Raintrees was fabulous! The location is perfect, a short walk through some rain forest and you are on the beach, less than 5 minutes walk. It's close to shops and restaurants too. There are 2 swimming pools a heated one and a cold one. My grandchildren loved the water slide and spa. Wish I could go back there.

Stayed in a standard 3 bedroom apartment in a beautiful rainforest setting with lovely rainforest and pool views from 2 decks. Apartment was spacious and clean and although not new was very comfortable and well maintained with everything you need including supplied linen. Management staff were very friendly and helpful. Raintrees is in an excellent location, only a very short walk to Moffatt Beach and local cafes.
Was excellent value for money and would definitely stay again.

We had booked a delux 3bdr unit at Raintrees which we were told was air conditioned. When we arrived we found out there was no air conditioning in any of the bedrooms upstairs -which in Jan during some of the hottest days on the coast was not ideal. The living space down stairs was quite large which was good however many of the cushions on the chairs seemed to have stains/mould on them. The main bedroom upstairs was very large however the two other bedrooms were tiny. The bathrooms were very small. The walls and carpets had lots of marks and stains on them with a lot of dust and mould on blinds and windows. The rainforest setting sounded nice however more often than not when walking through it you were overcome by an unpleasant smell from the wildlife. We unfortunately weren't aware that Moffat beach was not patrolled by surf lifesavers and walked the 1km to Dicky Beach each day to swim between the yellow and red flags. When we tried to use our own data/internet it would keep dropping in and out. The grounds were kept neat and tidy and the two pools were popular with the kids.

Our big oddly mixed group stayed for 4 nights and found the accommodation comfortable and convenient.
The reception staff are very welcoming and keen to provide for any needs.
The resort was easy to find and to get in to with plenty of parking and easy walk to various shops and beach

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 children. Good location for major attractions like Australia Zoo and Aussie world. Walk through to the beach and river which the kids enjoyed. Receptionist was very nice and always willing to help with enquiries.
Rooms were spacious with 2 bathrooms and good size kitchen. After 4 days we were all a little tired of going up and down the stairs, and was a little hard to carry all the suitcases up to bedrooms. Kids liked the pool with the slide but I found it a little cold for a heated pool. Was a pleasant stay and convenient for us to go to attractions everyday.

We stayed at Raintrees Resort 2 years ago just as the management was changing hands. We liked the location however the rooms were a bit of a mess. This has now all changed. Clearly the new management has made the difference and everything in the room and grounds is spick and span. We spent 3 nights in one of the 2 bedroom deluxe apartments and loved it. As there is no ocean view the place makes excellent use of the trees to make a rainforest feel. This makes the stay very private even though there are others around you. Moffat Beach is a great location and Raintrees Is well located. It is a 2 minute walk from the Resort to the beach and 3 minute walk to the restaurants. Perfect. If you choose to stay please make use of the excellent coastal walking track. Either north or south. Both are high reward for effort.

Raintrees Resort is in such a perfect location. Surrounded only by the greenery of tall trees providing you with that feeling of seclusion, while the resort itself is less than a minute walk and you have you feet in the sand of Moffat Beach. The staff were able to accomodate our every need and on occasions even went out of there way to make your stay as enjoyable and hassle free as possible. If you are looking for reasonably priced and fully self contained accomodation then I would definitely recommend you give them a try. Happy visitor Drew

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time it was so quiet, the pools were lovely and relaxing with a beautiful stroll to the beach and play parks for the kids, close to nice cafe's.
If you have young children I would suggest you ask for a unit that has safety gates on the stairs.

Rooms were lovely, location was perfect and customer service went above and beyond, they even took the time to print out tickets for the theme parks that had been emailed to me ! The walk to the beach was beautiful. We will be back next year !

The sat nav took us to the wrong location but we eventually managed to find the resort at the end of a cul se sac. The apartment was clean and tidy and the staff made us welcome. Pool was nice but didn't use much as weather was quite stormy during our stay.
