Loved our stay here ... 20 days in total. Decor very retro, the owner Linton is a great host and very helpful. The communal area has use of a kitchen, lounge area, and washing machine. We did not have pets but were very happy with the dogs there even got to dog sit a couple for an hour or two. Location is great a 8-10 minute walk to the centre of Burleigh Heads. Rooms are comfy, very clean, and well priced. Wifi is very strong. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

A short walk to the beach and a stroll along the esplanade to amenities was perfect for the night before our last leg of a very long journey. Our room (9) was on the 2nd floor in almost a cul de sac position without front facing windows and almost claustrophobic and a tight squeeze for 3 adults and 1 little dog. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful and I loved the candles being lit outside all rooms with fairy lights making this a calm and ambient stay. Not a long term holiday room unfortunately.

Straight up this is budget accommodation and we booked it for the Com Games.
But if you want a clean room and nice bed 50meters from the beach and walking distance to the heart of Burleigh and some great restaurants then check Burleigh Break out.
Linton the Manager was very friendly and helpful. Little touchs like Lint chocolates and Robert Timms coffee and the best range of milk make for a very comfortable stay.

Unbelievable that a booking that was placed and confirmed via manager email 5 days in advance can be cancelled and customer not notified. As a pet friendly hotel which are very difficult to find at short notice, we were unable to find any accommodation within 4 hrs of Burleigh Heads. This left us sleeping in our cars and extremely tired. This is what you can expect when staying in very average hotels like Burleigh Break. Extremely poor customer focus and obviously inability to manage a simple booking properly. The manager’s BS excuses made it even more difficult to be understanding.

We had room 11 with a very comfortable king size bed. The room was clean, very fifties decor, tea, coffee and kettle provided,
Short stroll to beach at end of street and very close to great cafes and a short walk to the resturants of Burleigh.

Haven't stayed here but have had lunch several times. It is always busy but the service is still good. You order at the counter and they deliver the meals to the table. Generous servings and always fresh

Lovely affordable accommodation so close to the beach. A short stroll and you're at the local cafes and shops.
The room is spacious and perfectly formed with neat decor and comfortable bed.
A welcoming host and relaxed vibe make this an easy choice. Only 20 minutes or so from the airport.

Our two main criteria for accomodation selection on this occasion were economy and location.

The selection genie certainly favoured us! We were greeted warmly when we arrived much too early and were cheerfully welcomed in on the proviso that some minor items of linen were still in the dryer and would be delivered in due course. Done!!

The room was a standard motel room of late sixties era rethought into a charming, funky, comfortable, very clean place to rest.

Parking is very close to the room. There is the possibility of many steps so discuss that on booking if it's an issue.

I loved the real coffee, lots of teas, cleanliness and the character!! It's not a luxury experience but it is a really cool and original little place!! Thanks Linton!

Ooh and I forgot about the Lindt balls !

This place is a retro style dream, yet updated, light, and clean enough to feel fresh and quirky but stylish. A really comfortable stay, great location close to the beach, restaurants, and a nice walk to the National Park and Tallebudgera Creek if you wish. Parking is good. Nice patio. Linton is a gracious host, with great recommendations (Commune for breakfast just across the street!) Would stay again and recommend.

Lovely, quaint little motel, a real throwback to the sixties, seventies classic beach accommodation, we really enjoyed the feel this place has. Super helpful, friendly, nice staff, Linton is a gem who will help you out with your needs. Great location, only four blocks from the hub of Burleigh, no driving anywhere, just enjoy a nice walk along the esplanade. Clean, quiet, affordable, accessible, kitchen facilities, bbq area, excellent coffee over the road. We'll be back!
