Start with positives

It has secure basement parking
Hot shower
Microwave & fridge in room
Cold Aircon
And is relatively quiet.
Vending machine for drinks down stairs is very cheap.

Negatives

Check in reception lady was not very welcoming
Our parking space had an old mattress and old coke cans & oil containers in it.
So many birds hundreds of sparrows in the car garage area and bird poop everywhere.
Room was very small and our bed rolled everywhere the mattress was so hard and pillows very very flat.
The elevator stinks and is very small

Would we stay again No
Would we recommend not to our friends

We stayed here for 17 nights whilst searching for a house to buy in Buderim. First of all let me say that Skilene in reception was great, she is very friendly and helpful. (No wonder she was employee of the month) The apartment was well equipped, full size fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There were 2 toilets which was good as the ensuite bathroom is open to the bedroom so no privacy which was a bit much. While staying there the apartment had its couches updated with brand new ones and also the TV was updated to a bigger smart TV. The place is quite large with a huge balcony, although the cleaning wasn't the best it wasn't too bad. You have your own undercover parking space and although we didn't use the pool it looked quite nice. There is a supermarket within walking distance and it is a 5 minute drive to Caloundra centre, 15 minute walk down to Dicky Beach and 20 mins to Mooloolaba. It is on a busy road, Nicklin Way, but we were on the Browning Blvd side so no traffic noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Sam, thank you for your review. Just to clarify you were charged $100 late call out fee as you and your partner climbed the pool fence at 1am in the morning to use the spa pool ( pool locked at 9.30pm) A staff member was called out at 1am to ask you to leave, you then questioned why you were charged $100? You also had a late call out for a lost key which you were not charged for ($100) and just to clarify the room keys are not $1 as you mentioned. We just had a new lock system put in by Body Corporate who are well in their rights to charge for lost or damaged cards, most hotels charge $200 for lost cards. We do not take Credit Card authorisation signature for our terms and conditions. These are on the back of the form which lists all terms and conditions that you also signed. Maybe next time you should read these terms and conditions and adhere to Hotel rules instead of leaving bad reviews. Management

We stayed at the apartment for one night and I almost chose to sleep in my car the room was that disgusting. There was hair all in the bed sheets so clearly had not been changed, a dirty used cake of soap left in the dirty shower, the air vents are filled with so much lint they wouldn’t even work. The dryer doesn’t work and the space is completely mouldy on the walls. I didn’t want to touch anything in the room as it was so unclean. The facility claims that it is fully air conned which is not the case. The tv cupboard is falling apart with the door hanging on by one hinge and the soap dispensers in the bathroom were mostly empty.
Management were were rude at check in and the general appearance of the apartments is nothing like the photos used to advertise. The pathways outside have not been maintained or cleaned either. I would never bring children to this place as the residents are disgusting, sitting on their balconies smoking weed overlooking the pool area. Major disturbance through the middle of the night with a domestic with people yelling and screaming.
I will be checking out this morning and going straight to SCUH for a Covid test as this place boosts professional cleaning during these times and honestly I would very much doubt the last time even the sheets were changed on the bed let alone the apartment professionally cleaned.

Stayed for 6 nights , don’t get fault by the name Central. Not central at all on the main road in the middle of nowhere
Your window is going the hallway , at least a bit less noise as the hotel is on the Main Street
Room service after 4 days , arrived at my studio room at 5pm finding my door open , the cleaning service was to put 2 towels on the desk , the cleaner didn’t even go to the bathrooms to remove the used towels or rubbish , the receptionist told me where the bins are .
No laundry at all if you book a studio
Even it’s 122 dollar a night I would expect cleaning and security and not leaving the door open by the cleaner
After I complained they did sent a cleaner again the day before I finally was planning to leave , too late

Hi Claus In essence you booked a motel/studio room and as such it does not have a laundry. We do not do daily room services. Perhaps next time you travel it would be wise to book something that costs a lot more to meet your expectations rather than a motel suite

Upon checking in, the foyer and reception area smells like cigarettes. One thing I can compliment this hotel on are the staff at check in who were very friendly and helpful.

The room itself is very dissapointing. The carpet is dirty, the air con is only in the living room which just simply does not reach the bedroom. The fan in the bedroom creaks. The bed is so old you can feel the springs and it is almost like a trampoline. You would almost consider sleeping on the couch.

The toilet is at the end of the hallway in the bedroom with NO DOOR. The shower head is so clogged the water kind of sprays everywhere except on you. The soaps and supplied shampoos, etc are fine and there are enough towels and linens.

The room is however, sad and dated and simply depressing. The curtains are filthy and have holes in them. From 5am a dog, presumably somewhere in the complex, was barking non stop till 7:30am. It was loud and noisy, hot and humid. I felt really uncomfortable in this hotel.

People live here, and you almost feel like an intruder and they watch you and look at you like you are a criminal on their property….! It’s an unusual, gloomy place and I would not stay here again.

Reception area stunk of cigarettes even though there’s a sign that says no smoking. Not a good first impression. Reception lady was friendly and check in and check out was easy. Parking spot we were given was extremely tight. Air con is only in one room which is the living room, no air con in the bedrooms which is terrible, especially in a Queensland summer. The aircon unit had leaking stains on the wall. 2/3 fans in the bedrooms make creaking noises. The cups, plates and utensils needed to be washed before using. There was a rip in one of the couch chairs. The walls have smudges and stains on them. The whole room needed a makeover. Wifi did not work for us. Constant smell of cigarette smoke when walking around the hotel. Overall, extremely disappointed. Won’t be coming back.

Thank you for your review. This hotel is about to have a refurbishment and at no time is this very outdoor living style of hotel responsible for what people do with their smoking decisions. I hate cigarette smoke too and find it an impossible thing to avoid 100 per cent. We have a no smoking policy as per the law requires

Management and staff were rude and unpleasant. The aircon was broken. They shouldn’t advertise facilities they clearly don’t have. It’s misleading marketing. I wouldn’t of spent over $300 per night during the Christmas period to have no aircon on the Sunshine Coast in that heat and humidity. It was most certainly an uncomfortable stay. They promised to reimburse me and failed to do so. There is no way this should be classified as a 4+ star hotel and the advertising pictures look way better than the reality. It’s not a good environment for kids either as people live there on a full time basis so owners were talking loudly and smoking.

The room was not ready at 2pm, check in, we were told we would get a text when ready, we wanted until 4pm and no text, so went to the room and it was ready.

The hotel needs alot of attention, the pool is dirty and crack coping tiles on the main pool which are a safety issue and someone could easily cut themselves. the room was less than average, the walk ways were full of cobwebs and spiders.

Horrible room don’t waste your money on this place, receptionist was rude.
We had a studio room which looked out at a brick wall hardly any space and a horrible shower with a sprinkle spray. I wanted my money back but didn’t receive it. Make sure you see the room before paying.
