This is such a convenient location with so many choices of food outlets and a variety of shops just down stairs there is also a safe swimming beach just across the road. We were in a superior one bedroom apartment room 561 on the 5th floor with a spectacular view of the beach and point Cartwright and the room was spotlessly clean. The pool was pretty with its rocks and waterfalls and a nice temperature but could do with some maintenance. The free parking was very much appreciated. Overall this is a great resort and I would highly recommend it for couples and families.

Room 571 (5th floor) is a clean, bright and well equipped studio apartment with a partial seaview from a small balcony through a gap between two adjacent blocks. It contains all you will need for a three day stay, or longer. There is a separate bathroom with a walk in shower but no bathtub. The fixtures and decor hardly have a blemish and may well have been refurbished quite recently. There is direct access onto Mooloolaba Esplanade and basement parking with 2.05m headroom. For us the only negative was the small pool and sun deck but the patrolled beach is immediately opposite across the Esplanade. Groundwork has recently begun nearby on a new development but work finished around 3pm each day and was a minor inconvenience.

Hi godfreyw118, That's a terrific description of our most popular room type - Studio Apartments. As you said it's perfect for short stays but has the amenities for longer breaks. Studio apartments have kitchenettes including a 2 hot plate stove & microwave. We offer these apartments at super prices that are the most cost effective on the Esplanade in Mooloolaba. You have mentioned our direct access onto the Esplanade which provides our guests with a short walk to the essentials of a Beach Holiday - shopping & dining. We hope to welcome you back to the Best Beach on the Sunny Coast. All the Best Brett Thompson General Manager

I have just stayed at the Landmark Resort, for 6 days,in Mooloolaba and have enjoyed everything from the moment I got there. From the convenience of just being a few hundred metres from the beach and shops and cafes to the cleanliness of the facilities. The swimming pools were lovely and warm, great considering when the outside temperature was between 21-26 everyday I was there but as it is still winter it is too cold in the sea. The spa pool on the top balcony not only gives you a relaxing soak and not too hot but stunning views and loungers to make the most of. My partner and I booked from NZ but he was unable to fly due to health reasons but from the booking online, to checking in, until the day I left, the Landmark suited me down to the ground. I had booked a suite, kitchen, dining, bedroom all in one basically, but it turned out the bedroom had lovely wooden shuttered sliding doors to partition it off just like a separate bedroom and made it lovely and dark and quiet enough to be able to get the much needed rest I required. The small but well setup kitchenette had everything I needed plus a washing machine and drier in one. The room was spotless, staff friendly and I used the downstairs gym everyday. The bonus also being that although well located, it was lovely and quiet. Would stay again in a heartbeat 👍🏻😁

This is the second time we have stayed at the Landmark. The location is great and the unit had great views. However having a great location and views isn’t going to be enough as the other three hotels we have stayed at in Mooloolaba have had the same. This time around the Landmark seemed like a very average place because it was not very clean. Smear marks on mirrors, glass tables, is something that guests notice straight away. Toilet lid in master bedroom ensuite was broken, I needed to do acrobatics to raise my leg over spa bath, with nothing to hold onto. I just managed…
The laundry machines were great but standing by the trough was a mop with the blackest lint I’ve ever seen. So dirty! Yuk.
Also lifts were dirty. Could be very easy to clean with a soapy microfibre cloth. For example, there was ‘spit’ which had dribbled down buttons. This should be done first thing every morning by maintenance staff, which I’ve seen at the other hotels I’ve stayed at in Mooloolaba…

Hi Demi, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us here at Landmark Resort & Spa. So sorry to hear the unit was not up to our usual high standard - we encourage guests to report items during their stay so we can rectify as soon as possible. Our public area cleaner does clean the lifts several times during the day but as you can imagine being the busiest time of the year it is a constant job that we always aim to stay on top of. In relation to the spa bath we do offer some rooms with walk in showers if this is more suitable - just note this at the time of booking so we can try and allocate accordingly. We appreciate your feedback so we can continuing improve. All the best, Samantha Front Office Manager

As the property is on the Esplanade, the location is a couple of minutes walk to the beach. So many food places close by.
The pool and spa on the 1st floor was a great place to spend the day
We had a superior studio on 9th floor. It was large enough and had a kitchenette. The view of the sunsets were amazing.
The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was that the shower was in the spa bath and even though there was a small step ladder to enter, I didn't feel safe getting in and out of the shower. Apart from that, the bathroom/laundry was spacious.
The reception staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful in printing out boarding passes.
Definitely coming back

We booked 5 rooms to accomodate family to celebrate our Mums 80th birthday. Even though we all booked separately our wish to be near each other was granted where possible. The rooms were all perfect, the welcome chocolates and bubbles for Mum on arrival was a beautiful touch and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great location. Some of the rooms decor was more dated than others but all were clean and well presented. The cars were parked up as everything we needed was close. We will definitely be back.

