It is near, but not in, Warwick in case that is an issue (wasn't for us). The bed was extremely comfortable and we upgraded to a beautiful room (#6) with a "fake" fire (lovely), gorgeous soaking tub and good-sized ensuite. It also had its own verandah. Breakfast (not included) was a big disappointment. Friend had continental which was rather sparse. I paid $20 for full breakfast and ordered an omelette which was overcooked and extremely disappointing. Also, only came with salad (odd) -- even a grilled tomato would have helped. When we booked and got confirmation, we were not told that you could eat dinner there BUT had to give 24-hour notice. We have struck that before and it's no problem. HOWEVER, because we were not told in confirmation, we did not know this was an option. Therefore, we were disappointed and sought dinner downtown to very little variety. I can't comment on WiFi as, while it was apparently available in a few common areas, it wasn't available in rooms. The common areas (other than summer porches on room level) only consisted of the dining room and a chapel (building was formerly an Abbey). I'm not sure where you would sit (comfortably) and use the wifi.

We spent two luxurious nights here and what a welcoming place it is. Our hostess, Sonia, made our stay here a delightful time. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. On arrival we enjoyed a cheese platter on the verandah. We stayed in the Victoria room and the beds were super comfortable. Both nights we dined in the restaurant here and the lamb shank and steak were beautifully cooked. It’s so lovely to wake up and step into such a peaceful and beautifully decorated mansion. The rooms are stunning with four poster beds in some, beautiful drapes, chandeliers and antique lounges. The gardens are a treat with a rotunda covered in sweet smelling jasmine. We even got a visit from Basil the cat who guards the place! This is accommodation like no other and is a wonderful retreat for a few days. Absolute peace and quiet. We left feeling so refreshed. Thanks everyone for making our stay a joy.

We can’t wait to come back! We’re in room 5 & the 4 poster bed & decor is just lovely. We come out into a communal balcony which is a delight to sit and have a cup of tea. All around the Abbey there is the history of the place written up. It was a Nunnery & a boarding school and now a hotel. The owners are lovely. You know the eggs are fresh, & the chickens free range, as they running around the Abbey grounds. It’s just lovely. The wall as thick sandstone and just an architectural delight. Warwick has some great things to do and see, so stay more than 1 night.

This is a lovely building and great to visit but im not sure I would stay again. The owners were welcoming and very friendly but the room was small, although it accurately matched the description when I booked. The private bathroom was down the corridor from the room but was clean and well equipped. I found the bed a tad hard and didn't sleep well either night I was here. The community areas were closed due to COVID (understandable). I just found it a bit overpriced for what we actually got.
