Detailed Reviews
Our poor experience here started with late receipt of after hours check-in details. They were sent 2 hours before our arrival via a text with only a mobile number in the advice line. We arrived at the front door with two small children and no means of entering the building. We called the after hours emergency number but did not receive a return call for 2 hours. In the meantime another guest arriving after hours allowed us to enter the building. By chance the manager passed by and helped us into the lift. No attempt to help us to our apartment even though it was obvious we could use some help with 4 bags and two very small children
We found our way to apartment 39 on the 16th floor. It was spacious and ideal for 2 adults and 2 small children but it was very tired and in need of a lot of maintenance
In the main bedroom none of the 4 windows could be opened because the winders were jammed having been affected by salt air. Windows in the kitchen area were similarly affected. The light on the air extractor above the cooktop did not work and the filter was blocked (rusted out). The rubbish tin in the kitchen had not been cleaned and did not have a liner inserted. The utensil drawers were grubby and items randomly scattered. The basic items left in the bathrooms and on the kitchen bench were very basic indeed and one would have expected better given the price tag of $360 per night. One other example of poor service occurred 1 day before our arrival. I called and asked if there were beach towels available. I was told No bring your own. Most other places we have stayed on the Gold coast have towels to rent. Not here yet it promotes itself as a 5 star resort
All of the issues outlined were relayed to the managers who seemed disinterested in hearing about them. Didn't even say sorry nor did they ask at any time. How is everything?. How was your stay?. Free market research which anyone in hospitality should avail themselves of

The apartments themselves were lovely, ours was freshly renovated with heaps of great amenities. Beautiful ocean views with very decent sized living rooms. Really nice big balcony aswell. However all of this was ruined by the terrible customer service and lack of care given by the owners/ managers. We found Kate and Tony particularly rude and unfriendly towards us. As we all work in customer service ourselves we were really let down by the lack of at Indgo Blue. Our first problem occurred when we asked for some beach towels (we read on booking.com that towels would be provided) The owners told us that they didn’t have any towels for us, to which tony said ‘I don’t know anything about booking.com sorry’ Never once were we greeted with a hello when walking past reception nor asked how our stay was, instead we were on the receiving end of snappy comments in regards to not wearing our masks properly. We have never had a problem complying with any masks rules and completely respect having to wear one, however when the people telling us off weren’t wearing ones themselves and didn’t bother asking us politely to wear one when checking in, we were made to feel intimidated and scared. The times we did wear masks we were snapped at asking if we were visiting, felt like we couldn’t win either way. The whole time we felt anxious walking through foyer and would avoid at all costs. When the time came to check out we weren’t asked how our stay was or if we enjoyed ourselves, simply just a ‘leave the keys here thanks’ Various other issues we encountered such as it being too much of an issue to store a couple of extra suitcases in our rooms for a few hours for some of our visitors, took a bit of convincing to allow us to finally be able to take the bags up to our rooms. Real pity for us that we felt this way about Indigo Blue as the apartments are beautiful in a great location to beach and shops, however we wouldn’t recommend this to others and unlikely we’ll stay here again as the customer service really lets the place down, we left feeling down and upset about the whole experience.

We recently have a fantastic family holiday at Indigo Blue the location is great a short walk to the Main Street , surf clubs, supermarkets and a patrolling beach across the road.
Excellent facilities with extremely well maintained grounds you can tell the staff take pride in the complex.
Reception team were extremely welcoming and also provided us with some little hidden spots in the back streets of Burleigh.
We will definitely be returning

