warm welcome, lovely clean rooms and nothing appeared to be a problem with the four couple’s requests. Sandra answered them all. Change of towels and washes was a lovely gesture after one night.
Her recommendations were spot on and very much appreciated.
Look forward to returning soon.

Definitely not a major city hotel. But great for a nice stay in Wawrick. The care taker was very helpful and lovely and even came in to show us how to turn on everything. Very good facilities and even had an electric blanket for those freezing warwick mornings!
