Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We was staying in room 504 This room was spacious and quiet with beautiful view. Service was very good, staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 12 days and on fourth day our room was cleaned. Location of Belaire place was excellent. Just have in mind going there bring hair conditioner, beach towels and couple clothes hangers.

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2023. Great location only short walk at the beach. Had beach view plus could see the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance. Appartment was clean and spacious with full kitchen and seperate bedroom with balcony access. Lift worked well to carpark underneath. Only negative is tight car spots and steep driveway. Would stay again

These apartment are in a great location. Close to beach, restaurant and shops. Staff amazing nothing was to much trouble and had great knowledge of sights and things to do. Pool small but refreshing. Units large had everything we needed. Great views. Laundry is communal but was always available and close line outside and portable in room. We will definitely visit again

Reception staff friendly. The room needed updating very tired looking, Furniture old and dated nothing matched, kitchen cupboards were falling apart. The bed base didn’t match the mattress and extended out 5 inches , I kept hitting my foot, now have a sore and bruised foot.. Couldn’t believe no insect screens on any windows and doors. Only positive was a large balcony, and undercover parking.

My husband (who is a disabled Military Veteran and in a wheelchair) and I (also in a wheelchair) spent 3 nights here to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The room was very spacious and clean. Our main issue was the shower had a step up which is difficult for both of us and there was a step out to the balcony which again is difficult for us. It was a wonderful stay all the same and the Staff were extremely helpful from taking our bags up to our room to putting witches hats out the front to reserve a parking spot for us as our wheelchair van is too tall to go underneath. The hotel is perfectly placed for access to restaurants and shops. Would be happy to recommend Belair Place to my friends and family. We had a great view of Pumicestone Passage and could see the ocean as well.

We booked a 5 night stay in a seaview apartment this month. The rooms were spacious and the view was excellent. Easy walk to everything. Rarely saw staff but that is fine. However, the bed was so hard. we barely slept the first night and then used two blankets to pad the mattress a bit for the rest of our stay but I would not stay there again after feeling sore every single morning.

Just wanted to get the negative out of the way and it’s the only ‘bad’ thing about the hotel that effected us was the fan noise in the bedroom at night. There was also some other noise at the start of the night, maybe from the room above? We could not work out what it was but it stopped before it was sleeping time. The fan made a strange noise on and off, once asleep it didn’t wake us up. That’s it. Now for the great part. Great location. Just across from the awesome beach. Downstairs is an Indian restaurant which we ate at on the first night and did enjoy the food. Literally a few steps away from more great restaurants across from the beach and about 4-5 mins walk (not even that) to what seems to be Main Street for that area with more restaurants and shops. There’s a decent playground for the little ones next to the beach and a little cafe van next to it which was convenient for us. The room was really clean and spacious. It was better than what I had anticipated as the building doesn’t look like it’s been built recently or anything so sometimes with older hotels, they can get bit grotty but this hotel seems to be well kept. The pool is heated which is lovely. Staff are just so friendly and professional. Every time we walk past the lovely lady at reception always says hello and always a smile on her face. We stayed on level 1 as the higher level weren’t available but we could still see some of the beach from our balcony. We’d definitely stay there again next time we visit Caloundra.

We were not planning to stay in Caloundra but with flooded roads we stayed for four nights in a one bedroom unit with a partial view of the water. On site managers and staff were helpful and friendly with a good range of places nearby to eat. We are glad we visited this area as the local beaches are nice and we will definitely stay again

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was comfortable except there was only a ceiling fan in the living area so it was quite hot in the lounge/kitchen. Overall, the complex is nice and the location is excellent. The reception staff are friendly

This was our fourth stay here. Good value and well located - close to shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained, but is dated. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked an ocean view room and we were somewhat disappointed as we really feel was only a partial ocean view. I would recommend this place, but I would only book a basic room. In my opinion, it is not worth paying extra for the view. We did not feel comfortable sitting on the balcony as did not feel private and our view was mainly of a car park, rubbish bins and back of a restaurant. We could see the ocean from certain angles only.
