I had a 5 night stay over the Australia Day long weekend. I called direct for the best rate and got the most gorgeous,recently renovated apartment with a beach Hamptons feel and a direct ocean view with a balcony you never want to leave. The location is perfect: 15 mins by car or Skybus from the airport, a 2 minute walk to great cafes and about 300m to Coles, Aldi, shops and restaurants. Burleigh village centre is about 10 to 15 minutes walk. Everything in the resort was clean, fresh, modern and well maintained.Emma and Sarah on reception are fantastic and I’d stay again.

My husband and I just enjoyed time spent at Burleigh Mediterranean Resort the room had sea and garden views, could not fault the apartment rooms very clean,linen, bed and pillows dream worthy. Had a barbecue on sunset on roof top garden area just breathtaking,beach right across the road all shops walking distance. Take the time to spoil yourself in a little bit of the Mediterranean you deserve it . Thanks to front of house Nicky always nice to be greeted by happy helpful staff.

The room, location and amenities were all 5 Star. The Resort is the most beautiful on the Burleigh strip. The ocean view was both relaxing and inspiring. The room has recently been renovated (beautifully appointed) and in regard to the amenities we couldn't think of one thing that wasn't provided (that we would have needed). Being strata title, the Resort wasn't filled with holiday makers so was quiet and the amenities including BBQ's, pool, rooftop were never overcrowded (even over Christmas). Beach towels, beach umbrella's were provided. Everything you could ever want for a wonderful holiday.

This resort is beautifully maintained and everything was exactly as pictured. Unfortunately the amenities on offer do not warrant the inflated price. The location is about 1.8km out of Burleigh, so not central enough for the location to be the reason for the cost. The one br ocean view apartment was well appointed clean and comfortable but would be more suited to the $200-300 pn price range

Hi Carolyn, and thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Whilst we are out of the Burleigh Centre, (which appeals to many people), we are just across the road from the beautiful Burleigh beach, and within short walking distance of eateries, hotels and shops, and it is only a 15 minute walk to the main Burleigh centre. As you would understand, pricing is not just about location - there are many factors - one of which is season and when you stayed, Carolyn, you were at the tail end of the High Season. You also booked an Ocean View apartment in our Superior category, and the price for those is a bit more expensive as they have been refurbished. We are glad you enjoyed our resort and appreciated how it is maintained.

Great three bedroom apartment. The request to make a king size bed was completed before we arrived, making it easy when we arrived late and tired. Extra towels for the pool supplies in the room. We were visiting for a baseball tournament which made the included washer and dryer a huge benefit. Great coffee in the area made the walk along the beach extremely pleasant. For the evening some local breweries and great food made the entire stay enjoyable.

Our first time at the Mediterranean but it won’t be our last. We are frequent visitors to Burleigh but normally stay further along the esplanade but have never been made as welcome as we were at the Mediterranean. The resort look and presentation is second to none at Burleigh. Not as close to Burleigh shops as our previous accommodation but a beautiful easy walk along the esplanade is not really a chore. On the flip side of this location is the fact that we are dangerously close to the North Burleigh Surf club and Miami pub. Also very close and handy to Coles, Aldi and other shops and cafes. Our unit was much larger and more comfortable than what we are used to down the coast. No aircon in the bedroom was offset with a ceiling fan, second tv in the main bedroom and a large king size bed. The outside pool was a bit cool but that was probably due to the fact that we have had an unseasonably cool week leading into Christmas and we always had the heated pool and spa inside to warm up in, combined with the sauna and gym there was something for everyone.

We had a lovely spacious apartment (406) but unfortunately housekeeping had not completely finished the job when we checked in after hours at 5.30. Key was collected from safe, but on arrival our apartment door was wide open, cleaner's bag had been left and some areas had not been cleaned. I notified reception of these details on our first day. Apologies and excuses were given and the promise of 'something to make up for this' while you are staying. We stayed for a week and nothing was done. Not so much as a bottle of wine or box of chocolates. We had a nice stay, it is a lovely apartment in a good location, but when you pay over $2K for a week to stay somewhere, you expect it to be clean and ready when you arrive late. Really disappointed to be told - we'll make it up to you and absolutely nothing done. Plenty of other lovely apartments on the coast, will try somewhere else next time.

So this is our second stay at the Mediterranean so clearly we love it. The view is amazing ( 2 bedroom unit) from both the living amd bedroom. It’s very clean too. The service is first class. So friendly and accommodating. You can borrow umbrellas, beach chairs and even boogie boards complimentary.
The pool is great and kids love it. We are past that phase but it’s so quite that you barely see other tenants.
You are not in the center of burleigh but we enjoy the walk down there everyday. It’s only 10 mins and it’s beautiful. You’re very close to The north burleigh surf club which is great.
We stayed on the 9th floor but we’ve also stayed on the 5th in a superior room. Both the standard and superior rooms were great. Coles and Aldi are super close if you want to grab the essentials.
And you get to walk the burleigh hill which is beautiful and keeps you fit. All you need is the weather. What more can I say - it’s super good value and I’ve booked for next year as it’s often booked out

The room was spacious, location for us was ideal and the grounds and facilities were fantastic. But… our room had significant stains on the carpet that gave the impression it was filthy. The bathtub had a hole that had been repaired but visually looked terrible. The cabinetry in the kitchen is showing significant signs of ageing and the tiles again had stains that made the place feel dirty. The room had been cleaned but just the basics, there was black mould in the bathroom area that when mentioned to staff it was quickly tended to. There was a lot of dust build up around the architraves and surface splash marks on doors and mirrors that wiped straight off but had been missed during the clean. I am 100% aware the room we booked was a non-refurbed room (room 406) but this particular room was so run down that it doesn’t reflect how good of a property this place really is. The main let down was the stained carpet which could be replaced with minimal cost to the owner. Overall we would stay at the resort again but would request not to be in that particular room and would suggest to people we know that may be travelling the same thing. Great resort, very disappointing room that could be brought up to scratch without a lot of cost.

Friendly welcome on arrival. We had booked a 2 bedroom ocean view and were very pleasantly surprised by our apartment ! Clean and well equipped with amazing views and a large balcony area perfect for families. Pool and BBQ area were clean and not overly crowded which was great for this time of year. Location is perfect with the beach right across the road. A manageable walk, scooter or bike ride with children to many cafes, grocery shops or the surf club. We’ve already rebooked for the same time next year. Highly recommend !

I believe the only views are of the gardens and small swimming pools and these views will be partly obscured by palm trees and scrubs.
Possibly there are a couple of units directly on Gympie Terrace which will have a view onto the Noosa River.
