Detailed Reviews
We stay at this property from Fri 25/7/14 - 28/7/14, in a cabin for 4 adults.
First impression: remote and quiet along the bank of Macleay river, surrounding with trees and paddock,
Room were clean and ready when we arrived, the set up is OK as the name of cabin but fully furnished with kitchen, oven, microwave, LCD TV, etc...large bathroom with instant hot water, all cabins have verandah in the front, look over the Macleay river, and private property of six cabins in total, few steps to the edge of water or its private jetty, has it's own boat ramp and fish cleaning area. Yes, it's privacy.
It's also great spot for fishing ( whiting, jewfish, flathead, bream etc...)
The BBQ area is nice large shed with 2 BBQ, 2 large commercial sinks with hot hot water and two burners, all cutlery & plates are provided enough for more than 20 people, clean & tidy.
Thanks and great appreciation to Graham and Kerry for looking after us, while we were there, hope we will return in this coming November.

What a hidden gem we found at Coast and Country Cabins! Perfect spot to stay right beside the Macleay River, complete with its own jetty and boat ramp this absolute waterfront location is picturesque, convenient for the fisherman and so relaxing to sit back and take in the view from your own verandah.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin, bathroom was modern, clean and kitchen had everything we required. Comfortable bed, modern TV etc.
The best thing about this place is that it is so private, each cabin has plants/bamboo growing beside them so you can lay back and relax in privacy. 5 minutes drive to South West Rock, 5 minutes drive to Smithtown and Gladstone where there are 2 fabulous pubs.
Wish we could stay longer!

Stayed for three nights on a road trip down the NSW Coast. Really well set up cottage with everything you need. Fish from the bank in front of your cottage or from the jetty. Plenty of birdlife to be seen from the decent-sized verandah and we even saw dolphins cruising past. Close to South West Rocks. Loved it.
