Management and staff were rude and unpleasant. The aircon was broken. They shouldn’t advertise facilities they clearly don’t have. It’s misleading marketing. I wouldn’t of spent over $300 per night during the Christmas period to have no aircon on the Sunshine Coast in that heat and humidity. It was most certainly an uncomfortable stay. They promised to reimburse me and failed to do so. There is no way this should be classified as a 4+ star hotel and the advertising pictures look way better than the reality. It’s not a good environment for kids either as people live there on a full time basis so owners were talking loudly and smoking.
Called hotel direct one day before booking to see if they could beat an online price. Hotel agreed to beat the price by $10. Find out after I left they charged me more than our agreed price and what I would have ended up paying if I had booked online. Contacted hotel after arriving home and they played dumb claiming they couldn't recall the conversation. I really hope it's just ignorance, poor management and overall stupidity on their part and not fraudulent behaviour. Just beware, this might be a common scam they are pulling to bring in extra dollars. As a regular visitor to Caloundra, I won't be back and I would advise others not to support a business that operates in this manner.
We stayed here for 17 nights whilst searching for a house to buy in Buderim. First of all let me say that Skilene in reception was great, she is very friendly and helpful. (No wonder she was employee of the month) The apartment was well equipped, full size fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There were 2 toilets which was good as the ensuite bathroom is open to the bedroom so no privacy which was a bit much. While staying there the apartment had its couches updated with brand new ones and also the TV was updated to a bigger smart TV. The place is quite large with a huge balcony, although the cleaning wasn't the best it wasn't too bad. You have your own undercover parking space and although we didn't use the pool it looked quite nice. There is a supermarket within walking distance and it is a 5 minute drive to Caloundra centre, 15 minute walk down to Dicky Beach and 20 mins to Mooloolaba. It is on a busy road, Nicklin Way, but we were on the Browning Blvd side so no traffic noise. We would definitely stay here again.…
Stayed 2 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment. Very clean an huge apartment which had full kitchen facilities. Very comfortable bed. Management was extremely efficient and helpful. Unfortunately, the complex appeared fully booked with many children. As the apartments faced the pool, the noise was at times full on. The tv could of been larger with more foxtel chnls. Overall very comfortable
