We chose this Motel as it was the only accommodation in this area where we needed to stay that was pet friendly. With that said we enjoyed our 2 night stay, the room was well presented and clean.. No doubt the style of room is typical of those older motel rooms you see in the movies but its presented in a way that gives it a more modern day feel.. The location of the motel is brilliant being only a block back from the beach, waterfront cafes, beach front parks and walkways. Best for us right there is also the off the leash beach for dogs just perfect.. The motel is on a main road and corner of Moffat Beach that is quite busy so we thought it could be a bit noisy for sleeping. But for us we had a great nights sleep which could have been due to the very comfortable bed but more likely the travelling and chasing our dog up and down the beach. If there was a down side for staying at this motel it would the car parking is extremely tight and the walls of the motel are a bit thinner than motels built today so you can hear a little bit of noise from other rooms.. But you pay for what you get...

I was in town for a funeral and had mis-booked another motel - they very kindly referred me to Moffatt Beach, where I got the last available room for the day and arrived just before reception closed.
They could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and I found the room to be ideal & quiet. The undercover parking was also nice to have. I had a great experience, and the camaraderie & liaison between local businesses is a great advertisement for the business community there! Thank you

My first stay was booked late and was a late arrival. Dianna looked after everything to make sure my late arrival was easy, even though I had not been there before. This is my second stay in 2 weeks, another room exactly to my needs. Room configurtion options mean space is not wasted with excess bedding or other unwanted furniture. They have thought of everything. While talking to my neighbour, I discovered Dianna also helps out the community in a very generous and thoughtful way.

I stayed at 54 Bryce Street, Moffat Beach, which I booked through Accom Caloundra.
The place was $166 per night and most of the furniture was stuck together with duct tape!
No air conditioning, which I thought was standard in any place! No dishwasher, and the curtains were falling apart in main bedroom. The home was very noisy as near main road. There were plastic table cloths, the outdoor furniture was falling apart, and the furniture inside had seen better days. The couches were being held together by nails, and one of the bunk beds, the top one was being held together with duct tape, which is dangerous! I would never stay here again!!!!!!
Just because you want a holiday with your dog you should not have to put up with
sub standard accommodation.

Average motel style accommodation, helpful friendly staff, comfortable bed and reasonably good bathroom, plenty of hot water and good air conditioner.
No enticing views from any of the rooms, but the rooms are kept clean. There is a small guest swimming pool which is also kept clean and is available for guest usage. There was a double seater lounge in my room too which looked good, but it didnt face the TV and was far too low to the floor for comfort.
The motel itself though is not in such a great position. Although still in the suburb of Moffat Beach, it stands on the corner of quite a busy intersection with traffic lights so there is usually some traffic noise. However, within 9 or 10 minutes, one can walk from the Motel to fabulous Moffat Beach village where there is a huge well kepy parkand lovely picnic areas facing surf There are also adequate eateries in that same area. A good bus service also plies regularly between Moffat Beach and nearby Caloundra

Hit with the smell of straight bleach when entering the room. Bathroom door would not shut properly, bed visually sagging in middle, growth in freezer and fridge, no smoke alarm, no evacuation plan, hand rails on 2nd floor loose.
Disgraceful sign on bathroom wall next to toilet. Choked by smokers below our room, and our room was not 'refreshed' during our stay.

Di looked after us so kindly. Allowed us to spread out to dry out everything and let us check out late too. Very clean, well appointed room and comfy bed. Nothing was too much trouble, they even apologised for a late night guest arrival.

Obviously recently renovated this was a very comfortable motel. Well priced and centrally located. Ideal for what we needed for an overnight stay.

The staff were very friendly and greeted us with nothing but smiles. The bed wasn’t the comfiest but was OK. It was very noisy as it is on a busy road and with guests coming and going throughout the night the room did allow a lot of noise in. Otherwise the bathroom was very tidy as was the rest of the room. Great for a stop over.

We spent a couple of nights at this very conveniently located and pet friendly motel. The motel room was very clean, organised and offered the all the basics that you might need.
The local dog friendly beach is a short walk away as are the restaurants, coffee shops and transport. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

Hi, Yes we are pet friendly, we have 2 pet friendly rooms all dogs must be registered with reception and there is a pet compliance clean fee payable also. Small breeds and toy breeds incur a $30 one off fee and medium size dogs $40. Please contact reception on (07) 5491 2122 for further information. The dogs are allowed in the room they must be clean and dry upon arrival and you must provide their own bedding as dogs are not allowed on our furniture. As we only have 2 pet friendly rooms they tend to be in high demand so please allow a couple of weeks notice if you wish to confirm a booking. Kindest regards Michaela MBM :)
