What a lovely location. Outlook of the water and a short stroll to the beach. the facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to include breakfast in the package we had and each morning go over the road to the cafe for breakfast. There are 2 pools to choose from - one in the sun, or one well shaded. Beautiful outlook.

This apartment was booked through a travel agent and can say it’s the first place I’ve ever stayed that is better in real life than it looks in the brochure, the apartment had 2 balcony’s and open plan living room/dinner/kitchen, comfy bed and bathroom with huge bath and separate shower. The balcony has a view over the lagoon and is the most tranquil place to sit in the morning with a coffee, the reception staff were lovely and really helpful when I needed help with a couple of trips I had booked and with an umbrella when it was raining. Great few days in a tropical paradise

We selected this resort for a-5-day holiday based on good Trip Advisor reviews and an attractive accommodation charge. We arrived after Reception closed for the day but instructions enabled easy entry to a 1-bedroom apartment at ground level in Block 2. First impressions were pleasing with a great layout and spotlessly clean areas throughput. We loved the number of GPO's available in all areas. The rooms had very large wooden ceiling fans together with efficient air conditioners. Storage facilities were excellent. The refrigerator was much larger than average and contained a full container of nice cold water, We had complete access to the pool from our unit with a Gym across from our front door.. The shower recess was large and open making usage very easy. We did not use a lot of units such as the oven and hot plates, dish washer, laundry washing machine and drier but all were in excellent condition. We could walk to the beach and ate some meals in that area. the location enabled us to spend time at all the other northern beach area.
Reception had a tourist booking area with a large range of brochures describing tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked our stay through Luxury escapes and went for a VIP upgrade 1 bedroom apartment. I would rate our room as OK definitely not VIP.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Full kitchen and lounge area. Large bathroom with good shower and washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately the bed was quite uncomfortable, definitely past its use by date. There was a bright light outside our room that the timber blinds did little to block making the room very bright at night. Also we were right next to the dual lane road and traffic noise was very loud at all hours, I was quite surprised that there was so much traffic in the area, so I did not sleep well at all for our 5 night stay.

There were 2 balconies that were well appointed but due to traffic noise and someone near us always smoking it made sitting outside very unpleasant.

There were a number of local restaurants that were very good, especially recommend the Italian restaurant where you receive a 10% discount when you mention you are staying at the Blue Lagoon.

We only met 1 member of staff and I am sorry but cannot remember her name but she was extremely helpful with suggesting and booking tours.

I think the words VIP and Luxury escapes raised my expectations but all we really received was a bottle of red wine and a late check out for the same price anyone else would have paid. Probably more suited to families rather than couples.

My partner and I checked in for 3 nights in June 2022- what a huge mistake!
We unfortunately arrived late at Blue Lagoon Resort. I say unfortunate because we had no other option other than to stay 1 out of the 3 nights we were booked in for.
The shower did not work (see video), the room was FILTHY (especially the bed with it’s disgusting stains, we were unsure that the sheets were even changed between guests), amenities were faulty and dated but worst of all was the manager.
After staying for one night we couldn’t have been out of there quick enough. After raising our concerns with the manager (who picked up 2 calls during our conversation- such poor customer service) she advised us that she would not be providing us a refund as the photos online reflect that of the room. This could not be further from the truth. She ‘kindly’ offered to have the shower issue looked at- honestly appalling that she did not have this fixed prior to our arrival as it just added to the horrific ambience of the place. You literally cannot use the hot water. You can either have a scolding hot shower or ice cold, there is no in between.

On top of that the manager was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. We regret not reading more thoroughly through the reviews online.

I have nothing to gain out of writing this review my only hope is that other people don’t suffer the same experience we did.

