Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I have stayed at the Jackie Howe twice now and found it to be good value and being located at the end of the main street and off the highway it is quiet and an easy flat walk to the CBD. It is an older motel but the rooms are spotless, well equipped with a Queen bed, table and chairs as well as a work bench with 2 chairs, and a modern bathroom.
Carol and her daughter are excellent hosts, friendly, welcoming and happy to help in any way they can. The breakfasts were excellent, large hot serves and delivered on time.
We will be staying again.

Really tidy little motel. Reception friendly. In our room all the furniture was in good condition with fresh new bathroom facilities. The outside looks like it needs a new paint but couldn’t say anything negative about the inside of the room. Across the road is a little pub/club/games room and easy flat walking distance to middle of town about a 10 minute walk. Very happy with our overnight stay.

We stayed one night at this motel and will definitely be back again. Spotlessly clean, renovated bathroom and overall a room in good condition. The bed was excellent, the complex quiet and a short walk into town, local pubs and RSL. The Manager was super friendly and helpful and is a definite asset to this business.
The locals need the visitors to get them through what is still a very difficult time in tourism and you won't be disappointed with the value for money if you stay here.

We have sent our team of workers to stay in this motel.

One of the rooms smelt like dog poo! This person was then moved to another room with no hot water!

The rest of the team of workers were put into two double rooms of which smelt musty and horrible.,

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone particularly for business purposes!

Had just left a motel around the road at 8.30pm due to the state of the sheets. Pulled up and management was fantastic, turns out we had stayed there before. Told her of our prior experience and why we were there so late and she couldn’t be more helpful. Gave us a room straight away at a discounted rate. The room was clean, tidy and great value for money!!! Management even came to our room 10 minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was ok. Will definitely stay here again.

This motel is on our favorites list, as we stay here around 6 times per year. Always friendly and helpful and nothing changed last week-end. Covid had the business almost on it's knees last year, but it has bounced back and great to see the occupancy rate over the week-end .... almost back to normal. A clean place and great rates. Thoroughly recommend it.

Postives, brilliant location. The three bedroom unit is spacious.
Negatives, dirty and dusty. Our feet and our socks were left black after walking on the carpet and the dust was piled high. Dust was hanging off the roof, around the walls, and on the windows.

We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are quite basic, but that was all we needed. Fairly quiet location. Told them they didn't need to service our room every morning, but they still done it anyway lol. Would have to be one of the least expensive motels in town. Would stay there again.

This motel is located at the end of the main street of Warwick (cnr Palmerin and Victoria) which means it is located away from the highway traffic and trucks. It would take maybe 7-10 minutes to walk into the centre of town.

The room was quite reasonably sized - better than you'd expect for a 3 star motel. The bathroom had a spa bath which is the reason for paying $115 instead of $90 for the night - this was the only room left when we checked in. It was a nice bathroom for a three star motel. On check out we were told the room was bigger than others also, so you might consider spending the little extra worthwhile.

The restaurant wasn't open (looks like it is only for functions), however this wasn't a problem as we were directed to the Horse and Jockey Motel across the street and had a nice - pub food - meal.

Warwick is worth a visit for an overnight stay, the town is fairly old and has a few hoistoric buildings, such as the court house, and a fine cathedral. However overnight on the way to somewhere else should do it.