I had really high hopes for this hotel as it was my family's first vacation (since my son was born) so we really wanted to make it special.
The location was great and the views were beautiful, however, that's where it stops.
On arrival we were greeted by an empty reception desk, which we found out as our stay went on that this was normal for this hotel. The desk was constantly unattended, with a phone number displayed to call if you needed anything. However, when we called this number, it constantly went unanswered
Luckily, when we arrived one of the permanent residents happened to be passing through so she tracked down the manager for us.
His rudeness was apparent from the first encounter. He was more worried about yelling at us for parking in the "visitor parking" than checking us in.
When we finally got up to our rooms the cleanliness was atrocious. The carpet was filthy, there was food under the couch cushions, mould in the air conditioner and I even discovered a USED diabetic patch in my bedroom
The room was not serviced daily (which we knew) however, it did state that it would be serviced if our stay was longer than 7 days. As we were staying for 9 days we were entitled to this service. We got to day 7 of our stay, our towels were dirty and our bedding was gross. As the desk was NEVER attended we tried calling the "contact number" instead..which went unanswered..again.
We decided to text the number, just to find out when our room was getting cleaned, to which we received a ONE WORE response (as if we were bothering him or he was a moody teenager).
We returned that day to clean beds but that was where the "room service" ended.
The rooms were dated, and sea air has really taken its toll on this poor old building
With a modern make over and some decent cleaning this hotel could be lovely
However, expect nothing but rudeness and rule enforcement from the manager...if you even get to meet him at all, that is.

I recently stayed at Indigo Blue for 3 nights, and had a lovely unit on the 7th floor. The apartment block itself looks well maintained, the pool and bbq area are clean. They also have a gym and tennis court if you feel energetic.
It’s located a fairly easy walk to the surf club, shops and restaurants, and just across the road is a patrolled beach. I would definitely stay at these apartments again.

Had a week stay at Indigo Blue in July 2021.
2 minute drive from main street Burleigh, 15 minute walk. Directly across from the beach.
Location Location Location!! Amazing spot.
Easy walk to the Miami Coles & local coffee shops.
Apartment was great! 3 bedrooms, all renovated, spacious. Very clean on arrival.
Kitchen well supplied with good utensils and good appliances. Although no beach towels as advertised on Bookings.com
The big let down was the customer service, we dealt with managers Kate & Tony who were only friendly on check in before payment.
Check in was easy, although nothing was explained about how to access pool/gym/sauna/ tennis court.
Following on, these mangers were intimidating to the point we felt more comfortable to exit via basement.
We felt scared to have a couple of friends over and felt like they had to “sneak” up.
Not once did these managers say Hi or hello or ask how our stay is as we passed the reception desk many times daily. It was up to us to say hello.
We would arrive at the hotel entry to the mangers coming out to the desk to ensure we were wearing our mask properly and we’d be on the receiving end of rude comments regarding mask wearing. Never have any of us ever had an issue wearing masks in the
past, although if we had been asked and explained to nicely we would have responded well. The people asking us to wear a mask also weren’t wearing on themselves.
It’s a real shame that the customer service was lacking, as we extended our Gold Coast for over two weeks, we visit every 4-6 months and have a lot of friends & family we could have recommend these apartments to.
We also loved the apartment and the location.

One of best apartments I've ever stayed in. Spacious, luxurious, spotless, comfy with amazing ocean views. Location is the best on the Gold Coast. Can sit on the balcony and watch the surfers do their thing. Cafes, Macca's and 7 eleven are close by as well as public transport. The managers Kate and Tony were extremely helpful and very friendly and dropped everything when we needed some assistance. I highly recommend Indigo Blue and can't wait to come back.

The location is nice. However the guy from reception, who you need to ring and then he may emerge from the room behind if you are lucky, ruins the whole experience. During our stay it seemed as if he constantly monitored the CCTV camera and came rushing out if there were any infringements such as wet feet, parking in the visitor parking for more than a few minutes and things like that.
Absolutely avoid this place unless you enjoy Faulty Towers type rudeness from reception.

The Location was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the facilities were well maintained. A bit pricy for the type accommodation you pay for!
Only bad thing was the excess number to rules. Rules like, you have to dry off before you get out of the outdoor spa!
Guests could not park in the front carpark at all though sign at the park said to “not park overnight”.
If you are a family with kids, you feel like you will walking around on egg shells! Better to look for a place where you can relax and not worry that you will be breaking rules!!
