Detailed Reviews
Great location, close to everything in Mooloolaba including the beach, relatively clean but a bit aged in décor, cracks in plaster etc., very aged bathroom, no HANGERS in closets?. Spa is in the pool which was quite good, Spa pictured on roof top is apparently private use only (so why advertise it?). Beds are comfy BUT.... area is too noisy! Traffic, hoons and groups of drunks every night of the week coming mainly from the Surf Club about 200m away. Overall the place was a good 3 stars, location great, but I want to sleep at night.

Hi craigwC471UY, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed our central location and that you found the apartment to be clean, beds comfortable and that you enjoyed our pool and spa. We appreciate your feedback regarding the room and we have passed this information onto our maintenance team. The rooftop spa is available when booking our '1 or 2 bedroom apartments with private rooftop spa'. Due to local events at the surf club or in the area from time to time, this may impact the traffic in the area which unfortunately is out of our control. If you have any further feedback we would be happy to speak with you directly on (07) 5444 1255 or you can email reservations@aegeanmooloolaba.com.au. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Kind regards, Aegean Mooloolaba

We stayed for 3 nts, and the Aegean give us everything we needed and more. The apartment was comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of all the bars and restaurants.
We spent a morning in the pool area, which was quiet and had plenty of seating. The pool was warm, despite being winter.
When we arrived, our car wouldn’t fit under the access to the parking area. This was due to us having a roof top tent on the car, and being much higher than the standard car. Andrew and Anna, did everything they could to accommodate our needs and found use a parking space near the door. ( so grateful for this help).
We loved our stay and will definitely be back again. Definitely book the roof top apartment next time for that extra luxury.
Thank you Andrew and Anna for a lovely holiday.

Stayed a week with a 4month old.
Andrew and Anna went out of their way to assist at check-in.
Location is pheonomonal, walking distance to most everything.
Apartment was clean and tidy and contained all we needed with a bub for a week.
Heated pool great for bubs to.
Parking a huge bonus.
We will definitely be back.

Very disappointed. Despite the external new paint job, the apartment itself was tired and in need of a good refurbishment. Everything was grotty. Kitchen tiny, not even a chopping board or four matching dinner plates or glasses for our family of four. No shelf in fridge to stand up a bottle of milk. Main Bedroom door was a rickety old bi fold door about to come off it’s hinges. Years of built up dust in every exhaust fan, rusted out clothes drying stand, wardrobes dirty and dusty. Living area was tiny for a family of four. Be sure to know exactly which apartment you are booking. We had a rooftop but access via the fire stairwell- not what we had been told we were booking. Key system is old style with only one key provided for rooftop -hopeless when there are four people trying to use it at different times. New hosts were nice enough but the apartment was nothing short of disappointing and for the money we spent - there is much much better value elsewhere in Mooloolaba.

Was planning on returning for another trip next year...not anymore! We have been urged to pay a hefty fee for supposedly not handing back one of four keys. My friends and I left Wednesday morning at checkout time and each one of us counted the keys and left them in the drop box. We have now been told that we did not return one key. I highly regret not taking photo evidence but we never thought we would be treated like this. We are in utter shock and no longer want to return after the way we have been treated due to a clear loophole in their system. Other than this, great location!

Hi Ally, Thank you for your feedback. We are so happy that you enjoyed our great location and enjoyed your stay so much that you wanted to return again next year! It is certainly a lovely spot to enjoy a relaxing getaway. As mentioned, if apartment keys go missing we do have protocol in place so that we can cover the expense of replacement. If you could please contact us directly we would be happy to discuss this matter with you further and work towards a resolution. Kind regards, Aegean Apartments

Right in the middle of everything. Short walk to shops, restaurants, wharf and beach. Andrew was so welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Secure parking and heated spa and pool. Quiet and peaceful, despite its location. Bliss! We booked to come back 😀

There are certainly pro's and con's about this place. So I'm not going to leave the emotion out of this for now and list them.
Pro's
Great Location
Great Pool
Easy Walk to The Beach and Surf Club
Public Transport Stops either side of the road in front of the place.
Con's
Limited and/or Terrible views on the lower levels
Out Dated Rooms
Room Cleanliness
Room Size
Condition of Appliances
We enjoed our holiday in Mooloolaba, but it could have been terrible had we have not spoken out as soon as we arrived. The original room we were put in, which was supposedly ocean views, was tiny (we have 3 children) looked nothing like the photos on the website and was in terrible shape. The view was not of the ocean, but of the rear of the oldest take away shops in Mooloolaba (which if you don't know, looks like a shanty town). Not to mention the constant odor of cooking from the restaurants.
With a little bit of negotiating, we were moved to another 2 bedroom apartment on a higher floor (which had pool views) and was at least 1 and a half times larger than our original room. The pool view is fine and is better than what you get on the low level "Ocean View" rooms anyway.
By far the worst thing about this place was overall cleanliness. Yes they wash the floors and vacuum inbetween guests, but it was what they don't clean that made the difference. For example...There was balls of dust accumulated behind the Venetian blinds in all rooms. Honestly, it looked like 10 years worth of dust.
Same with the floor. I had to push our bed to get access to a power pointy and was horrified at what was underneath. Again, at least 10 years worth of dust, hair and other rubbish that could've been fixed with a quick vacuum once a week.
We spent the first half of our day at the Aegean cleaning the apartment up to what we would consider to be an acceptable standard.
Anyhow, I could write more, but I think what I really want to stay is THINK TWICE before booking your stay here.

Hi Leo, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately after having thoroughly checked our records for the past 4 months we have been unable to identify you and the 3 children in our guest registers. We would very much appreciate it if you could contact us with your details and the apartment numbers that you were allocated so that we are able to address your concerns. Thanks.

The Aegean apartments are right in the heart of beautiful Mooloolaba. The shops, beach, Underwaterworld and marina precinct are right on your doorstep. The bus service is cheap and runs services every 15 mins up and down the coast. There are bike paths and walking tracks right along the beach for about 13 kms with fabulous views up the coast. Make sure you check out Pt. Cartright - lighthouse and great views from a park on the top of a hill. The Aegean is a smallish apartment block with only about 26 rooms. We had a room looking over the pool which got afternoon sun. The rates are very reasonable and for a liitle more you can have a penthouse room with your own outside spa, BBQ and rooftop patio - Room 25 is the best choice, as it has direct access to the roof. The staff at Aegean couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The unit was clean and modern and had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. There is so much to do and see on the Sunshine Coast - we took a Harley trike ride into the Hinterland and visited Montville (gorgeous shops), a waterfall and great views across to the Glasshouse Mountains-highlight of our trip. There are all sorts of boat trips on offer from kayak, whale watching, canal tours (looking at the beautiful homes) and jet-ski hire. The area has great restaurants, gorgeous clothing shops, beautiful weather and superb beaches - a perfect spot for a holiday.

Had a great family stay in a 2 bedroom unit on the 4th floor for 3 nights.
Extra bedding was provided for the 5th person on the sofa lounge in the living area.
Very close to Surf Club, beach and cafe's etc.
Friendly staff with a great pool and secure undercover parking.
We went with another couple and their children and we requested our units be next to each other. Management arranged this for us.
Will be back........