This is not a resort. It is a tired and grubby serviced apartment. I had to clean the light switches to remove other people's grot and grime. There is dust and fingerprints everywhere and I felt very grubby being here.

I resent that there is no daily linen service at a very high nightly cost.

There were 3 teabags provided in the complementary tea and coffee (for our milti night 2 person stay).

The furniture is old and uncomfortable (although the bed was comfy).

The place is full of screaming kids and you can hear people thumping around upstairs.

This was not a luxury stay, and the place needs a food wipe down.

The air vent in the shower is FULL of clumps of disgusting dust.

The worst part is having to clean up everything before we leave. What am i paying you guys to do?!

Hi generalantics, We certainly encourage feedback & appreciate you have taken the time to leave your personal thoughts about your stay. Firstly we are classified as self-catering accommodation, this is detailed on all of our reservation confirmations, website & 3rd party on line agents. We only service an apartment if you stay 8 nights or more. This is standard practice for the majority of apartments complexes & resorts in Australia. Accommodation stating serviced apartments will perform a daily service. We comply with all industry requirements & we are a Quality Tourism Accredited Business which is awarded by Qld Tourism Industry Council. I apologize if the apartment's cleanliness didn't meet your expectations, we are always happy to attend to any issue a guest may experience whilst staying here. Our priority is to make the guest happy & resolve any issues in a prompt manner. We provide 4 Tea Bags; 4 Coffees & 4 Sugars for a minimum stay of 2 nights as a starter pack for your accommodation. In addition to the generic tea & coffee, we also provide a Green; Earl Grey & English Breakfast Tea. In addition to this initial pack, we provide any additional supplies from reception at no charge. Yes at the moment we are in the midst of school holidays & as a popular Resort we have a lot of families. Unfortunately we don't have control over the noise level, but would say it is accentuated during holidays. With respect to cleaning the apartment prior to departure, we simply ask guests to empty the rubbish & wash the crockery/cutlery. As you can appreciate the apartment is full self-contained comprising numerous kitchen utensils etc. This ensures we keep our prices down & make the apartment available on time for the next guests. Once again standard practice in self-catering accommodation. That aside, I would suggest for future reference to contact reception if you require any additional assistance in making your stay an enjoyable & comfortable one. Our apartment on the 4th floor was contemporary in the styling with the original layout. We were at the rear, so had to look through the trees to the beach. In winter these rooms lose the direct sun early in the morning. We didn’t use heating or cooling in the room, which did feel cooler inside than out.
There was a kitchen, table & lounge area, as well as a separate bedroom with adjacent bathroom, and a laundry. I did have to wash some crockery prior to use & clean the lint filter in the washing machine. The rooftop area was great with the hot spa. But no umbrellas, possibly due to the breeze. The swimming pool on level 1 had a nice seating area. Brilliant easy access to beach & surf club. Easy short walk to supermarket & bottle shop. The bed was a little soft each side, but fine in the middle.
The staff were very friendly. We loved the location. A room on a higher floor would be brilliant.

We had a fabulous stay at the Landmark two stays of five days each. Both times we had a fabulous room with an outlook on the southern side.
The facility is central to so many amenities and the beach.
The rooms are a good size with self contained facitlies, washing machine, dryer and very secure. Excellent place to stay. The front desk staff were so extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay there and will definiteluy be back.

I stayed with my 5 year old daughter for 6 nights. The room and facilities were spotless and had everything we needed for an extended stay. The pool area was a highlight! The location itself was also very convenient being directly across the road from a patrolled beach and a playground and surrounded by great restaurants. Will definitely stay again!

It was especially satisfying that we provided a clean environment which is one of our key performance indicators with our staff. The pool is unique & provides a terrific outlet for all of our guests. You have also mentioned our good the location is, unashamedly it's the best location on the Sunshine Coast. So close to the main patrolled beach as you detailed in your review. The bathrooms were my biggest disappointment at this resort. We had a 3 bedroom and the main bathroom was the smallest I had ever seen. No way would a wheelchair fit. The ensuite was not wheelchair friendly. Not sure on other apartments.
