Service at reception was friendly and helpful, lots of BBQ areas and amenities blocks clean and fine. Interesting bush walk in the morning with my child. Play area also. We will definitely come back. We only live 20 mins from it but I thought camping out for the night would be fun. And it was !! You can hear traffic...

Probably the main reason we ended up making our Sydney trip at all was because my in laws told us about this place. I can’t imagine anywhere else in Australia you can stay so close to the centre of a major city in such a beautiful location for so little. We camped, and the camp kitchen was great, the campsite...

Stayed here during the Easter Long Weekend for two nights. The ladies shower and toilet cubicles were neat and clean which I appreciated so much as a clean-freak, esp considering this is a camping site - also there're plenty so there was never a queue. Communal kitchen has two fridges (and you can store your food inside) a toaster, hot...

Dear Maria J It's wonderful to see you enjoyed the location and to read your comments about the amenities/kitchens and pool. We currently do not enforce a curfew however we do have a 24hour onsite presence that include after-hours patrols of the park. The contact number for the on-site security officer is provided in the check in form and we...

This camp is in an unbeatable location for access to most of Sydney including the CBD but needs a few issues addressed. The first is the booking system. Like all National Park camping areas in NSW this one requires bookings to be prepaid and non-refundable no matter how far out they are made. Unlike most however there is no site...

We loved it here! We were only supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up staying a week. It's a great location for visiting Sydney as the train station is just a 10 minute walk away! 5min drive to Macquarie park shopping centre. Amenities could do with a little tlc, but they were always clean. It's a little expensive compared...

I was a little concerned at getting there, not being a lover of Sydney traffic but it was easier than expected if you steer clear of peak periods. A GPS is a must, more so if you head north on your way out. It's a good walk, a bit over a k to North Ryde station but once there and...

Have stayed for a week, the atmosphere is bushy, natural and just the right amount of distance from park to public transport to not hear the hassle n bustle of traffic. Amenities are clean and well appointed. Obviously plenty to do in n around area. Cannot beat this type of accomodation preferences so close to this awesome city. Come stay.....

Lane Cove River Tourist Park is an economical place to stay when visiting Sydney. The sites for camping are a good size, the amenities while old are satisfactory and what's more it is only a 700 metre walk to North Ryde Train station. The only downside the noise of the planes arriving in Sydney is constant.

Right under the approach path for both main runways when the is from the south. On this visit we had to endure the noise for the whole week we were here. To be fair, there is no noise when the wind is from the north. The caravan sites vary, some are large and very private, but some are very cramped....

The campground maybe on the flight approach to Sydneys airport but they seem to stop at night then the highway noise takes over. However you can not beat the location. Kitchen and toilet blocks clean twice a day. Complaints about bugs? Your camping! Found the place and staff very good.
