We stayed recently with our toddler and were given the 10th floor. Spent 4 days terrified he’d somehow work out the glass slider lock and fall (screens would be great so we could let fresh air flow through). Fabulous view of the ocean and sunrise and great proximity to restaurants and parks!
Fridge leaked and pooled water on kitchen floor the entire time so we had to keep mopping it up. Air con units in dire need of service and a clean - at 16 degrees they still weren’t cold. We stayed during a heatwave and the fan in the master bedroom didn’t work unless the light was turned on (not ideal for trying to sleep). Second bedroom fan remote stopped working on day 2. The air vents throughout were chock full of dust. Laundry had really bad odour. Bedding was horrible! Really rough sheets and synthetic quilts. The only extra blanket in the master was covered in stains and hair. Ironing board not able to be used as both ends were falling apart (see photo). Face wash cloths would be great instead of a hand towel. Everything else was great though - friendly staff, nice pool and the apartment itself was tidy - the place just really needs a good clean and some updated bedding.

Loved our stay at Cashelmara. Such a great location, directly across from beach, easy walk to shops in Burleigh, and Cafes and Surf Club close by. Pool was amazing, so nice. Thanks for the wonderful stay. We'll be back.

We had a family holiday in a renovated room level 14 room 43 for five nights awesome rates and room was fabulous. As soon as we arrived Helen and David made us feel welcomed with great homely feel. Helen and David went the above and beyond to make our stay stress free and the rooms were so very homely. They were very clean and comfort was 100 percent. There wasnt any hassle to ask for anything. We ended up staying 2 extra nights it was just that great and easy. Everything is so easy!!!! Will definately be back to enjoy plenty more time at Cashlamara appartments😊 Thanks you to Helen and David!!!

Amazing helpful managers, Helen and David were totally appreciated the help and tourist advice on things to do. The apartment we had was amazing for the views on the 16th floor. The furniture was dated but functional. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, the beds were super comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Cashelmara in an ocean view apartment in early May while visiting my daughter. The service was spectacular, the whole complex is so well looked after and the units are very well equipped for an easy stay. I will not stay anywhere else now on the Gold Coast! Thank you so much

Lots of good points about this place. On the whole a great place for a family get-together. However some apartments much better than others. We requested refurbished but only some of us got that. The apartment we had was spacious and clean enough but needs freshening up. It must be frustrating for the managers (who are very nice!) when the individually owned units are not all kept up-to-date.

We stayed here for a week on the 8th floor - apartment 25. Fabulous! The views are amazing. Very well equipped and clean kitchen. Beds very comfortable with tv in master room. Lounge/dining area good size and very comfortable. Pool area lovely - clean and very inviting. If you are looking for a great holiday apartment - this is it. We'll be back!

We have stayed at this apartment complex several times over the last 10 years. The location is excellent, accross the road from Burleigh Heads beach. There is a narrow park between the road and the beach that has a lovely walking/cycling track. It really is a beautiful area. Cashelmara has a small, very clean pool and a jacuzzi. There is a half tennis court for a hit and a giggle. The grounds are well maintained. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. Unfortunately, there was a terrible smell in the foyer of the floor on which our unit was situated - caused by a lack of ventilation and possibly the smell coming up from the rubbish shoot. Rubbish is cleared daily and the complex is very clean and well maintained but this smell was really horrible - at least it didn't get in to the unit. The two bedroom units are small but as long as you are on an upper level floor probably from 4upwards, you'll get an amazing view of the beach and ocean. Each unit is individually owned - there is an onsite manager, so the fitout varies. Our unit was very 80's - pinkish beige colours, carpet needed replacing. The kitchen was very poorly stocked and it was impossible for two people to have a shower at once as the hot water would go off! My advice speak to the managers personally and demand a unit with an upgraded fitout. The location is wonderful but the units interior really let it down.

We are staying for six weeks and have been treated like unwelcomed guests because we went through a real estate agent. Today we saw a sign in the lift stating the parking bay we have been allocated is to be treated with a waterproofing treatment and will not be available for a week. Our real estate agent was advised and we are leaving on a holiday for two weeks tomorrow. The management could not give a care about our car. We have paid for secure parking and they say though. O
