My husband (who is a disabled Military Veteran and in a wheelchair) and I (also in a wheelchair) spent 3 nights here to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The room was very spacious and clean. Our main issue was the shower had a step up which is difficult for both of us and there was a step out to the balcony which again is difficult for us. It was a wonderful stay all the same and the Staff were extremely helpful from taking our bags up to our room to putting witches hats out the front to reserve a parking spot for us as our wheelchair van is too tall to go underneath. The hotel is perfectly placed for access to restaurants and shops. Would be happy to recommend Belair Place to my friends and family. We had a great view of Pumicestone Passage and could see the ocean as well.…
We booked a 5 night stay in a seaview apartment this month. The rooms were spacious and the view was excellent. Easy walk to everything. Rarely saw staff but that is fine. However, the bed was so hard. we barely slept the first night and then used two blankets to pad the mattress a bit for the rest of our stay but I would not stay there again after feeling sore every single morning.
Just wanted to get the negative out of the way and it’s the only ‘bad’ thing about the hotel that effected us was the fan noise in the bedroom at night. There was also some other noise at the start of the night, maybe from the room above? We could not work out what it was but it stopped before it was sleeping time. The fan made a strange noise on and off, once asleep it didn’t wake us up. That’s it. Now for the great part. Great location. Just across from the awesome beach. Downstairs is an Indian restaurant which we ate at on the first night and did enjoy the food. Literally a few steps away from more great restaurants across from the beach and about 4-5 mins walk (not even that) to what seems to be Main Street for that area with more restaurants and shops. There’s a decent playground for the little ones next to the beach and a little cafe van next to it which was convenient for us. The room was really clean and spacious. It was better than what I had anticipated as the building doesn’t look like it’s been built recently or anything so sometimes with older hotels, they can get bit grotty but this hotel seems to be well kept. The pool is heated which is lovely. Staff are just so friendly and professional. Every time we walk past the lovely lady at reception always says hello and always a smile on her face. We stayed on level 1 as the higher level weren’t available but we could still see some of the beach from our balcony. We’d definitely stay there again next time we visit Caloundra.…
We were not planning to stay in Caloundra but with flooded roads we stayed for four nights in a one bedroom unit with a partial view of the water. On site managers and staff were helpful and friendly with a good range of places nearby to eat. We are glad we visited this area as the local beaches are nice and we will definitely stay again
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was comfortable except there was only a ceiling fan in the living area so it was quite hot in the lounge/kitchen. Overall, the complex is nice and the location is excellent. The reception staff are friendly
This was our fourth stay here. Good value and well located - close to shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained, but is dated. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked an ocean view room and we were somewhat disappointed as we really feel was only a partial ocean view. I would recommend this place, but I would only book a basic room. In my opinion, it is not worth paying extra for the view. We did not feel comfortable sitting on the balcony as did not feel private and our view was mainly of a car park, rubbish bins and back of a restaurant. We could see the ocean from certain angles only.
Just had another wonderful stay at Belaire Place. The best ocean views and sunsets. Great location to beach, restaurants and shops. Wonderful friendly staff. Couldn't fault a thing. We will definitely be back
There was confusion on the booking however the staff was quick to sort that out. And supplied extra beds for the kids at an additional fee . Very outdated needs a good reno 1990 cream and blue curtains Ouch !!!!! Very small TV and a DVD player ? Whats that who has DVD"s ...couch was very uncomfortable ....old uninteresting swimming pool built yrs ago by the look. Now my biggest issue was the King bed, it was lick accommodation at Bedrock....my god my hips and back have still not survived a one night stay in a bed that was that hard. They ask you to take your kitchen tidy rubbish and dispose down stairs and additional towel service in a 4 day period costs $22 otherwise your stuck with same towel!!! No ocen views very unsatisfied for the Money ....3 star at the most !!!!
Easy check in and out. Genuinely lovely people. Spotless room and very comfortable. We had 1st floor street, no noise, watch the world go by on balcony and you do get a decent glimpse of water. Pool which is heated if not a summer stay. Secure parking for one, street parking is a juggle. Close to restaurants, main precinct and convenience shops if needed. Beach is on doorstep. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Caloundra, whether you want to dine out, self cater, do a lot or little you cant go wrong. Convenient, Value and Welcoming.
Belaire Place has everything you need for a happy stay in Caloundra. Excellent location, less than a minute from Bulcock Beach and its esplanade, close to many shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Apartments are very comfortable and quiet in this very busy area, definitely worth paying the extra for an ocean view room which gives a very nice outlook to wake up to, and a pleasant view from the spacious balcony. Our apartment didn't have a dishwasher or washing machine, which didn't bother us for a 3-night stay, but I assume the rooms are individually owned so if it's an issue, could be worth finding out in advance as other rooms may be different. There is also a coin operated laundry on the ground floor in any case. Desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and checking in is easy. The property has secure undercover parking and a seperate bay outside so you can park while you check in. Overall, more than happy with this accomodation and would not hesitate to recommend it for a stay on the Sunshine Coast.…