We stayed for a week at this resort. It was exceptionally clean and in a great location. A couple of minutes walk from the beach, 20 min from Central Cairns. Our two bedroom apartment had everything we wanted. The kitchen was so well equipped with plenty of crockery and all the bits and pieces you need to cook a meal such as can-openers and graters.
Our room was on level 4 which has a spectacular view over the infinity pool. It was also high enough to catch the breeze so despite being 30+ degrees we just left the windows open without air con and it was very comfortable.
The management was also extremely helpful before we arrived as I had my elderly dad with us and they provided a great room for him that was easy to access and comfortable.
My son loved the pools and the visiting wallabies
Highly recommended

Just perfect .. Stayed at Amanda’s place - air b n b - was easy to book and check in worked well after hours too.

The whole complex was neat and tidy and our room couldn’t have been better; a beautiful balcony view overlooking the swimming pool and waterside lake.

The room itself was clean and had all required cooking and other amenities including wash and dry clothes facilities. (although we didn’t use those).

The king size bed was super comfy and we slept really well, as the place was so quiet at night.

Access to restaurants and convenience stores - walking distance and we used the Uber car service which was very reasonably priced.

Big thanks to Stacie and Mandy at reception who were extremely helpful with booking our day trip to Smithfield and Kuranda market (via sky rail and Kuranda train ride) . Highly recommend these two outings as well.

Will definitely be back.

Happy trails. 🏄‍♂️ 💦

We recently stayed 7 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment which had a great view over the pool and the lagoon. The rooms are well equipped with everything you could possibly need including baking dishes and even glad wrap and foil!
We found it very quiet and comfortable and the apartments are very clean and spacious.
The pool, bbq facilities gardens are beautifully maintained and I loved my early morning walks around the lagoon.
Overall a great stay and we would highly recommend!
Thanks Blue Lagoon !

First stay at blue lagoon resort and for that fact Trinity Beach. We liked that it was much quieter than Palm Cove yet still big enough for eateries.
The resort was very nice with two pools one that is heated which is a real bonus as we went up north last year in May and the pools were freezing.
We stayed in a studio room facing the lagoon which was very clean and comfortable the only concern for us was the air conditioning was out of action on day six of our stay so we only had the ceiling fan to keep cool at night.
The management we very good about it but I think if we were staying more than a few more days I would have asked to be moved as sleeping was very uncomfortable for those last nights.
Overall grounds are very nice short walk to restaurants and great location have booked again for later this year.

Hubby and I spent a few nights at Blue Lagoon while on holidays with our adult children recently. Our initial experience was not fantastic as we arrived into Trinity Beach very late (actually more like very early morning) and we could not get the 24hr check in intercom to work. We tried the after hours number and the emergency number as well all to no avail, unfortunately. This meant we could not gain access to our apartment until the next morning when Reception opened. Thankfully my son lives nearby so he picked us up and we slept on his floor for the night.
However, we checked in without any further hassles first thing the next morning. Mandy, the Manager, was a gem & got us sorted ASAP. She offered us a refund for the previous night, but we ended up just extending our stay for another night instead of taking a refund (& so glad we did). From here on in the rest of the stay was great!
The apartment was on the ground floor with direct pool access. It was well equipped, cool, comfortable &, most importantly to me, very clean. We made ourselves at home and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blue Lagoon.
Mandy was friendly & happily assisted us to book a reef tour, recommended things to do, steered us clear of the things she would not recommend & was just a gem, when we needed her.
As well as being well quipped & clean with friendly service & great facilities, Blue Lagoon is also very well positioned close to the beach & restaurants. And as an added bonus a lot of the local restaurants offer 10% discount if you are staying at Blue Lagoon!
We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Trinity Beach.

We stayed in block no.1 can't remember the number on the ground floor in the middle room with the balcony that lets you get strait into the pool please ask the reception staff for the room Ernests had. There is no food outlet at the resort so you do not have a problem but can get some within a 5 to 15 mts walk, if you phone the Trinity Beach Tavern and they will send a free bus to pick you and take you straight to their Tavern. Hope this helps.. Derek.

A one bedroom apartment has better space and a kitchen. Definitely better than a studio. Ask for the ones around the pool as the ones near the restaurants are very noisy. You will love it there , its a great place to stay. Check out the wallabies on dusk, a treat for overseas visitors and locals!
