Travelled to have a family holiday, finally after 2 years unable to travel, with daughter & her family, staying in separate apartments. Great location, close to walking beach, restaurants and not as busy as Cairns or Palm Cove. Gardens and pool area kept in excellent condition and shaded pool area great for families with children. Balcony nice with a lovely lookout over the pool area and a bit of beach. The apartment, whilst roomy was very dated, with a good paint job and upgrade badly needed. We stayed in apartment 37, asked for the fans to be cleaned so we could use, on the second day of our stay, which didn't happen while we were there. The queen size bed was extremely uncomfortable, old mattress with foam topper over which did nothing for comfort. The TV remote in the bedroom, did not work well, lounge room chairs were old and uncomfortable, and one of them is actually broken. Bathrooms are most dated, where one toilet cistern had been replaced, the holes in the wall and paintwork around where old cistern was had not been patched and painted. Promote Nespresso Coffee machines in each apartment, so we took our coffee pods with us, unfortunately, the Nespresso machine in our apartment did not work, the top would not close where you put in the pods. Most kitchen utensils and crockery really need to be updated. Underground car park is good, however, with no lifts you are left to carry everything up stairs, which is okay for the younger ones but would not recommend for older people or people with health and mobility limitations. As we upgraded to a superior apartment, we expected it to be more up to date and better cared for. We had a better view of the pool for our upgrade. I would just hope that the owners, and all are individually owned, took better care of their investment that they want people to pay good money to stay there. We stayed for 10 nights, and no housekeeping was done, they promote weekly housekeeping, therefore we had to try to keep our towels dry by hanging them on a rusty airer. For a holiday resort, and during peak holiday times, reception hours over the Easter long weekend were disappointing to say the least. Approx 1.5 hours of reception, not good enough. I don't like leaving bad reviews, however, despite the great location, gardens and pool area, we will not be returning to this resort.…
Lovely location, gardens and pool were really nice BUT the room was filthy. Stains all over the furniture, cupboards smelt of old fish, cutlery dirty, bathroom was tired and grubby. Nothing a really good clean couldn’t fix but it’s not good enough to arrive to this. We coped and put things down to sit on the couch but management seriously need to look at the cleaning.
Great location in Trinity Beach. The apartment had everything I needed for a week's stay. Undercover parking, lovely pool and garden area and friendly staff. Warning that there are no lifts so if this is an issue look elsewhere. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.
Stayed for business, the wifi was very unreliable. The room is very tired. The front desk totally unhelpful and borderline rude. Needed to extend checkout for 2 hours and was charged for half the rate over $120.00 would absolutely NOT recommend staying here.
We've had the fortune of being able to stay at a room that's directly overlooking the ocean. It was absolutely amazing! The sound of the waves at night really helps soothes the nerves. We also visited at a time where the temperature/humidity is just right when we sleep with our windows open to let in the ocean breeze. The resort had a nice well-kept garden. The host was also very friendly and helped introducing/booking tours that suited our requirements. The host also provided detailed suggestions of local attractions, scenic drives as well as discount vouchers for us to use. Overall, this is a place we really enjoyed staying out.
