Detailed Reviews
We love caloundra and this caravan park has been around for a long time but it's all been updated. I miss the big trees but there's a great pool area now and easy access to the beach area still. Also good walks and nice feel to the park. Clean nice amenities

First stayed here 2001 and it's always been an option when returning to Caloundra. On this trip we'd just arrived in Brizzy and picked up a camper van so this was as good a place as any to get sorted.
Pulling in anywhere on a Saturday arvo is a bit of a gamble regarding vacancies, and although they had none the helpful receptionist did manage to squeeze us into one of the last minute spots between long term tenants in the non-camping area.
The park, along with town and the area in general, has certainly gone mad in recent times, so as a result has lost a bit of the old charm. Having said that, they have definitely made a big effort to maintain privacy with fencing and plantings although the change in roads and intersections means you are not far from traffic and the commercial areas.
In some ways it's not all bad as getting out to the highway is simpler now, and it is even easier to walk to shops and facilities.
The grounds are immaculate and laundry, showers, pool and so forth top-notch with access to the beachside walk.
I think we paid $40-something for the powered site for one night which was past our budget for camping as such, but if price is no object and you had booked your preferred site in advance, it would be harder to find a better place so close to a growing resort area.

Right on the water with fabulous walking path. Amenities are clean and well kept. The pool area is nice. Not many trees around. Close to shops and maccas and icecream. Close to fish and chips and to the beach. Good fishing spots.
