We booked the hotel last minute as we had to cancel all other travel plans due to the covid 19 situation. We were given a rooftop upgrade. The room was beautiful, modern and just the right size for 2 of us. There was a washer and dryer in the bathroom, with complimentary washing powder. In the kitchenette there was everything we needed to make meals etc. We had a balcony with partial sea view. On the rooftop itself there is a mineral plunge pool and a hot tub that was lovely to relax in. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, the cleaners were polite. Overall it was a wonderful stay and can't wait to hopefully return in a couple of years time

Me and my 14 year old son stayed at The Beach Club for 6 nights and we loved everything about our stay! I requested two single beds for our bedroom and the office staff were so obliging.. Our one bedroom apartment was modern with gorgeous furniture and a new kitchen. Even though there was no oven we got by using the hot plates and microwave. The kitchen cupboards were well stocked with pots, pans, and everything you need to cook. I really didn’t miss anything that I had at home because everything was there to be used. The dishwasher and aircon were great and I took advantage of the washing machine and dryer in our apartment. The balcony was generous in size but we didn’t use it too much because it was hot and humid outside... we used the pool everyday and it was so nice relaxing and drying off on the lounge chairs.. we loved loved loved the magnesium plunge pool and we spent ages in there.. the spa was also part of our daily routine.. the whole rooftop area was beautiful and we had a bbq dinner one night and watching a magnificent sunset. It was a fantastic stay for us and I couldn’t fault it in any way.

The apartment was advertised as having ocean views. This was very inaccurate. There were only a couple of ocean glimpses between buildings (see attached photo). We were not sent instructions about how to access the apartment and the office was closed on our arrival, which meant we had to wait for an hour in the car park until we could reach someone. They gave us a $30 voucher for the surf club and allowed us to have a late check-out.

We arrived and immediately had to call out of service as reception was closed(not a problem as they were aware of our arrival and had put the keys aside) once we went into the room, we were hit by an immediate bad smell, we could not determine where this come from however, I suggested that it may have been due to the apartment potentially not being used during the current pandemic however, there were no excuses for the standard of the room, hairs, un vacuumed carpets, mould at the back of the sink.
We again called out of service and were told that it would take an hour for the cleaner to come and rectify. As it was evening and we were only staying one night. We declined the offer and decided that we would manage for the night.
We explained this to the receptionist on check out and provided her with photos, she told us that she would email us back once she had investigated. We never did receive this email so my wife emailed back after 5/6 days. The reply read “Hi, what do you want from us?”
Good customer service and an apology for not keeping her word and replying would have been adequate however, we yet again replied and have still not received any reply and doubt that we will.
I am very disappointed with the standard of accommodation, the cleanliness but most importantly the lack of communication and customer service. We stayed in four different apartments during our holidays and all others(which were the same price) was so much more presentable and most importantly clean.

These apartments are in a great location and have the potential to be so much better. Unfortunately, the potential is severely being let down. I will not and would not Recommend this place.

Hi Jamie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Yes, we did offer for housekeeping to come and rectify the complaints you had however this was declined by yourself. Upon check out yes I did say I would follow up with housekeeping (which was followed through) and apologised and thanked you for your understanding. The email was not quite as stated above. I gave you the opportunity to express what you would like us to do to assist in rectifying how you were disappointed in your stay and what we could do to help. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and delivering a holiday experience our guests enjoy and therefore return. I apologise if we let you down on your expectations.

Pretty average apartment, does the job. Apartment was probably only surfaced cleaned (wiped down with dirty cloths) things just seemed greasy or had that damp smell. Furniture in apartment are cheap flat pack furniture which aren’t sturdy at all. Our whole stay we had cold water, ran the water for 20+ minutes everyday and still nothing so that wasn’t nice with a 2 year old and during a rainy weekend, reception was never opened to ask about it. Location is great close to the main drag and beach which we absolutely loved. Overall in my honest opinion I would pay the extra money to stay elsewhere.

Pros: Good location, quite clean

Cons: Broken toilet seat, cold shower, TV in bedroom didn't work, poor sound insulation, bedroom and bathroom were cold (no heating unit). We tried the shower at peak and off peak times. No hot water on either occasion. The reception and common areas are in a state of total disrepair, with missing tiles and the main entrance is cordoned off. There doesn't seem to be ongoing contruction work, so I think this is just due to neglect. Reception was closed with a note saying to push keys under a door on checkout. The room was quite dated, though this can be the case elsewhere in Mooloolaba too. This is a very poor choice compared to other options in Mooloolaba.

Hi Chris, Thank you for your review. The building is currently having the front entrance and lobby areas renovated. On weekends there is no construction work however week days we have several trades onsite. This works will be completed for the upcoming school holidays. Cant wait to see the finished result! Reception is currently closed on Sundays however the phone on the reception desk is there to contact staff if required which is details in the note you mentioned. It also explains out key drop box located in the carpark. We have several unit types to choose from our value units to our superior units. These vary in price pending the unit type. All units have reverse cycle aircon. We do have small hot water systems but enough for a standard 4 minute shower. Because they are small they do heat quickly. Perhaps next time you are in Mooloolaba you will be able to experience our new facilities!

We stayed here for two nights on the return trip from 1770. This was a last minute booking.

The reception staff were great at giving us directions as we had trouble finding the property. We were checked quickly and efficiently and told of the recommended places to see and do.

The room exceeded our expectation and we were very happy with it. Our room (417) was on the ground floor and the doors opened up next to to the pool. The pool was always warm (Not sure if it is heated). In fact the pool was much warmer than the pool in the last property we stayed in,

The location is great being just one street back from the Esplanade. There so many restaurants and bars along the Esplanade leave your car in the carpark.

We made use of the roof top seating that allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of Mooloolaba,

the only thing to note is the that room have traditional locks that use a key (not like the key cards used in most holiday properties). The key was have required some jiggling in all the locks to get it to work, but minor issue and did not really impact our stay.

Good location, however not ocean view if that’s what you’re looking for. Reception staff and pools and amenities are nice and well looked after. We never got a wifi password, even asking (they said it would be sent in a text that we never received). Also found the bed uncomfortable and apartment was small (couldn’t put the suitcase in the main room as there wasn’t enough room). Kids room was well equipped and the bathroom renovation was nice, modern and tasteful. The blind banged in the flow of the aircon all night which was pretty annoying, but not a big deal. The key entry for the garage was very difficult to turn and resulted in injuring my finger trying to turn the key. This happened every time we tried to get in.

Fantastic service from Sarah, went over and above to make our stay perfect. Positioned in a great location, close to shops and supermarket. Walk to the beach, restaurants, everything you need is walking distance. Around the corner from the bus service to take you anywhere. We didn’t have a car and it was no issue at all. The apartment is clean and easily accessible with an elevator and steps to each floor. The apartment areas are cleaned each day and the pool well maintained.
Cold water in the fridge on arrival, basic cleaning products in the apartment to keep clean during your stay. Small stove top is all you need on a holiday, microwave and decent fridge. Highly recommend a stay here great value for money.

Overall was quite good. Car parking easy, location is good.

The rooftop is nice (despite pool/ spa being closed for a few days which we didn’t know about till we got there). Used the bbq’s and spent time in spa.

Balcony in the rooftop apartment we are in needs a good scrub and paint however room was cleaned well.
