Enjoyed staying at the Rockpool motor inn, I stayed in the king spa suite, the room is of good size with kitchenette, very large comfortable bed & a 2 person spa, table with 2 chairs & enough storage for clothes if you are staying for some time. The room has great air conditioning & plenty of hot water to fill the spa. The restaurant onsIte the food was beautiful from the entree right down to desert & the price was not over the top, will definitely eat there again. All the staff were friendly & the motel does have the family feel. The country club is very close by so you can walk, it’s about 10 min walk to the town shops & the beach is in walking distance. The pool at the motel was heated and also is salt water I was happy to have a pool as the beach was brown from all the rain. The Rockpool motor Inn also a quiet place to stay no street noise, please note there are no beach views from this motel, however I will stay at this property again.

After a long day travelling with 2 separate flights & a 1 1/2 hr hire car drive, I experienced an enthusiastic welcome from the manager which set the scene for 4 nights in an exceptionally clean & comfortable room.
The restaurant’s in room evening meals were of an unexpectedly deliciously high standard each night.
I was in the area to visit a sick family member so after each stressful day this accommodation offered a very warm & comforting retreat.
Overall every aspect of this accomodation experience exceeded expectations.

My partner and stayed here for a 3rd time & absolutely love staying here. The rooms are always clean with lovely ammenties. The rooms are also quiet no slamming doors & with the carpark under the building you don't hear guests leaving early of a morning. We will definitely be back in the warmer months to take advantage of the pool.

Fistly I would like to Thank Relief Managers Len and Valerie for stepping outside the considered Management Principles and going beyond and above the normal roles and procedures of their Positions. Last weekend I was booked in and the weather was atrocious, gale force winds torrential downpours and I just happened to be on a motorcycle that broke down, I contacted them, they organised tea, etc as I got there on Dark soaked to the skin, they helped put the bike undercover and made sure I had decent sleep Sat night. I was woken Sunday Morning Early, my clothes were all dry and a beautiful breakfast was served( this is not usual of Sunday Mornings) Len arranged a Bike Trailer and he went out of his way to assist loading it on tying it down and ensuring all safe for the trip home. I could not have done this without them as I am a Disabled Vet. What I would like to see is Management/ Owners officially letting Len and Val know how much it meant to me to witness, not only their Outstanding Professional, Care and Conduct, but also a demonstrated degree of Human Kindness ( outside their normal roles) and on their own time in the Quality People that Rockpool has employed

We booked a Studio room, with small kitchenette, very spacious, it was cold at the time and air con very welcome.
Had dinner in restaurant, which was adequate, we got there at 7.00 and two dishes had sold out, fair enough, they can’t be expected to have everything not knowing how many people etc., suggest you check menu out at 6.00 when they open and book what you want.
Undercover parking very useful in rainy weather.

Stayed 3 nights in this great place. Staff were excellent and the location of the Rockpool Motor Inn makes it ideal for a short stroll to the beaches and main street/shops. We had a large room (22) which included a queen bed and kitchenette including a microwave and other great features. This place is definitely on our list of places to stay again in the future.

We have stayed at Rockpool Motor Inn twice now, the most recent time for 4 nights.
The location is great, within a short walking distance to the beach, Country Club, Surf Club, Pub, shops and restaurants. It is also in a very quiet area. There is parking underneath the Resort.
We stayed in a King Spa Room on the third level which overlooked the pool. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the Resort very quiet so we had great sleeps. The airconditioner was quiet and very effective.
The pool is small but clean and warm with a couple of lounge chairs.
The kitchenette was a plus with toaster, electric jug, microwave and crockery. The shower was good but over the spa bath which might be a problem if you have a mobility issue. Also, there is no lift.
The room and the whole resort were very clean and well looked after.
We didn't use the onsite restaurant this visit but last time the food was really lovely.
The staff are really friendly and helpful (including the relief managers).
I would recommend the Resort and would stay there again.

I stayed one night and was welcomed by the very friendly manager who have me a little bottle of milk (not those tiny pod things) which was cute! I was upgraded to a ground floor studio which was very thoughtful as I had been asking about stairs and luggage. My room number 1 was easily reached from the carpark and had an exceptionally (for a motel room) large and well appointed kitchenette - very well stocked with kitchen items so would be good for a longer stay. The room does back onto a driveway of the adjoining property so there was some overheard conversations as well as the TV next door, an adjoining room separated by a locked doorway. Occupied by birthday celebrants who were not particularly mindful this is not the fault of the management, who were very nice. The room faces the restaurant's kitchen door, although they open and close at reasonable hours. The restaurant seemed very busy which is a good sign if you are looking for an easy meal. Very well located in central SWR, easy walk to beach and shops.

This motel was a nice little stop on my way through South West Rocks. I stayed for a few nights in order to dive, and the location and room was well situated for my needs. Basic kitchen items are stocked and there are a good amount of towels and lots of space for eating in. Also the benefit of a covered parking garage, not common in the area.
The only areas of improvement I noted were:
- The bathroom fan is window mounted, and you can hear outside because of the air gaps. I was kept up by some loud neighbors in a house nearby that liked to have early morning breakfasts and late dinners outside, with lots of yelling.
- If you end up on the top floor, it’s very hard to carry heavy luggage up those stairs. If you struggle with heavy item carrying, get a ground floor room.
The only areas of improvement I noted were:
